A very comfortable stay in accommodation that was much less expensive than surrounding options. I booked one room with a private bathroom - I was pleasantly surprised that this was en suite, as I was informed in advance that the bathroom was likely to be a separate room down the corridor. Although it's very close to the very loud Reeperbahn, I wasn't bothered by noise during the night and could even sleep with the window open. Window closed blocked out all the sound. Although not luxury accommodation, everything was clean and as promised, and there were a few little unexpected bonuses. I didn't interact with any staff during the whole stay - everything was handled automatically and with electronic coded doorlocks. I imagine the hostel is often occupied by large groups (stag do's, etc) - so that's the most likely source of disturbance. I was lucky and had no such issue.

Difficult to say anything negative - the value for money was great, but it's a hostel, so just don't expect luxurious bedding and remember to take your own towel (or book one for an extra cost in advance)

Nice street (though the main street just beside it is not quite suitable for children at night), comfortable window which you can actually sit on, feeling the weather and street vibe. Though there was a need to walk to the shower and bathroom and open and lock them with a code each time, they were surprisingly available most of the time.

There isn't really present staff, they do come though if you press the button at the entrance (presumably because you had trouble entering) The bathroom sink was too small and tap too close to it. I ended up using the one that's in the shower room, instead.

I came with 2 friends and had a great time. Don't worry about it being close to the red light district, it was totally fine and I would say family friendly. Very clean everywhere Good price Quiet Good facilities in the bathroom Friendly staff Free coffee in the morning Great value

Would have been nice to have soap in the bathroom. Me and my friends brought soap with us and it does clearly state on the website that we needed to do so, but still it's always nice to have it ready in the bathroom.

Me and my 9 year old son booked a 2-bed room with private bathroom outside of the room for two nights. We have likely been upgraded - we had a 5-bed room for ourselves. There was a small balcony, bathroom and a small fridge in the room, plenty of power sockets for gadget charging, free and good internet - all perfect with a child. We used the common kitchen (had all basic things) for simple cooking, massage chair and free coffee in the morning was thoroughly enjoyed too. Everything was pretty simple, but very clean and had a somewhat "homely" feel to it. Location also great - central and close to main attractions. Pretty colourful nightlife and plenty of eating out places just outside the door. A grocery store is also close by - open till 23.00.

Missed soap in the bathroom - it mentioned in the description though- we just forgot to bring it. Address or recommendations for cheap parking (long term) would be a great addition to the description of the hostel. Parking in the streets close by is nearly impossible to find and the one we found on arrival (Rindermarkthallen) cost us nearly 40e, luckily we found another one close by the stadion "Millerntor" - 5e for a whole day. And it's only about 10min walk.

Excellent location!!! Just off the main strip of Reeperbahn so no street noise but only a 2 minute walk and you're back amongst it. Very comfy beds, warm shower, easy check in, would happily stay again. Kitchen facilities and a chill out room which we didn't need but were handy to have.

A typical hostel in that your amount of sleep will depend on the other guests. There was a group that decided the best place to socialise at 1:30am was in the hallway and we could hear every word. Thankfully once we let them know we were trying to sleep they quietened right down, but the walls are indeed on the thin side.

Location was good. Although quite close to reeperbahn, it was quite ( my room was on ground floor-i stayed in weekdays so cannot comment on weekends). Close to a number of different transportation, ubahn, sbahn, bus etc. room was clean, free coffee in the morning is also very good. Have a luggage room to leave your belongings.

My room was a single room with a private bathroom and a toilet in the hallway. Toilet and bathroom were separate and it was not comfortable. No big issues though, just for other people to know.

Easy walk from bus and metro along the Reeperbahn. Great location for a late-night snack or drink. Suprisingly quiet at night. Didn‘t feel uncomfortable walking around with two teenagers. Excellent communication before arrival ensured easy check-in late at night. Hostel set-up, you make your own beds! Room and common rooms were spotless and suitable for our one night stay. Comfortable beds. Free coffee/tea and locker were a bonus. After a day of sightseeing we were allowed to use facilities to freshen up before travelling on. Taylor Swift was in town, not sure if that was why the price seemed a bit high, but considering the friendly and accommodating staff I‘m okay with that.

Considering this isn‘t a cheaply priced hostel, I would have appreciated having towels included.

The beds were comfortable, the room was spacious and the private bathroom was a bonus (we booked a twin bunk room but got a larger room with a bathroom, maybe because we were there in the off season?). The room allocation was very appreciated on arrival. The fridge in the room was also incredibly helpful, the cooking facilities were great, the free tea and coffee in the morning was also lovely. The location was good, a bit of a walk into the city if you wanted to venture that way but not far on the metro. We explored a lot around the hostel too, lots of things to see close by.

Because we were on the ground floor right next to the kitchen and very close to the other communal areas it was quite loud at certain times but with earplugs it didn't disturb my sleep too much.

Location, beds, kitchen, sitting area, free coffee in the mornings, great communication, and easy to check in.

We had the room on the bottom floor and unfortunately, if there was any noise outside the door, we heard everything. We always have ear plugs with us, but sometimes it was still bothersome. They also did some painting in the hallway the first morning right outside our door and we could hear every brushstroke. It would have been nice to be notified about that beforehand.

I love that the check-in process was safe and quick. I love that I had my own room with my own shower/toilet. The location is amazing. One block from the Reeperban and one block from the St. Pauli FC grounds.

I loved my experience. If you are traveling alone, most likely you will not see the other guest. You are left alone. So be prepared to be independent. But I am staying at the location in the future.
