Wow! What did I like? EVERYTHING! This place is amazing! The hosts were amazing! Unfortunately, I only spent 1 night for my flight the next day but could have easily stayed longer. If you do not have a car, you can walk about 15 min to the local bus stop, but make sure to have 1 euro (no way of getting a ticket or paying the bus driver with any other currency). From there, it goes directly to the airport. If you're just arriving, go to terminal 3, cross the street, in the middle area...it will say local bus on the concrete. From my experience, not many know about this bus, so ask using LOCAL BUS. Again, must have 1 euro. I think you can get a ticket in the airport but much easier if you have the coin. So recommended 10 🌟

Loved all of it

This is the second tie we have stayed at Albis, and I will return when we are traveling in or out of FCO. The staff is very helpful, the rooms are clean and well appointed (even including a luggage weighing device - so convenient and thoughtful!) and more. We had an early flight from FCO. Staff helped us arrange a taxi that was 12 Euro less than the ride from the airport to Albis (25 vs. 37) and they even made up a generous bag of snacks for us to take with us to enjoy at the airport and on the plane. The location is very convenient (10-12 minute cab ride from FCO) and within walking distance of the cruise ship port that has many restaurants to cover a variety of tastes. Some were open at the late night time of our arrival and we found the food to be good and the restaurant reasonably priced. Albis thinks of everything and provides what travelers need to make a stay near the airport just wonderful.

I can't think of anything I'd change. The price is very fair, the room was comfortable and clean. I can't comment on breakfast, the but snack bag provided to us 'to go' had a generous supply of pre-packaged food and juice drinks.

I chose Albis Rooms initially based on the proximity to FCO airport and the reviews of the property. When I arrived I was warmly greeted and everything was ready although I arrived earlier than expected. The owners are incredibly kind and attentive. The proximity to downtown restaurants and stores is excellent for walking. The owners knew I had a flight the next day and graciously reserved a private driver to take me to the airport and provided me with the best breakfast snacks for my journey. I had a lovely conversation with the owner as we waited for my ride. 10/10 I highly recommend and I will certainly be back when I visit Italy again.

Everything was perfect.

The room and hotel were super clean and everything looked new. You could eat off those floors. Our whole experience was amazing. I cannot explain how lovely and caring the owners were. From our welcome to Departure. They also gave us a bag of snacks to eat on airplane. Travelling through Europe you need to be careful. It was the first time I could just relax and not be on guard. This was a small overnight stop over while connecting flights but we were encouraged to go and visit the town. A beautiful little fishing village. Excellent resturants and the best gelato in Italy (actually traditionally made). Great room, great hosts. This was the real Italia. Warm, welcoming, generous, and 💯 Authentic.

I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is like me and doesn't make a reservation. I was in Rome for a 14-hour layover and couldn't find a place. I winged it and decided to book with Albis and found a taxi to take me there. The owners were very friendly and even upgraded my room at no cost. The room was very clean, organized, and tidy. There was a small refrigerator that had free complimentary drinks and snacks, and I even found Dragon Ball on t.v.! (even though it was in Italian 😅) They even prepared a goodie bag of snacks and called a taxi to bring me back to the airport in the morning. I am truly grateful to the owners because I was a very tired traveler and was in a land that I did not know the language or area but felt comfortable with them and the room I rented. I would 100 percent rent again if I'm ever in that area of Italy again.

There is nothing that I didn't like.

We stayed here for the last night of our honeymoon, close to the airport. The hosts were wonderful and so sweet, they were very informative about the surrounding town, where to go to eat, and they assured us it was safe. They gifted us a large bag of snacks and treats on our way out which really made us feel so special! We had a wonderful dinner at L'Osteria dell'Orologio - highly recommend. Our room was very clean and comfortable and a nice size. Overall a wonderful stay. If I wanted to stay near the Rome airport again I would 100% stay here. Thank you so much!!

Everything, in arriving the hosts were amazing, friendly, welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. Our flight was cancelled at 10pm and we booked a room at the Albis along with other passengers. We did not get out of the airport until 11.30pm due to customs and arrived at the Albis at 11.50pm and our hosts were waiting for us. They leant me a charger for my phone straight away then showed us to our room which was amazing. Fresh, clean, with everything you would need and more. There was a mini bar with drinks and snacks with no extra charge. A great night sleep and shower with all the added extras if you had forgotten anything. They arranged a taxi back to the airport for us in the morning and handed us a breakfast parcel to take to the airport with juice, pastries, cake and biscuits. A real family run accommodation with the family touch that a larger hotel lacks. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you

Nothing, the whole stay although short was great.

Armando and Roberta (hope I got your names right!) were generous and conscientious hosts. The rooms were spotless and lovely. The extra touches like fresh flowers in the room, a fully stocked minifridge with free offerings and an amazing to go bag at 6am were not list on us. We so appreciated that kindness. It also is very clise to town and restaurants. It’s the perfect stay for easy access to the airport that was just minutes away. Thank you so much for your gracious hospitality.

We liked everything.

I thought it is close to the airport by looking at the map. But a taxi is needed to get there. It is so hard to find a taxi at the airport. The first taxi driver wanted to scam me by charging me 50 euro, which is the fare to Rome city. so I don't want to hail a regular taxi. Then I tried using mobile app, but several drivers refused my requests. Eventually I used Uber to find a taxi with 22.50 euros. It took me eventually 1 hour to get there. Not the hotel's fault.

The hosts are the nicest people you'd meet. They even packed breakfast for me at 4am in the morning! This was complete surprise. The rooms were exceptionally clean, very nicely maintained and had everything you possibly need. I travel a lot and I have been in several hotels and Airbnbs in many countries. I can say with confidence that the experience in this accomodation is very nice and this is completely due to the very kind and caring hosts.
