Nice hotel stay in apartment-style room with kitchenette. Room was clean, comfortable, and spacious - kitchenette had basic set of dishes, cups, cooking pots, utensils, very adequate for our one-night stay. Location of the hotel is good - easy walking distance to the old town center and just around the corner from Saint Wenceslas Cathedral. Trams run directly in front of the hotel so there is street noise during the day and early evening, but later at night it becomes very quiet - we had a good night's sleep. We arrived on Saturday early afternoon so parking on the street in front of the hotel was free (on weekends) and easy to find a spot. For later check-in times it will be more difficult to find a parking spot nearby, we saw a couple of "creatively parked" cars out front the next morning.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice. The first two nights I was in a room that was too warm with no fan and was so noisy from the Trams. But I asked for a quiet room with fan and they gave me a suit that was more quiet and had a fan. I was comfortable

Close to the old town and all the sight seeings. Very welcoming personnel. Very good breakfast with a variety of snacks and dishes. Very spacy apartment with two rooms.

No exclusive hotel parking lots. The quality could be better comparing to the price anyhow as the hotel was refurnished quite long time ago. Pigeons on balconies since 5 am and making a lot of noise (for rooms facing the other building / not the street). Unpleasant smell from the pipelines (we had an apartment with the kitchenette)

We booked an apartment in the hotel, very spacious with kitchenette and large bathroom. The hotel is located midway between the station and the old town, both easily reached on foot or by tram. Good breakfast with a choice of hot or cold dishes, very good coffee. Olomouc is a charming old town with much to explore, well worth a visit.

There wasn't a shower cublicle, only a handheld shower over the bath, with no shower curtain. The bath had a very high lip, so I had a little trouble getting my leg over. The apartment has an entrance lobby with an automatic light which, if you forgot to close the door at night, would come on as you rolled over in bed . That was a bit annoying.

Good location, refurbished room with small kitchenette and fridge. Good size. Very good beds and mattress. It doesn't matter if you book a twin or double, it's still two beds, they are just put together a double room. Good towels, all clean. Big window that you can fully open. There was a fan in the room. Breakfast was excellent.

No A/C. Automated sensor (WHY?!) light in the hallway can't be switched off. You won't get sleep in summer if you need to keep a window open due to the noise and the cathedral bells every 15 minutes. It's absolutely fine with a closed window.

Excellent location for enjoying the best that Olomouc has to offer. Staff at hotel Palac were very kind and helpful in regard to our large group of students from multiple countries. The rooms are very large and spacious, and the beds were decent. The breakfast buffet was extensive.

The style, ambiance and lighting in the rooms leaves a bit to be desired. But if you can overlook this, the rooms were quite clean and comfortable.

The room was clean and relatively quiet even though facing on the street. The location is perfect. From the train station to the hotel, only 15 mins by tram and 5 mins to the main square of the Olomouc city. Very combinient.

TV network was poor. And it was complicated to change the channel. The room door was not closed smoothly. I needed to be careful if the door is closed properly.

I loved the bed in this hotel! Also, it's conveniently placed between the train station and the city center, with the tram station right in front of it. It's also really clean, which is a must, and the staff was nice.

One thing i missed were sugar-free cereal options at breakfast (just a muesli with no added sugar) and there is no 24-hour reception. Other than that, all good.

The location was perfect, we were able to walk around for sight seeing, the breakfast was super delicious, the room was spacious and the prompt support from the stuff was superb. Keep up the good work!

We had issues with heating in the room. I don't know if it was automated to switch off at midnight till morning because all the 3 nights the heating will switch off and it was super cold at night and snowing heavily. So we had to go to the reception everyday in the morning to ask them to switch it on. My partner was waking up with a blocked nose every morning because of the cold at night.

The room was more than I expected, as it included a kitchenette--fridge, cooktop, dishes, kettle, etc. The room was like a student dorm. The furniture was new--functional, clean, durable. Bathroom was functional and clean. There is a small private hallway that includes a full closet. This could be a good long-term rental as well. Location is in the old town on one end. Given the price and location, this room was a great deal. Also, the staff was helpful, friendly, and spoke great English. TV channels were mostly in Czech, with a few in German. My room also had a nice view of St. Wenceslas cathedral, which is just around the corner.

The main negative thing about the room was the temperature/noise situation. The hotel is wedged between two busy streets, with bars on both sides, so there will be noise from conversation and cars into the early morning. If it's hot in the summer, which it is, you'll have to open the window, due to the lack of air conditioning, which means you'll hear all that and sleep poorly. Additionally, you'll hear the church bells, which aren't as annoying, but which are loud. I know AC costs money to install and operate, but I think the hotel would do better to install it and charge a little more. Another couple small things: the assortment of dishes needs both a lid to the pots/pans, and a genuine coffee cup or two (with a handle). Also, the room could use a safe.
