It was centrally located. Close to shops and across the road from the beach. The unit was lovely, clean, comfortable and very spacious with everything that we needed such as a full kitchen. Loved the wooden furniture and the king size bed. The shower was fantastic. In some places you have to run around in the shower just to get wet, but not with this shower, it was great. The complex was in a secured area so no one could just walk into the complex. Loved that there was only 12 units which meant we didn't have lots and lots of people every where. The staff were so friendly and very helpful. I will certainly recommend these units and will be staying there again.

The accommodation had 2 bedrooms, lounge, dining, separate toilet, well stocked kitchen and large balcony. We were in the upstairs unit which had sea views from across the road. Walking distance to bars, cafes and beach walks. The furniture had a chunky wooden theme which added to the character of the place. Even had a double lazy boy sofa so we could relax comfortably in the evening. We had secure parking which was an added bonus.

Road noise if you left the windows open however the bedroom is to the rear of the accommodation so we didn't hear much and slept well.

The location was great. We parked the car and walked to our restaurants for both dinner and breakfast. Our room was absolutely spotless. Everything was provided for the 2 of us. 2 soaps, 2 washers etc. That does not always happen at other venues. The fridge was a great size - not a bar fridge.

The bed and sofa were not comfortable. The bed was too hard and sagged in the middle. The sofa had little stuffing.

Though only stayed at the property for a couple of nights, it more than met my expectations as the bed was comfortable, the location was convenient as it was directly across from the water, and walking distance to cafes and the Beach Hotel. Check-in was through a self-service kiosk which worked really well. Having a kitchen is a cost saver particularly if staying for a longer duration. Parking was also easy.

Loved staying on the first floor, but carrying my suitcase up was a little difficult, though achievable. Only a very minor thing though as loved everything.

Absolutely beautiful location The bed was comfortable,the presentation amd cleanliness was outstanding , the accomadation vibe was relaxing The shower w Has incredible pressure and the towels were soft and plenty available . Instead of planning our holiday to another location we have decided our future plans amd accomadtion will be back at the motel .

I'm very picky and very snobbish on accomadation , but I have not one bad word to say about the mote except I'm kicking myself I didn't book for longer .

we arrived a little early but the very nice lady gave us the key. Could not fault the cleanness of the apartment. We have stayed in other apartments on the Bay but although Palms was older it was far cleaner than any other apartments.

My only comment was we were on the ground floor and at 10.30.pm people arrived and were staying in the apartment above us. I guess this will always happen when people are coming from a distance. Just a shame they were not trying to arrive quietly.

Handy location to shops, cafes, pub, beach etc

No complaints. Could’ve done with one larger saucepan & a dvd player but hey no big deal. Saw couple of rats on balcony & our front door but I know they are everywhere in the streets. There were none inside the unit 😊

Large apartment although older style. Was comfortable and clean. Good bed. All facilities close by restaurants, cafes and beach.

Perhaps a few more cooking utensils would be good another couple of saucepans and a colander! Neighbours in the unit above were noisy and jumped on the floor quite a bit.

It was close to the Hervey Bay 100 start and finish lines. It wasn’t ridiculously expensive. The self checking process was very clear and uncomplicated.

Providing a full kitchen means more than just the basics. Larger saucepans, frying pans and serving bowls would have been appreciated. Plus it never hurts to include something welcoming even if it’s just a packet of biscuits.

Location excellent, the cleaning lady who we met was amazing, and I’ve never stayed in a hotel where the cleanlinesss was on point, soooooo clean! The manager also goes above and beyond! Thank you xk

There is nothing not to like ,, room 12 has a washing machine which was a bonus and the room is more modern, we moved upstairs in room 9 which was older but still exceptionally clean and more private
