We really loved our stay at Hotel Mariënhage, it's great value for money. The room was absolutely beautiful and well equipped. We particularly loved the attention to detail such as the dimmable lights, the coffee machine, the television, the comfortable bathroom and beautiful decoration. Our room had very handy storage in the entrance so even if the room was not huge it didn't feel cluttered.

When we arrived we were told our room was ready but the cleaning crew wasn't done with our room yet so we had to wait. The cleaning crew was very friendly and helpful though as they sorted out a problem with our room. It can get quite cold in the winter and it would be nice to have some extra blankets at hand for those who don't wish to sleep with the heating on. The ventilation system is also quite loud and didn't seem to stop even when turned off. But these are small details and all in all I think our stay was great!

The hotel is stunning and I loved how they kept the exterior while providing rooms with all the comforts. The area is quiet but very central, we booked it for one night for a concert at the Arena nearby - a 5-minute walk from the hotel.

The staff was friendly and very accommodating except a lady at the reception who dismissed us when we asked for an early check in and was not very nice to us. Eventually, we were allowed in the room 30 minutes early by another colleague of hers and we appreciated it greatly. I get that every now and then a person has a bad day so this minor issue did not impact out stay too much.

Hotel Mariënhage is a beautiful and modern property, everything feels very new, with stylish interiors and a clean, well-maintained environment throughout. The design is tasteful and contemporary, making the stay feel elevated and comfortable. I also really appreciated the location; it’s conveniently situated within walking distance to key spots in Eindhoven, which made getting around super easy. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

Honestly, nothing serious, everything about the property was great. If I had to pick something, it would just be the price. But then again, who doesn’t wish for a cheaper stay? That said, the quality and experience definitely matched the cost.

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Location to town was excellent too and the staff were friendly. The outdoor car park was relatively easily accessible.

Breakfast was not good enough for a hotel of this standard. The quality of the cooked food was average at best, the choice was limited, the dining area was dirty (sticky floor from spilt drinks the night before, food still under the tables from the day before), the surface areas from on which the food was displayed had spillages in them, the crockery was chipped. Just a general lack of attention to detail, and it was too much for the single member of staff to stay on top of. The fresh orange juice was good. We wouldn’t pay for inclusive breakfast next time.

The rooms are really nice and comfortable, everything seems pretty new, there is a small spa area with saunas, you can book a timeslot to use it for free, the location is good and quiet

The room ventilation and temperature regulations are really bad, you can't open a window and in the night it gets really cold, even if you put the temperature higher the heating starts and after some time cold air is coming again, they should fix there temperature system, Staff is nice but they don't inform you mich, you have to ask everything

The location was great, the room aesthetic was nice, and most of the staff were friendly and helpful. Specially Jordi – he was the best

The rooms were clean at first, but after staying for about two months, they got really dirty and super dusty. I have asthma, and the dust made it really hard for me to breathe. We asked for cleaning several times, but nothing really changed, and they barely changed the sheets either. It was really disappointing how little effort was put into keeping things clean.

Interesting converted hotel from a previous monastery. Lovely room and our view of the internal courtyard was lovely. Staff at reception were extremely helpful and attentive whenever we needed anything. The location of the hotel was quite central so within easy walking distance to the centre. Would highly recommend.

Housekeeping was a little hit and miss. For example, they kept forgetting to check our soap dispensers, toilet tissues or coffee pods were topped up. Or giving us clean mugs each day. But the reception staff were really helpful and made up for it.

The property is modern and unique architecture in a good way. Beautiful grounds for fresh air and meandering. A convenient parking to the back entry for pick up and drop off. The bar area is cozy and has great seating and decor. The menu looked delicious. I will try next visit The rooms have great beds. The decor and room sizes vary and are so interesting. Quality furnishings and finishing, with a bit of whimsy.Large windows all with a lovely view. Best service from Alexander(?) at the desk. He carried my bags and was so helpful and positive at every question or request.

Stairs. Lobby too open if you wanted to read or just relax instead of staying in your room. Former set up (as per photos) was in a niche area that looked cozier. The reading table could be elsewhere. In short, limited lobby furniture. Also the bar is a little intimidating to enter just to find an area to relax. The hotel seems to attract short stay conferences ie business people. Not a diverse clientele. The bath is too dark to to hair and makeup. I had to move to desk area. The amenities are on a sub ground area and locked. You need an appointment. They should promote much better re spa. I wouldn’t book if I couldn’t the see the products etc first. Need a hub of activity. Bit too quiet/churchy

Beautiful location, cool art and clean facilities. The art got be looking up whilst in my room so this was a nice touch.

I wasn't given any instructions on accessing the spa/sauna facilities. I also didn't ask but didn't see any leaflet or pointers on which app to book it. I'll give it a look for my next stay, which will be longer! It would have been nice to be given indications ahead of time, especially since it was mentioned in the booking confirmation email as a "complimentary."

The building itself is very nice and they managed to make a new and modern hotel out of an old monastery. The breakfast was very good and worth the money.

Unfortunately we had a hard time sleeping because of the ventilation in the room that can't be stopped and the air is hitting your head directly while resting in bed. But that was my personal experience and probably not everyone will have the same problem sleeping. And another inconvenient thing was that I couldn't open the window in the room that I stayed in because it was locked with a big plexiglass so I couldn't enjoy the fresh air.
