I had read the reviews and was a little concerned, so when we arrived to a nice, big, clean room, we were quite happy and even added to our stay. I felt that the breakfast was good. There were 3 types of cereal, yogurt, butter, 3 types of bread, donuts and muffins, 2 waffle making machines, hot sausages, hot eggs, juice, and coffee, and tea. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, I really liked the extra space and the layout of the breakfast area being open. In the evening, coffee and tea were still available. The guy at the desk gave me a hard time when we checked in, but I think he was just trying to be funny. It was a good place to stay and really close to a lot of amenities.

Everything was good, actually!

It's an older hotel but updated, as in paint and some fixtures. The coffee pot in the room was old and dirty. The stay was convenient, and since we didn't plan to be in the room long except for sleep, we went to experience the city. The hotel was only about a 15-minute drive from historical Savannah.

I took a candle because I had read some previous reviews that the room might have a musty, food-type smell. I did use the candle, but the room wasn't bad. When we checked in, the hotel clerk made sure we got a great room. He was very friendly, however, the other desk clerks did not even acknowledge our coming and going.

The size of the single king bedroom was larger than expected. The breakfast included was a nice touch, even if the food wasn't hot. The cleaning staff was friendly and accommodating and the staff at the front desk was interactive when we arrived. The location outside of downtown Savannah, but still within a 10-15 minute drive of all attractions, was great! Along with that, it was great to have free parking included.

The heater in our room was rather noisy. The hotel is a bit outdated, but, overall, it was still functional and clean. The TV, while a flat-screen, only had standard definition content to watch while there.

We had a good stay at Comfort Inn in the King Suite. The room was spacious, and the hotel is in a quiet area, which was perfect for us. We traveled during St. Patrick’s Day, and finding a decent place near downtown can be tricky, so this location was a great option. It's not fancy, but it offers good value for the price. We didn’t spend much time at the hotel since we were visiting friends, but it was convenient for sleeping and close enough to downtown. We didn’t have breakfast as it ended at 9 AM, and we couldn't make it in time. Overall, no complaints and we had a comfortable stay.

The bed was comfy.. We slept well and it was quiet. The breakfast included make-your-own waffles which is always great! Also, eggs, sausage, breads, cereals, yogurt, etc. The desk staff and housekeepers were pleasant and helpful. They started a fresh pot of coffee at 5:00 a.m. The building is a little dated, but it was clean, quiet and comfortable.It's on a busy street, but we were able to go out for a walk around adjacent office parks/shopping areas. Just across the street from shopping, restaurants, grocery, and an easy walk - about 1/4 mile - to the mall. Less than 10 minute drive to Historic Downtown Savannah.

The pillows were lumpy. The hair dryer in our room didn't work (they were replacing it the morning we checked out).

Not far from shopping centers. You can walk to them if you desire.

Check out time should be at 12. Breakfast should be until a least 10:30. Most of their sister hotel breakfast ends at 10:30 and check out time is 12. I normally stay at Country Inn but they were booked. The breakfast could have been better. The sausage was hard and tough. Not a variety too choose from like the other hotels under the same umbrella I wanted to use the sofa bed but it bolted and was unable to let out for my granddaughter to sleep. It seems like they were not fully staff. When the food got low it wasn’t being replenished. One quest ask from some more syrup and the he was told it will be about 10-15 minutes before he could get any.

Photos didn’t show the actual spaciousness of the rooms. We were pleasantly surprised by the extra seating and space, both in the room and the bathroom. Very clean, nice design and felt very “Savannah” like. Easy drive to everything (as easy as driving in the historic area can be, but that has nothing to do with the hotel).

Breakfast wasn’t terrible. The eggs and waffles were good, OJ, English muffins, sausage left a lot to be desired, more fruit options bananas or oranges, and bagels or muffins would have made it a lot better.

The room was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. We didn't have a remote but the front desk provided one when asked.

No complaints....

Close to amenities and close drive to historic Savannah. Only 30 minutes from Tydee Island beaches.

Staff at check in could have been more attentive to us a bit on her cell but did offer us a rebate on trolley tour. Attendant one evening asked to use our lighter as we were going out for a cigarette and mentioned that it was for cannabis I believe at the end of his shift but saw him still working an hour later.And we could smell it later on the lobby entrance. The room could have had small table in an empty area where we could sit.

This hotel is different from other Comfort Inns. It is very quiet, you can actually get a good night's rest. Beds are very comfortable, while rooms seem pretty generous in size. The interior of the hotel is also very southern style, quite beautiful. I would stay here again only because you could sleep well.

The carpet inside the room was unexpectedly dirty. You couldn't walk bare feet or in socks. They need a good wash, not only vacuumed. Breakfast choices are also very limited. Typical American breakfast.
