Lovely room, good location, and brilliant staff, esp. Amy who did a fantastic job of running the breakfast room with a smile on her face each morning despite the pressures of looking after a packed room. The location wad handy for the beach, not too far from town, and had good bus connections.

Possibly, the shower / en suite area needed updating, and the omelette breakfast looked a little bare - a few hash browns, beans, and/or a slice of crusty bread would have been a nice touch. It was still delicious, though. Car parking felt a bit hit'n'miss.

We arrived to a warm welcome and our room was gorgeous. Really stylish and a spacious bathroom with excellent shower. Lovely touch of a teapot with the kettle etc. It is a lovely Victorian building with spacious rooms. It was very relaxing and comfortable and there was good parking. It's a short walk down through Boscombe Chine and along the front to town. The bus also stops close by. We enjoyed the breakfast, excellent quality sausage and bacon etc beautifully cooked and presented and our waitress was friendly. Can't recommend it highly enough. This is one of the best places we've ever stayed, hands down. Thank you.

Everything was exceptionally perfect. Breakfast was amazing; our room was brilliant and kept exceptionally clean. The entire staff at this beautiful hotel have to be congratulated for their efficiency and total professionalism in what they do, hence the well deserved 5 stars ( we'd give them 100 stars!). Thank you Harps and Ricky for allowing us to stay, and in particular for arranging for the most beautiful bouquet of flowers to be delivered for my wife's Birthday. Thank you also to Magda who looked after us so well at breakfast each morning, and to Amy too. Next time we visit Bournemouth we will definitely be booking into this amazing hotel.

I had an absolutely delightful stay at Balincourt, where the fantastic hosts made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The room was impeccably clean and tidy, offering a peaceful retreat after my daily adventures. And oh, the breakfast! It was truly to die for, with every dish meticulously prepared and bursting with flavor. The attention to detail and warm hospitality made my experience unforgettable, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. I will definitely be back!

Quiet, couldn’t hear any noise. Lovely friendly staff. The building. Massive room with an enormous walk in shower/wet room

Although the room was massive there was no coffee table to enable you to sit in chairs. Had to sit on bed, not a massive problem but would just be the finishing touch. Car park needs expanding, would benefit from losing the flower bed to give extra width. Which would still leave a large lawned area and space to continue with getting awards for flowers displays.

Upon arrival we were greeted by a staff lady who kindly helped us to our room and even helped carry our luggage, the room was absolutely spotless, so clean and tidy and looked just as the photos had shown. Comfy bed, lovely bathroom, everything you would expect. Every guest was asked what time slot they would like breakfast which helped meet our needs to eat early and at the quietest time, good selection for breakfast, my girlfriend who is vegan was perfectly happy to have toast and jams every morning and i was happy to have the amazing english breakfast. Service was great, super fast, no problems with the food. Great location to attend a gig at the O2 Academy in boscombe, also was a fine walk into Bournemouth town.

Beautiful little place, with spacious rooms that were very clean. Little chocolates which were a nice touch. Spacious bathroom which was always heated. Fantastic breakfast and the lady serving was so lovely. Choice was really good and plentiful. I imagine the garden in summer would be extremely pretty as in the picture. Everything was as promised and we have really enjoyed our stay. Host was lovely too, nothing seems to be too much trouble and the poached egg was gorgeous 😊

Reception, cleaning, lots of in room coffee,tea,biscuits renewed daily. Rooms have high ceilings, well soundproofed. Nice bar area, small but comfy common TV room. Room had four chairs, large bed, very clean, all staff were very helpful. breakfast was very comprehensive, served quickly. It is about a mile from the city center, and even nearer to the beach, fine location.

The TV was fine, well positioned but was really only Freeview. OK for BBC1 etc. Picture/sound quality was good. This is not a deal maker unless you plan on staying in the room a lot.

Really good location. Room was nicely decorated. Good selection of teas on the room tray and bottles of water provided which was a nice touch. Breakfast choice was very good and the food was excellent. Lady who served our breakfast was very efficient and pleasant.

The shower temperature control was stuck on scalding. Had to get the owner to come and sort it out. They seemed to be aware that it was a recurrent problem and looking at some other reviews similar shower problems have been mentioned. Also had a super king bed but bottom sheet was too small and couldn’t be kept in place.

Our room was very spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfy. The bed was a delight. Tea/coffee making was available, together with biscuits. Bottled water was replenished daily. The bathroom was exceptional, great shower.

We only stayed a couple of nights, I think we would have struggled if staying for much longer with storage for clothes, very small wardrobe and only one set of very small drawers. The room was very large and had capacity for more storage.
