Very nice room -clean, modern, comfortable bed. Friendly staff at the reception and in the restaurant. Breakfast ok -standard continental

only 1 free socket and it's placed under the desk bathroom is quite dark (something to consider is you plan to put extended make up on) with window open even on the 16th floor there is a lot of street noise (if your room is faced towards the city center) Buffet at breakfast was not refilled fast enough -for example boiled eggs were finished, so the cook gave us some cold ones from the fridge, coffee from the machine was awful (no surprise the I guess)

The close proximity to the Eidanhoven station, spacious room & free laundry facility were really good

At the time of check - out, we were asked to pay the city tax, which we had already paid at the time of check-in. The receptionist said it was not appearing in the system. Hence, spent time and money on overseas calls to the bank to check about the payment that had already been debited. This was a good lesson for us to keep payment receipts (hard copy) until the time of check out.

It's a vibrant hotel right in the centre of Eindhoven, with colourful decor and a young force of staff members who are willing to help! I really like the unusual style of the hotel, it gives it its own character. My room was located on the 19th floor, so I had a good night's sleep away from the streets below. The breakfast is abundant and consists of continental and cooked options. The fitness centre is well equipped and there is also a games room on the same floor.

The main entrance is not that conspicuous, it's a small, extremely heavy door that has to be pulled outwards (not your typical revolving door hotel entrance). Also, the reception area is very small and narrow and offers no seating options for guests who are waiting for a taxi or queuing at the reception. But the bar/restaurant area has comfortable seating and also another entrance to the hotel.

The staff was amazing, helped us a lot in a situation where we needed a room for one night and all the other hotels in Eindhoven were fully booked, including them. Besides that, the hotel is not even a one minute walk from the central station. The room was amazing! Clean, spatious, equipped with everything that you would need, even a free mini bar. Not to mention, the room also had an amazing view to the city! There’s also a restaurant on the first floor that offers decent food, and again very friendly staff! Overall, it was an amazing experience even though the night was full of unexpected unpleasant events.

Great design, furniture and modern appliances. Nice favours such as mini stoopwaffles and selection of teas + real coffee machine. A choice of soft lighting to make it a relaxing evening. The karaoke night in the bar seemed to be in full swing when I returned in the evening which was cool to see. Social hub by name and in action! I’ve stayed in their chain in Glasgow as well and it’s a great standard across the board.

It was a very cold night and I appreciate the “think green” attitude but I’d have liked to have been able to have warmed the large room better. Same goes for the shower temp, I couldn’t really get it hot enough for my tastes, but these are v minor issues.

It's a super nice place, in front of the central station and close to everything in the city center. They upgraded our room for free, and gave us a glass of wine upon arrival and coffee when we left. The view is amazing. The room is big and very clean. The staff is super super nice!

The shower flooded all the bathroom and then it was difficult to get inside. There was only 1 night stand, on the other side the closet, but the closet could easily be in another place because the room was pretty big. The TV was also outdated but nothing so important.

Queen bedroom: -staff was super friendly and helpfull at the reception -Quiet, was worried about noise for this building being a student accommodation too I believe, but all good! (Our room was on the 18th floor) -Cleaniness of the room. -We liked the coffee (nespresso) machine including coffee pods, free of charge water bottles (and were replenned every time we finished one) -Provided: shampoo, conditioner, showergel, hand-wash, hand cream. -Hairdryer is a must for me and was available. -perfect location, lovely view We didn't opt for the breakfast so cant feedback on that (think it was around 15 euro a person) as we personally always prefer to eat elsewhere. I assumed the breakfast would be the standard egg, ham, cheese, bread, juice and yoghurt >_< Would suggest to try The Happiness Cafe which is only about a 7 mins walk from the Social Hub.

I don't have any major complaints at all, just a suggestion if at all possible to add more hooks/hangers in the bathroom. There was only 1 and it would be more convenient to have more to hang our towels. The shower drain was a bit blocked...

Fab location right next to the central train station and walkable to the centre in 5 min, so ideal if travelling to/from the city by train. Well equipped and well-lit gym + easy to use and free laundry facilities were great. Good selection of pillows, including a super small and flat pillow (which is rare and which suits me!).

Temperature in room not easy to control. Shower door not long enough so water sprays out. Cups in room weren’t replaced for 2 days straight but front desk very helpful when raised.

The location of the hotel was nice. Many staff were very friendly. I mean most of them. Specially liked Ms Kim at the front desk/reception, she was willing to take additional steps to keep the customer happy. She really needs a pay rise :-)

One lady at the reception not sure of her name but looked more of a Chinese origin, her interaction with Asians was not great. I did see that couple of times when at the reception she interacted with us(Asians ) and maybe others(Europeans/Westeners), there was a mark difference. She has a grin face interacting with us and its different with them. The room cleaning staff, really did not work on the toilets or the carpets in the room on a daily basis. They did just the bed. Also, suggest having more of the coffee, tea, sugar sachets in the room. When asked, were given just one or two of them.

A very young atmosphere The hotel is basically used as a hotel for students, but also a for regular casual travelers. its atmosphere young, trying to combine top hotel with a student gestahouse feel, this is how the staff behaves. At times it feels dormitory atmosphere in a good way.. They were super nice, the rooms are beautiful and relatively large, and the location right outside the train is excellent in my opinion.

i do believe its is over priced, for this kind of a hotel...in this city... if this hotel for students its for super rich students. but if people are paying....good for them
