Website not very easy to use so did not book my preferred type of accommodation

Check in and out was smooth, on-site parking was £10 per night probably 20-30 spaces - I never had a problem parking. Room was compact as described and bathroom was a tight squeeze but perfect for a solo traveller, they provide hand/body wash and shampoo. The bed was very comfy and aircon was superb, tea and coffee refilled each day, room cleaned/tidied each day, one USB port with a couple of plug sockets I didn't eat at the venue. It's about a brisk10 minute walk from East Cliff Zig Zag or 15mins to Bournemouth Pier

I think the property needs to be upfront about the swimming pool as it's clearly been out of order for some time and ensure 3rd party sites remove it from the facilities list until it is regularly available. I chose it as a filter, not sure I would have booked the property at the price asked without the pool

Very modern, close to the town centre and beach, was only a 10 minute walk into town. You can see that it has recently been refurbished (and they are refurbishing the hotel in general) but it looked really nice

Our room was lovely but it was right next door to a staff room so when they came in and out the door slammed and it did wake us up. There was also a lot of noise in the room at times - we think it was the air conditioning unit and the drainage system as every time we flushed the toilet there was a loud noise.

The property was clean in all areas and we loved our room and our bed was comfortable. We loved the location. barely 8 minutes walk to the town, so shops near by and not far from the beach, but be aware it’s down the cliff so you have to walk down steps. However, there is a walk way leading to the Pier or you can walk straight down the road that also leads to the Pier.

I didn’t like the fact that one reason we chose this hotel is because it had a swimming pool, but it was closed for maintenance during our stay and yet we were not informed until I asked about the pool in a message before getting there. We would have preferred having the choice to have a cooked breakfast, but the Continental breakfast was okay. We didn’t like the fact we requested an early check in on Booking.com and was sent a message stating it was approved but when we arrived for 1:00 pm our room was not ready and we had too wait until 3:00 pm.

First of all, we were upgraded to a bigger family room upon checkin in which we were so delighted to learn. It got a fridge, microwave and cutleries with wider space and great access to car park. The beds were comfortable. Room though was hot but the AC helped cool down a bit. Staff were friendly.

hotel was not easy to find, it was concealed behind tall trees. Parts of the car path around the hotel got potholes. The included breakfast was not satisfying. The choices were very very limited. I stayed at another Ibis style hotel up north and the facilities were amazing.

Spacious room with large bed. Nice and clean room and shower room. The location is fantastic. There are plenty of clean towels. The bedding was nice and clean.

The room has just a bed and 2 armchairs. There is a small coffee table. There is no furniture for clothes. And no table. Just big carpet. There were 2 bedside tables for the phones. The breakfast is very limited and I couldn't get cooked eggs. Just fried eggs only. The waiter had other eggs for some other child, but he had to convince the chef to do it. Chef doesn't want to do something different as he's stubborn. That's what I've been told.

Beautifully decorated , clean hotel. Parking onsite. Room was comfortable and we slept very well. Love the ice cream theme.

I don’t think the staff are very motivated. I get a feeling this is more a training issue rather than their problem. The one guy on reception was very helpful when I lost my phone. He also moved me because the aircon wasn’t working well. But the other receptionist was at best grumpy and I just felt it was an effort for her to say anything helpful. The rest of the staff seemed to lack confidence and people skills. Such a great hotel so a friendlier vibe would make it pretty close to exceptional. The breakfast was average. The hot food was dried up and not . Could’ve been better with some hash browns and mushrooms perhaps. But it was clean and the tea and coffee were good quality.

This was our 1st time at this hotel for me & my teenage son. Our stay was so lovely. Friendly staff, great cosy room with modern decor & most of all VERY clean throughout. Cleanliness is the 1st thing I look for when booking a hotel. The decor throughout the hotel is very quirky icecream theme from the carpets to the bed headboard. The reception area is very cosy & a lovely area to sit in. Also great breakfast with lots of choice. Great location with short walk to beach. Would highly recommend this hotel We will definitely be staying here again. 👌

No lift working..which we were not told about when booking!!? So had to carry heavy suitcases up 4 flights of stairs..not good,on the hottest day of the year!! Breakfast was average Curled up bits of cheese & ham Undercooked sausages & bacon Scrambled egg was a mixture of burntin places & raw in others..would not bother with breakfast again

Gorgeous hotel! Loved every minute 😊 travelled with my 5 year old daughter. Hotel decor is fab, lots of fun colours and designs for my daughter which she enjoyed! We had a family room with a sofabed which was really spacious. I ended up sleeping in the king size bed with her which was so comfortable. Room was warm and the decor was so nice. Loved the hotel pool, so nice and warm my daughter loved it! Location of the hotel is perfect, a short 8 min walk to restaurants and a 4 min drive to a beautiful beach. Parking on site for £10 a day which is reasonable. Paid for a room which included buffet breakfast. Had a full English which was really tasty and my daughter had beans on toast with some croissants and pain au chocolat. Really enjoyed! Staff were so helpful and friendly. Would definitely come again!
