Room quite cold. Breakfast availability could be a bit longer or at least be able to get bar food or light bites between 10.00am and 12..00. Reception area small and busy especially at checkin time and only 1 member of staff dealing with checkin.

The location is great, next to a bus station or walking distance from the center. The beds were comfortable. Hot water in the shower, clean towels and bedsheets. You get what you pay for. We stayed on the 3rd floor and we could not hear any noise from the bar downstairs, the blackout courtains are great.

The private rooms are very minimalistic, no tv, no water kettle, no amenities, no fridge, nothing. Everything feels "industrial" , from the way you open the window, the tables and the locker/closet, which can be either good or bad.

Staff was young, awesome in English, very friendly and clever and helped us with no matter how many questions we had! Thank you all so much. The room was very basic (two single beds, bathroom separated with drywall, not with its own roof(open air design) and not soundproof, but ok). However it was 100% clean, sheets also and without bedbugs, toilet paper there and hot water also.

-There were no tables, or even a small stand in the room. Just a small shelf together with the mirror and 2 repurposed nightstands (they probably used to be a wooden cable reel or something, but didnt provide us with too much security that our stuff wouldnt fall) -The hostel was 50-100 meters away from a train station and every few minutes (or half hour) it would pass and make noise. If Im not mistaken, it didnt pass through the night, so no problem with this. -The lightbulb of the room was too dim, and right across the room, there was a building with business offices, so we could not have the curtains open to enjoy the (minimal due to the cloudy weather) ambient light of Eindhoven and also have privacy.

Very pleased with my stay at Stayokay Hostel Eindhoven - Blue Collar. I highly recommend it for everyone traveling to Eindhoven, whether families, couples, or solo travelers.. The rooms are very clean, the bedding linen and towels are clean, bathrooms are clean, and overall the hostel has been newly repurposed (new management), and they are keen to make sure everyone is completely (if not exceedingly) happy with everything both in the Hostel, and in the Bar. On my last evening, I mistook a comment from one of the barmen that the bar would be open until at least midnight, which I took to mean the bar’s kitchen would also be open.. but when I came down for my snack of frites and a small glass of pilsner after 10pm, I was told the kitchen was closed — however, Brian, the food and beverage supervisor came to the rescue and told me he wasn’t a chef but he’d knew enough to make some frites, if I didn’t mind if they weren’t perfect, and I was super happy because I’d had my heart set on having something warm to eat after working in my room.. so, he made me comfortable, told me a tale while my frites were cooking and served them to me with mayonnaise AND ketchup! Yay!! They were great. Brian rescued me from an empty stomach late at night before my early flight the next morning, and I couldn’t have had a better sleep.. and my flight was good the next day too.

They’re still working on things, but overall, it’s a super great place to stay. The one thing I had mentioned to them is not everyone is either checked out, or out of their rooms, after 12 noon when the cleaners are going in and out of the rooms — because when the cleaners are doing this, the heavy doors tend to make a lot of noise in the hallways. They said they’re working on that, so on my next trip to Eindhoven and the next time I stay there, I’m sure they will have solved the door banging problem around noon or 1pm when some people are sleeping after a long flight..

The location is super convenient, as it's 20-30 mins away from the airport, the train station, and the city centre. Beyond that, it's a cool and unique area due to how they converted old factories into sweet new places such as this hostel. The staff were extremely friendly, the room was nice and had its own showers and toilets, plus there was a bar with it's own selection of food and drinks, and even a piano and arcade machine. This place deserves better reviews!

I hate criticising places that I like, and I admit that it may be simply bad timing on my part, but the room could've been cleaner, in terms of there still being some trash lying around, and certain parts still being dusty. I also didn't like the extra charges for the towels (which is why I didn't use that), even though it's not much, because of the fact that paying for €28 for a room per night, even with all the benefits of said room and the hostel, was too much for me. I admit that this could be a me issue as I'm almost broke, but still, little things add up on a traveller's budget. Also, I understand that repairs and maintenance have to happen at some point, but I thought that they were still a little too early for my liking.

I am satisfied with my stay, it met my expectations. The room was unusual, as I expected for a hostel in a former factory. But it had all the necessary amenities and the colourful wall created a wonderful mood. I truly enjoyed the bathroom - a cube built into the room, but with everything you need for a bathroom and toilet. The ceilings are high, but I did not experience any difficulties with insufficient heating, and the weather was warm. The staff was attentive and kind.

The lamp wasn't bright enough for such a large room.

The hotel is situated in a former factory, so the interior can look rustic, which I think is part of the experience. The branding of the hotel is also quite strategic and unique, it screamed youthful and artsy at the same time. Our room was gigantic (contributed by the high ceiling), and the amenities was quite complete, with a locker in the room. The location is fantastic, especially if you have a flight from the Eindhoven airport, since the bus to the airport has a stop very near to the hotel. There is also a supermarket nearby.

The room was a bit cold despite having the radiator at max; it was okay for me, but not for my elderly parents. It was probably a combination of the old window-closing mechanism (we felt a draft sometimes) and the fact that there was only one radiator under the window despite the room being quite big. The bathroom was okay but the soap dispenser is strangely outside the shower area.

Funky hotel in former industrial space with the iconic Phillips clock in view. Huge room with high ceilings. Great bar downstairs with really friendly Irish manager who couldn't do enough for us. Woman on reception was also really friendly. Underground car park one minute away. Really comfortable bed. Near to the motorway for easy continuation of journey.

The menu in the bar/restaurant is very limited - burgers (including veggie burger) or nacos. They offer toasted sandwiches at lunch time but not in the evening which is a shame, if you don't want a huge calorific meal. But we were aware of that before so had had a large lunch. People may not like that it is next to a railway line so you can hear the trains, but they are not noisy and didn't disturb us. Another part of the complex is a music theatre so you may want to check whether a concert will be on the nights you stay there. Can't say if that would disturb guests or not.

Bar area was excellent. Great selection of drinks, good atmosphere, friendly staff and cool decor.

Room was functional but more than adequate, only area which could be improved was the bathroom "cube" as it was very basic although it is probably difficult to add an en-suite to an old industrial building like this.

The bed is confie and the sheets are crispy clean. There are towels in the room, too. Change of towels every day.

The room is rather cold, especially during the night. It can be noisy outside late at night as there is a pub below. The lighting should be better.
