Location was easily accessible by bus. We travelled to Innsbruck on train from Zurich and was able to get the bus from the train station straight to the hotel. Register with the hotel prior to arrival so that you can get the Innsbruck tourist pass which gives you free travel on local buses and free or reduced entry to various sightseeing spots. This is really highly recommended. Nice view of the mountains from the hotel. We had a large room which was comfortable. Breakfast is good with essentials available but now a huge variety but sufficient. Hotel feels cosy with a family run feel.

Room amenities limited. No shower cap, slippers etc. just soap and shampoo from dispenser. I always feel that this extra touch makes the hotel feel more homely and also less stress for travellers to have to carry.

Front desk was very helpful. They booked a taxi for me on the return journey. Also, gave me advice on driving into Italy through the Alps in the winter. Having the restaurant in the motel is pretty helpful but make sure you have reservations for the weekends.

Putting two twins/fulls together is not a comfy sleeping experience. You cannot spread out in the middle of the bed. I think my room was advertised as a Full or a Queen. The comforters were also too small and built to fit each individual bed that were combined. Not the best sleeping experience.

Breakfast was nice and had plenty choices. Sometimes at 8am the bread was running low already but not a big deal. Location was pretty good with plenty bus stops around. We were given the Innsbruck welcome card which made going around free. We were worried about being next to s busy road, the the windows are triple glazed so no noise from road disturbed us. We also didn't hear any neighbours which is great. Very helpful staff and always ready to help. Clean facilities and hotel in general. Food in the restaurant very tasty with plenty choices.

The mattresses were a little hard so we didn't sleep that well as we re used to a soft mattress but I guess that's up to preference and habits. Pillows were also a little too soft. The rooms were very very hot so we ended up opening the windows for some fresh air.

The facilities were wonderful and they actually have air conditioning in the rooms, which for an American in Europe is a total bonus! The staff was absolutely wonderful and patiently and pleasantly answered all the questions we had (and we had a fair few).

Parking for a car was tight. Once night, when I got the last spot available, it was so tight between the adjacent cars, I had to exit my car through the hatchback door. The hotel isn't particularly near a bus stop, so using local transit and letting the car sit was possible, but not a great option. Although the air conditioning was great, it was only a "one shot" deal. It got the temp to where you set it and then stopped. If the room got hot again, you'd have to physically go to the control and start it again.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Dollinger. The location is perfect and is close to just about everything. It's just outside the main busy city center so it's quiet and peaceful. The staff are all amazing, especially the girls at the front desk. They help you with everything and also gave me a special card for free busses and trains that helped so much. The place is very clean and organized and has air conditioning, which in this heat is essential for a good night's sleep. The food at breakfast and the restaurant were exceptional! I'm coming back to stay here at the end of my trip a few more days before I leave. I highly recommend it!

Our family of 4 stayed for one night in 2 rooms with a nice view from our windows overlooking the mountains. The hotel was easy to reach by car. We had dinner at the hotel and the food was good. Breakfast was included in our stay and was also good. Parking is available but very limited.

There were a smell of cigarette smoke in the hotel. No USB charging port in the room The bathroom glass bathroom door does not offer privacy

The location was fantastic. 3 bus stops with in 5 minutes walk. Including the local bus to Swarovski museum. Views from the windows were lovely. Breakfast was very nice. Staff amazing. They all spoke at least two languages and easily switched from one to another. The bar and restaurant were very good. Food lovely and plenty of choice of drnks. The beer garden was very comfortable and relaxing. Rooms were large and bathrooms great. Big enough but not too big. No noise from outside or from with in. Air-conditioning great. Windows that open is fantastic.

Unfortunately the pillows are very uncomfortable. But that has been all over Europe. The bottom sheet was a bit scratchy.

Excellent, very affordable, foot steps from city center in Innsbruck. Nice room, new mattress, bathroom is awesome, breakfast with lots of variety, staff very friendly and prompt to help whatever the time is.

Air conditioning of rooms facing a very busy street does not operate too long and shuts down automatically. You have to decide on not sleeping well because of waking up to turn on AC all the time or the open the windows and not sleep because of loud noise. Neither are good choices.

The Dollinger is my preferred hotel in Innsbruck! It's close to the mountains and is in a beautiful quiet part of the city. It's a 10 minute walk by the river to the old city which one must definitely see while in Innsbruck! The building is clean with modern updates as well as the rooms with super comfy beds. The staff are all amazing and so helpful if you should need anything. The breakfast room, restaurant and lounge are all fantastic and the food is quality and delicious! I've stayed twice and will definitely be back!

What's not to like!

The location was great, easily accessible to the city centre. The staff were friendly, the dinner I had one night was delicious and the breakfasts were lovely, with lots of choice. I loved the decor of the hotel, bar and dining rooms, even down to the art on the wall in the corridor and the fresh yellow tulips placed in a white jug under the golden coloured mirror on the landing on the first floor. The rooms and every part of the hotel that I came across was very clean. I missed my bus to the train station on the morning I was leaving and had to run back to the hotel to ask the lady on Reception to order a taxi for me. She did and said the taxi would be there in 2 minutes, which it was. Because of the speed the Receptionist booked the taxi and because the taxi turned up on time, I made my train.

The only downside was that the carpet on the left side of the bed was stained, due to being overused I imagine. It made the carpet look a bit grubby.
