Great location. Very convenient location for my visit, only 5 minute walk from hotel to the location of the wake. The outside seating located on the beautiful river bank was lovely with the amazing massive outdoor tv screen. Good breakfast. Thanks everyone

The accommodation was good but the single room I was in could improve with a coat of paint to freshen it up. Could improve with a better chair in the room. The hotel is not disabled friendly with the room accessed via a steep set of stairs and no lift. Difficult when using crutches, impossible had I been in the wheelchair. At the time of booking I didn’t know that the rooms were above a large well attended bar and restaurant. Luckily I didn’t get back to the hotel until 11pm when the televised football had finished and people were leaving. At time of booking it was very confusing on several web sites as to whether the rooms were en suite as there was mention of shared bathrooms. Just a small point that needs clarification on the advertisement showing all rooms are en suite.

Fabulous period building in the centre of the gorgeous Market Deeping town. Incredible value for money, very helpful and friendly staff, super clean room and surprisingly quiet for a pub once I was in my room. Car park is super handy too - thank you Deepings stage team! En suite was great and I loved the biccies with the tea, proper kettle too. Everything was so thoughtful in the room.

It’s a period property - which means the floors aren’t level… which means the bed wasn’t, and as it was a single bed I felt I was falling out all the time! Also… one pillow only?!

Location was perfect for visiting elderly relative living in the village. The staff were exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable about local resources (buses, local taxi service, etc). Breakfast was exceptional, with plenty of choice and excellent quality. Special thanks to assistant manager, Harry who went out of his way to help us when needed.

Bathroom could have been better equipped with shelving/stand to put one’s toiletries on. Poor public transportation, but excellent taxi company with set flat rates.

When I booked I asked for a room with not to many stairs to climb they accepted my request, but when we arrived they put us in the very top floor with 4 lots of stairs to climb I was not at all happy but I told the girl and she said we are fully booked and could not do nothing about it, it was a really nice room but the stairs were to much, we booked early enough thought they would have saved a room for us, Would stay again but not in room 7

The food is very good - the best in the area. There is a good choice of local real ales. The rooms are nicely furnished and it is a lovely old characterful coaching inn. The staff are always very friendly and helpful - and willing to go that extra mile. The nicest place to stay in the whole area.

Everything's fine. Personally I'm not bothered about cushions and swags on beds, but it's not a problem.

Location was perfect for us as we were there for a family event. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and really made our stay so nice. The public areas are well laid out with different seating areas to suit different needs. As for the breakfasts - my husband loved his full English on both mornings!

Could hear the road noise in the morning but that didn’t really bother us very much

The staff are all very helpful and friendly, the room was clean and very comfortable and the cooked breakfast had a verity of choices. We had an evening meal in the restaurant and we were not disappointed the food was excellent and the portions ample. The onsite bar is lively during the evening with a variety of events to include a large TV in the garden and bar. During the day it is much quieter to relax and unwind with a choice of outside seating the bar or lounge.

As this venue has a lively night life expect some noise until late from below your room and from party people leaving or waiting for transport home but be assured once all have gone home peace is restored for a good nights sleep.

Liked location, lovely room, private balcony for guests was brilliant, good food and facilties.

Balcony could have been cleaned, as ashtrays were dirty all weekend. Restaurant floor was a little dirty with food debris etc.

Lovely place, super friendly staff and enjoyed evening meal (fab steak pie) and breakfast. The room (number 8) was very comfortable. WIU km d defo stay again!

Cleaner must have hurried and forgotten to clean bathroom sink and restock coffee etc small gripe for what was a lovely comfortable stay

The Hotel as a whole is absolutely fine, parking, food, welcoming and friendly staff, the location to have a nice walk is good and also to visit other villages nearby. For the price which included breakfast, good value.

The room and communal areas for guests just needs a little bit of TLC, the shower had a fault to it which meant we couldn't adjust the height etc the shower head kept falling out. This was reported to staff.
