The room was very spacious, and the bathroom was also very clean with a large, bright stand-alone shower stall. Location was excellent and withing walking distance to shopping, many restaurants, and theaters. Roof-top bar was excellent!

The room had been updated, but the decor was cold, hard, boring, and lacking in comforts of any kind. Dull artwork, vinyl wipe-off fabric on the sofa, and various shades of brown were unappealing and lacking any vintage character you would expect in the Market Square area. No drinking glasses for water, just cardboard cups for coffee. Not what I would call Hyatt-quality luxury in any way.

I loved that this hotel was downtown and located right next to a really good pizza joint that is open until 1 on the weekends. It was only an 11-minute walk to our concert venue, and the pizza was perfect after a night of rocking out. The bed was decent, but I did like how our room was really spacious. This is our first time away from home in 8 months after having our second child, so this was a very nice getaway. We haven't been down to check out the continental breakfast yet, but that is definitely on our to-do list before we check out. The guy who checked us in and the valet guys were very friendly and welcoming.

The bathtub was stopped up. We didn't tell anybody, but we plan to when we check out today. It didn't really bother us because we just took quick showers, but definitely couldn't let the water run. The bed is a standard hotel bed. I didn't hate it, but it's definitely not like my memory foam bed at home.

The hotel was great. Very clean, nice room friendly staff.

The rooftop bar. Poor service, wait staff ignored us. We had to flag someone down to take our order.Told us there were no tables outside at 1045 pm but they really just wanted to close it early. Weird. Most food on the bar menu was unavailable at 445 pm. We came back at 10 45 and not even bar mix or chips were to be had. Went to the lobby and bought chips to have with drinks. Really not a great idea to have people drinking without food available. The staff seemed to pay attention to young guests but ignore those of us in our 60s.

Location and Cleanliness. The Rooftop bar was a hit.

The Valet service they contract with was slow and a rip-off for $50 ($42 plus tax) a day. They take the cars to the parking garage a block away. I found out that garage is $7 max per day and free on many weekends. It is literally a block away. If you are able, drop off the luggage at curbside and park or schlep your bag from the garage. I found out halfway through my 4 day stay and cancelled the last two nights of the valet service. I paid $7 for 2 days (one day was free).

Although an older building, the hotel is attractive on the inside. Easy check-in. The location is fantastic if you want to be downtown and close to dining / entertainment. Easy drive to the University of Tennessee. Surprising quiet for a downtown hotel except for slamming doors early in the morning. Breakfast was ok but no great. Skip the Starbucks and hit up the local coffee shop (Coffee and Chocolate) which is a 10 minute walk. Also, pass on the $40 valet parking and park free in the garage behind the hotel.

The rooftop bar / terrance is not open seating except for a handful of seats at the bar. The fire pits are nice but all signed "reserved" with no one sitting there. I asked the bartender about why reserved and was brushed off and told I would have to ask the hostess. Nice view from the roof but would have enjoyed sitting by the fire. Lots of homeless roaming downtown Knoxville on a Sunday morning.

This was the perfect location. My sister and I had a dinner reservation at Tupelo Honey in Market Square before a Henry Cho comedy show at the Bijou. After the show, we went up to Five-Thirty for a nightcap and dessert, which was lovely and delicious. The room was spacious and comfortable, the beds were very good, and the temperature was easy to adjust. Breakfast was very good, with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, fresh fruit, and coffee. We were very pleased with our stay and will certainly return to the Hyatt the next time we stay in Downtown Knoxville.

All tge staff we came in contact with was very nice. If you asked them something they would happily find the answer to your question. Matthew, Eli, Tiffany, and really all the velets were very sweet men and women.

They charged me double, and U called gave me a really stuip reason about it will drop off, it didn't make since to put the customer through that. They didn't serve pork bacon only turkey. I didn't like the fact that they hire young people to park cars for guest, and they don't have a chair for them to sit in between parking cars. There college students they can read in between relax their muscles and feet. They only get 5 dollars an hour.

We went for New Years Eve. We had the front city view. It was so pretty. The bed and sheets were amazingly comfortable. I especially love the sitting area in our room where I could sit in the morning and have my coffee. The shower was nice, and the slow closing doors and drawers were a nice touch. Loved the binds also. Over all, it was lovely.

The eggs and sausage at breakfast were not the greatest. A few suggestions would be to cook the sausage more. Add cheese to the eggs so they don't taste so fake. Also a coat hook or coat tree in the rooms would be very convenient. Our closet was full and we had to lay our coats and hats all over the room. We were in and out alot and it was cold. I think that would be handy for many were wearing big heavy coats. And like alot of others have said, the parking cost was alot. Luckily the days we were there we found a spot with a meter and we didn't have to put money in because of the holiday.

Love the room. Couch is amazing and so convenient when stuck in the room because it's cold and snowy. Bed was comfy. Huge shower. Valet is great! Overall a truly great stay for downtown Knox! Breakfast was great! Hot and cold items, fresh fruit. They even came and let me know when they refilled an item I was looking for. Walking distance to downtown attractions is great, especially for the Tennessee Theatre.

No coffee bar in lobby after breakfast. Although there's a coffee maker in the room it didn't have much choice of packets to make. Valet is more expensive than website or booking.com said ($35). And there's no restaurant on site, only the rooftop bar and a quick snack/sandwich cooler in the lobby. Luckily there's dining within walking distance.

Really great full breakfast included every morning; lovely rooftop bar with some food options open 7 days a week; fitness center was spotlessly clean and well-equipped; and there is a Starbuck's attached to the lobby (convenient!)

They do not offer daily housekeeping service unless you ask. And when they did clean our room, they did the bathroom but did not make the beds. That was a bit disappointing.
