The staff were very Friendly and helpful. The lady at the desk told us which buses to use to get into town as she could see my mobility is limited. She lent us a hair dryer because I'd forgotten mine. The room and wet room were great. It made my holiday not having to stress about bathing. The recliners in the room were a great addition, very comfortable.

The only thing that could help would be a fridge in the room to put our water bottles in. We were lucky with the weather as it was hot, but not having a fridge was a bit of a blow because we had no chance of keeping our refillable bottles chilled.

Upon arrival we were pleasntly surprised to find a reserved parking space in my name right by the main entrance which, as I have a walking disability, was a fantastic start to our stay. Eoin (I'm sure thats not how its spelt) was very welcoming and couldn't do more for us on arrival. The room we were given was spotless and well appointed and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and varied and again the dining room staff were lovely. All round we had a very nice stay and will definately stay again.

If I had to find something, the bathroom layout in my room was odd The wall mirror is positioned over the toilet bowl which prevents its use for wet shaving. If the sink and toilet positions were swapped it would make more sense, but as the bathroom is a "wet room" it may be difficult to do now. Perhaps a large round shaving mirror on the window shelf above the sink would suffice and be a much less expensive fix. but I'm being picky as I use an electric shaver!

Very lovely hotel. Close to the beach. Quiet and warm room. They have a lift what is OK if you have heavy luggage as we had. Comfortable bed and armchair. Walking distance for bus stop and close to the train station.

Shower water wasn't warm enough what in early March is not comfortable. Bathroom very clean but in style for elderly/disability people.

Location was very good. Less than 10 minute walk to the seafront, pier, restaurants and the Pavillion theatre. Requested a soft mattress and it was luxurious. The cleanliness of the whole hotel including our room was exceptional. Roberto on reception was so positive and helpful. He made our first impression of him and the hotel a very good one. Other staff were friendly. Breakfast can be ordered and paid for the night before if required. There is a lift and stairs.

There isn't enough parking. It is first come first served, but this is mentioned on their own site. Book parking directly with the hotel and get free parking. Shower was very small

We liked the Grove Hotel because it had a good feel to it and is nice & spacious. All the staff were welcoming & helpful. The rooms were clean and the facilities overall were very good. Would recommend.

Beds pushed together. Breakfast could have been hotter . Limited parking space. And wasn't aware of car parking fees.

recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I can't say enough good things about my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained the entire property is. The rooms are not just clean; they are spacious, allowing for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The bedding was immaculate, and the beds themselves were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to unwind after a long day. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the rooms looked even better in person than they do in the photos on the hotel website; they truly do not do justice to how inviting and cozy the accommodations are. A special shoutout to Ion, the reception manager, whose professionalism and helpfulness made my stay even more enjoyable. He was genuinely fantastic and went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect. Lastly, the hotel is located in a serene and quiet area, which made for a peaceful night's sleep. Overall, my experience was exceptional, and I can't recommend this hotel enough for anyone looking for a cozy and comfortable getaway. I will definitely be back!

Location was excellent ! It was our first visit to Bournemouth due to an event . Roberto & Creda on reception gave us a very warm welcome ! They explained all what we wanted to know . They both deserve 5 Stars !! Thank You ! We will return !

Just a little niggle, I was awoken at 3AM with the two men who were staying either next door or below us , and tgey could be heard talking and laughing loudly ! I called the reception . It was resolved . Roberto told us in the morning that this will be looked into .

We spent the bank holiday weekend at The Grove in Bournemouth and absolutely loved it. Our room was spotless, super comfortable, and so quiet – we slept wonderfully! But what really made our stay unforgettable were Reddy and Roberto from the staff. They were so kind, funny, and welcoming that we instantly felt at home. Their genuine warmth and care turned a lovely stay into a truly special one. We loved everything!

Location wise it is perfect. It is close to both bournemouth pier and the city centre. Has clean rooms. If you do not want to use hotels parking area you can also use other parking areas close to hotel and parking prices are good for 24 hours parking. Price is really good.it has a fair breakfast option and hotel staff are friendly.

We went in warm weather however if you go in a time where the temperature goes over 25, the rooms might be too hot to stay in day time.( Still there are fans located in the rooms only there are no central cooling

Cleanliness , Friendly attentive staff, Good sized Room, Great supply of hot water , nice gardens and lounge / conservatory and good quality Breakfast.

I feel Darker blackout curtains are needed in the bedroom as the light came through quite early and having no curtain or blind in the bathroom the rear car park light was on all night causing light to come through under the door and the location of the room did attract some noise from outside traffic and the were a few noisier guests in surrounding rooms ( which the hotel had no control over)
