Our stay here was perfect. The room was big and very clean, it had air conditioning which is really important for summer in Catania. Also, the room was cleaned every day. Location is perfect, a 5-10 minute walk from the town center, and a 10 min walk to the train and bus station. Host Roberta is one of the kindest people you'll ever meet and will do everything to help you during your stay in Catania. Also, she makes the best breakfast - her crepes are incredible. I would recommend booking with a breakfast because it was really delicious. Room also had a massage chair which is a really nice touch.

Host Roberta was so helpful. We needed to rent a car urgently and person who she called picked us up in 30 minutes and took us to his workshop and we had a car ready immediately at great price. Also Roberta makes amazing breakfast by your choice, we travelled the whole world and never had such amazing treatment from the host. Property was super clean and location was close to all important attractions. She also booked taxi for us from airport to apartment. Almost forgot, she allowed us early check in as our flight arrived at 8am without additional charges.

But what made our experience really special was Roberta — the host. She is one of the kindest and most genuine people we’ve met. 💛 From the first messages to the final day, she was always there for us — helpful, warm, and incredibly responsive. We had a few unexpected challenges during our vacation, and Roberta went above and beyond to help us solve them. She also gave us amazing local recommendations — from places to eat to hidden gems in the area — and every suggestion was spot on. We sincerely recommend staying here — not only for the comfort and beauty of the apartment, but for the care and heart that Roberta puts into everything. We had a wonderful experience staying in this lovely apartment. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Catania, close to everything yet peaceful and comfortable. The apartment itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. What truly made the stay exceptional, though, was our hostess, Roberta. She was incredibly kind and attentive, with so many thoughtful touches that made us feel truly welcome—from local snacks to helpful recommendations. A special highlight was the tasteful homemade breakfasts she prepared—delicious, beautifully presented, and a perfect start to the day. It’s clear she genuinely cares about her guests. Highly recommended—we would love to return!

Our host, Roberta, was amazing and went out of her way to help us

One night there were noise issues outside but I know Roberta will do what she can to deal with this.

Loved my accommodations especially the detail for everything. Room was really clean and so cheery. Roberta was wonderful. She packed a great to go breakfast. I especially appreciated her warmth and caring.

Location and entry, for me, was intimidating. It was a dark foyer seemingly for a scary movie. Plus I didn't understand the entry process. Fortunately the taxi person was helpful. I am older (82) so having to figure out all these new methods is a learning process. Roberta explained that the building had once been a palace for a wealthy man. In Catania space is limited for building hotels. Therefore, buildings as such are now being used for B and Bs.

What a jewel in Catania! Roberta went above and beyond in hosting us, with no attention or kindness spared. The room and bathroom are big, beautiful, and fully renovated; both have everything you could possibly need. The double windows/patio doors kept the noise from the street to a minimum. Breakfast is served in a cute nook with a large and diverse menu of options. The location is very good, i.e., you can easily walk from the train station (suitcase allowing) and into the city centre/basilica area. I had booked an excursion and the piazza for pick-up was just 20m away. The Bellini theatre is a 300 metres away, with many restaurants.

Roberta is an absolute gem. So helpful and caring. Always went out of her way helping with tours, transportation and recommendations re:restaurants, attractions etc. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Her staff very pleasant and the room was spotless. The opera house is minutes away. Took advantage and went to the symphony performance. The building the music the acoustics out of this world. Roberta’s location is within walking distance to all the major historical sites in the city.

The property was spotless! One of the best B&Bs we’ve stayed in. Beautiful decor, clean spacious room, secure building, amazing host and delicious breakfast! This is definitely the place to stay when visiting Catania. Central location, beautiful rooms and Roberta is just fabulous! She will offer you a warm welcome and prepare a delicious breakfast for you every day! You will never taste better scrambled eggs! Roberta gave us a map of the city and provided recommendations of what to visit! Lovely host who deserves nothing but 10/10 for offering such great experience! Thank you Roberta, we will be back!

Roberta the host is unstoppable! She is so nice and helpful! And the breakfast on this place is so good and fresh. The location is absolutely perfect! 2 minutes walk from Teatro Bellini and not even 5 minutes from the Piazza Duomo. So you’re comfortable, very very central in Catania, very very safe location (great for anyone including solo travellers) but not on a noise location so you can have peaceful nights. The apartments are in the 1st floor but there is an elevator anyway, which is great for arriving and departure with bags. Thanks for everything Roberta! I felt really welcome at Catania!
