Our rooms were in the annex across the road with parking available. They were well appointed and in a quiet area. There are rooms on the ground level and first floor (without a lift) so perhaps difficult for anyone with mobility problems. The restaurant in the main building was comfortable and well furnished. We particularly like the statues of the horse there and the one made from horseshoes outside the hotel. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice as were the evening meals in the restaurant. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful.

We were looking for a hotel that was handy for the Ouistreham ferry early next morning. This fitted the bill perfectly as it was only a 15-minute ride along the riverside to the port. The room was modern, clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. There are some shops and cafes nearby and Pegasus bridge is just a few minutes walk away. We were able to lock our bikes to the steel stairs in the rear courtyard, which was pretty safe. Unfortunately we had to leave before breakfast was served so we can't comment on that.

Easy to find, good parking and perfect for our trips to the Normandy beaches Staff friendly and range of food for dinner good well prepared and full of flavour. The staff were friendly , bed room basic but clean and for great night sleep. Despite being on the road there was little road noise. We will stay again next time we come to Normandy.

Not so much a didn’t like but a surprise on the Thursday night that the hotel was closing for day on Friday! But as we had paid until Saturday we could stay but no food or drink available nor beds made or towels refreshed. When I asked the manager for a reason, he said that the hotel would be closed for Friday but not given say reason by the owner,

This was our second stay at this hotel. We purposely caught an early morning ferry so we could stay here and eat at the restaurant on the last night of our holiday. The food was amazing last year when we stayed and this year did not disappoint. Our stay here made for a lovely end to our holiday. I have to be honest and say that we rarely stay in two star hotels but this is really good for a two star hotel, the food is amazing and its a ten minute drive to the ferry port. Our room was large, very clean and did not feel like a two star hotel. Bed was comfortable. We will always stay here whenever we need a hotel in this area. Practical note: there is lots of parking at the hotel and on the road.

There is nothing to dislike.

Location perfect for coming off the ferry late, parking very close to our room, level access for our room, helpful staff, everything was really straightforward and just what we needed. Travel cot set up in room for us on arrival.

Minimal street lighting in the village and hotel car park could be a little challenging when arriving after dark. Main car park quite tight to navigate in a van but helpful staff member noticed and advised us to park in a spot we wouldn't have considered.

The location of the hotel was excellent for ease of access to port of Ousterheim for early morning ferry. The room in the hotel looked newly renovated and was very clean. The receptionist was very accommodating and pleasant. Parking all around the hotel was very good, and the hotel had a good private car park. Did not eat breakfast in the hotel due to early crossing. Great too to be able to walk to Pegasus bridge. Would use again if we needed to get an early boat.

Pretty hotel in the heart of the village with free private parking. Comfortable bed. We were only there for one night for an early ferry departure so we did not have any meals there or use the spa facilities.

Our room was a little noisy being on the ground floor next to the street but thankfully things quieted down overnight. We had problems with the wifi never connecting despite following the instructions in the room.

The room was clean and comfortable, plenty of storage space, good large shower, plenty of parking off road. Overall very pleased with the hotel, I would definitely stay again.

One very small pillow per person with hardly any filling. No kettle. The two coffee pod's supplied weren't replaced every day. Badly fitted shower door, leaked water on the floor.

The room was lovely but there was no curtains on the window so no privacy in the main room. There was a shutter but it would not come down or open. We had to drape a towel over the window to allow some privacy and to b lock out daylight. The Restaurant was not open on the evening of Sunday which we were not aware of. Otherwise we would have eaten in the hotel. This was a shame as it was one of the reasons we selected to stay in this hotel.

Great experience all the way around. Clean, very conveniently located, delicious breakfast (lots of variety), a very nice restaurant onsite, and a wonderful, helpful staff. This in one of several places we stayed on a 14-day D-Day focused trip, it was one of the best. I would not hesitate to stay there again. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to stay near Pegasus Bridge. Fantastic!!!
