Kindly greeted on arrival, shown to our room and given a map of recommendations picked by our hosts, which was a nice personal touch. Room was very clean and cosy, the beds were so comfy, we had the best sleep! The shower was amazing and we especially loved the Led light up mirror, that was a fancy touch! Cleanliness of bathroom was 10/10. Overall, amazing stay, friendly hosts and perfect location. If we are looking for a hotel in the area again, we will definitely choose Hotel 50!

We had a great stay. Matt & Mel were the perfect hosts. Spotlessly clean from top to bottom. We booked 2 rooms, both of which were lovely, both had comfy beds, nicely sized, great powerful showers. A fantastic choice for breakfast with quality foods & a cooked breakfast to order (via a sheet which we were asked kindly to fill in the previous evening) We were not rushed when eating & not rushed to vacate our rooms on departure day. Mel gave us lots of ideas for places to eat & things to do. Not far from anywhere location. We would definitely stay again. Perfect

Was greeted with a warm welcome and given keys to front door and shown to our room. The room was an ideal size just for the two people with two single beds and a lovely en-suite. Property very clean and within walking distance of the beach and shopping , a great little find.

The only thing was parking as this did not come with the room we booked, but a 24 hr car park around the corner for around £6.

Property is very clean, better than the picture. All amenities were provided, smells good, clean and get tidied up everyday. Breakfast is perfect, so many options to choose from. I forgot to hand in my breakfast form, but they still offered and cooked me one. They also gave me recommendations of places to visit and the best time to go there, which is very spot on. Hospitality is top notch! What amazes me is that they use green energy from solar panels. They also have a spacious parking space.

I was offered breakfast on each of the 3 days of my stay. I didn't need this but was very glad it was available. Tea, coffee etc were freely available in my room and atop the thoughtfully placed fridge in the hallway.

There were no aspects of my stay that were lacking in any way. Mel made me feel so welcome that I knew I could ask and she'd be there to help.

This place is fantastic, Mel is a fantastic host, nothing to much trouble , made us feel extremely welcome, so kind . Hotel it’s self is spotless we had breakfast sandwich to go it was delicious also yogurt & juice carton they literally think of everything. Location really good near beach bit steep hill walking back to town with plenty of eating places& takeaways few mins walk. We’d definitely recommend staying here such great value for money . Everything clean ,modern, fab owners, good size parking spaces, location excellent.

Big thanks for Matt and Mell! Amazing hosts. Ready to help any time. We received plenty advices about how or where to spend nice time. Hotel is located a few minutes walk to the beach also few minutes to high street shops and restaurants. Rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast variations surprised us too. Highly recommend.

Cant believe this is only a 3 star hotel. The rooms were done to a high standard with everything you could possibly need. Matt and Mel are such a lovely couple. This definitely had a 5 star feel to the whole experience. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect no faults

Perfect location for me - close to station and Vitality Stadium Friendly welcome. Very personable, made me feel at home. Comfortable and tastefully furnished room. Good wifi. Tea, coffee & Biscuits in room and use of fridge on landing was perfect for me Decent shower - loads of plug sockets for chargers .... Local information available had I needed it. Breakfast made to order ... fantastic full English and more. Really excellent.
