I recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Orabelle, and I must say it was the most peaceful and enjoyable stay I have ever experienced. The hospitality at Villa Orabelle was truly exceptional. As a warm welcome gesture, we were pleasantly surprised to find snacks and a bottle of wine awaiting us in our room. It was a thoughtful gesture that set the tone for the rest of our stay. The receptionist went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction during our visit. They not only helped us book an exciting excursion to Bosnia but also secured front seats on the bus, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the breathtaking landscapes along the way. Despite the regular breakfast service starting at 7 am, the staff graciously accommodated our early departure by providing us with a delicious breakfast ahead of schedule. The attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile truly made us feel valued as guests. The overall experience at Villa Orabelle was nothing short of exquisite. If you're looking for a serene retreat with easy access to the beach, a charming old town, and a dedicated staff that anticipates and fulfills your every need, then Villa Orabelle is the perfect destination for you.

Beautiful property with a beautiful view! Breakfast was wonderful and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and the provided toiletries (body wash/shampoo/conditioner) were actually really nice! Also loved the complimentary bottle of wine and the little treats left on our bed every night. It’s about a 20 minute walk from Old Town or a £5-6 Uber.

The bed was a little firm for my taste, but that was most of the places we stayed in Croatia. It also would’ve been really nice if they had a free shuttle to take guests to/from old town. However the walk wasn’t bad and an Uber was relatively cheap.

Lovely location, great breakfasts.

I arrived at the beginning of the season and had to hunt out the restaurant staff one day when I wanted a drink and something to eat by the pool, on another day a guest had to go and ask for pool towels as there were none out.

Lovely property located in ideal area from Old Town. Staff were so pleasant. Food was great and the views and pool area a welcome retreat from the warmth. Would stay there again definitely!

We had to deal with several bugs and cobwebs in the room

A piece of heaven! So worth it to have a private patio off your room! Everything was PERFECT to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Bring your water shoes for the beach that is below!

the standard of service was excellent and akin to a 5 star rating. the facilities where first class, the food of Michelin standard.

What a boutique hotel should be like. Great attention to detail, the BEST breakfast and really well trained professional staff who were also amazingly charming and friendly at the same time. Very clean and lovely decor. Comfortable bed and pillows. Literally can't fault the place and we've stayed in many high end hotels all over the world many of which cost A LOT more per night but don't live up to these standards! I wouldn't go with kids as it's definitely more of an adult style hotel and pool etc but that suited us as we left our kids at home as we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary.

Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea was fabulous, better than many 5 star hotels. Dinner was also superb - though the menu was limited and a little pricey. Highly recommend to eat here at least one evening if staying at the hotel. The bed was firm and super-comfortable. Great for a refreshing night's sleep. Location was what we wanted. Far enough from the old town to be away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to be able to walk (15+mins). Lots of buses and taxis if you didn't fancy the after dinner walk back.

Nothing the Villa can do about this but the view to the west was dominated by the huge Rixos hotel right next door. Our room was slightly overlooked by the Rixos terrace.

The room, view and terrace was beautiful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. They couldn't do more for you. The room was serviced twice a day and there was complimentary water daily and a little pack of home made biscuits every night placed in the room. There was also a lovely unexpected gift from them as we were celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary. The pools were really lovely and there was also an opportunity to swim in the sea from the rocks and a beach. It was a lovely 20 minute walk around the coast into the town some may prefer to get a bus uphill. Tickets are available from the hotel to be validated on the bus later. It's is a beautiful gem of a place and I can't recommend it more highly. If you want to relax away from the tourist spots then this is the place to come. Thankyou so much to all of the staff who made our holiday truly memorable.

There is nothing to not like about Villa Orabelle We were expecting this from other reviews but the huge hotel next door had live music until 11pm!

The photos from booking.com do not do the location of this property justice. it is truly breathtaking. The staff were amazing, really made you feel like they couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was included but they still made a huge effort with service and presentation. Absolutely loved my stay at Villa Orabelle.

One small issue was that the air conditioning in our room was not very powerful. Not a huge issue for our stay as it was max 23 degrees Celsius but if you were staying in the true heat of Dubrovnik you would perhaps struggle
