Nestled in a beautifully restored late 19th-century villa, the guesthouse is located on the peaceful slopes of Gellért Hill — just a short walk from the famous Gellért Baths, metro station, and the vibrant heart of Budapest. The house is close to all the main attractions from the city centre, also there is a Lidl about 8 - 10 min walking distance so getting groceries is easy. The staff was very welcoming and kind. They even let us keep our car on their parking spot all day after we left.

The parking is quite tricky. If you park on the street you need to pay the parking fee for zone B in budapest (400HUF/h i remember.. + or - 50Huf) but you can do that for only 3 hours (budapest parking rules idk). The host helped me with the parking giving me a spot that didn't need paying in front of the house.

If you value homelike, warm hospitality with unique interiors echoing the historical past of Budapest, this is the place for you. A rare jewel among soulless hotel chains that all look the same. Old buildings are not perfect, but this one is well kept, clean and memorable, with charming surprises. I got such a nice big room too :) A cosy garden and beautiful surroundings can be enjoyed. The location is very good, with a short walking distance to great cafes and the food market.

The stay was even better than I expected.

The place has unique location, very close to city center, quiet, green and with parking places. Perfect point to start tour to city center. The old style architecture of Panzio is amazing. The landlady was so nice and give us very important information what to visit, where is it and where to eat traditional hungarian food. Thanks for nice place and nice householding. I wanted to stay at an authentic Hungarian place. This lovely large House/Hotel was wonderful and the owner Esta was so friendly, helpful and cheerful. The location was peaceful and away from the Busy centre of town but close to the River Dambue and the city was within easy reach. If you like older style rooms and furniture and a bit quirky and family run places you will like it here

It would of been nice to have something for Breakfast. Saying that there were places within walking distance to eat. I would like to mention there were quite a few steep steps leading up to the House, the owner did carry my suitcase up for me, not usually a problem but I strained my knee a few weeks earlier.

Very nice and helpful host. The location is SUPER, the house iis (almost) in a big park at 2 minutes walking from a main classic bridge, also at walking distance to the center an a big 1900 style indore market.

The bad thing is that we booked for only one night and could not stay longer.

The accomodation was perfect! It had everything we needed and the bed was really cozy. The beautiful garden made the accomodation so nice! Also the host was amazing. She was so nice to us! We could leave our bags at the accomodation until our departure and generally she helped us out a lot! Such a friendly woman! We will definitely come back!

This place is one of Budapest’s hidden gems. You’re staying in an old mansion, that once belonged to one of Hungary’s noble families. The room looks just like a museum and everything is vintage. This place is more than an accommodation, being a genuine experience, especially for history lovers.
