The hotel is a little tired looking but if you can put aside the minor decor and maintenance issues the standard of daily house keeping is high. My room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is in a quieter part of Bournemouth with low levels of passing traffic and generally peaceful. The small indoor pool is great for a quick swim. There is a small but well maintained garden where you can sit out and have a drink. It's a 2 mins walk to the steps leading down to the quieter end of East Cliff Beach; the interesting Russell-Coates Museum is a 6 min walk and the pier a 10 min walk.

There is no information leaflet about breakfast times, bar and pool opening times in the room so you have to go down to reception if you want any information. The TV works via APPS and I was told you need to pay.

Location spot on, a short stroll to the top of the road to the front, down steps (a fair few) onto the beach and you can easily walk up to the pier, beach also has a footpath. Great value for money, spacious rooms, big comfortable bed, air con and hot water, shower over a bath. One of us used the swimming pool and she was impressed how quiet it was. Bar and breakfast area decor was lovely, art deco style. We all really enjoyed the breakfast, plenty to choose from and staff were super friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble.

Doesn't matter to me but just the paint could do with a refresh in the rooms and the carpet had some marks.. but didn't effect our stay, rooms were clean.

The Queens Hotel & Spa boasts a wonderful location, just a few minutes stroll from the golden sandy beach and within easy walking distance of the town centre. Its setting makes it perfect for both relaxation and exploration. The staff provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with a special mention to Nunzio for his friendliness and helpfulness. I also have to mention the spa staff as they were also amazing. Overall all the staff contributed greatly to the positive experience I had. Travelling alone, I was looking for a hotel to help me relax, unwind and recharge which I found at the Queens Hotel & Spa. The indoor pool area is tranquil and beautifully decorated. The spa treatments enhanced the sense of relaxation and wellbeing and I highly recommend them. Breakfast offered an impressive selection of foods, I felt totally spoilt for choice. The experience at the Queens Hotel & Spa leaves a lasting positive impression, inspiring me to return soon for my next break. Thank you all at the Queens Hotel & Spa for making my break so special.

Dinner menu could have more choices, maybe veggie friendly recipes asides from this everything was perfect.

Nice amount of space with lots of light. Comfy single bed. Massage was amazing and helped my bad back. Sauna and jacuzzi was lovely.

Air conditioning was stuck on 16° but was hot so ok but needs fixing. No towel changes even tho requested. Asked for an iron every day for 3 days and finally arrived the day we left. Pool is seriously cold definitely not 27° as stated by guy doing chemical level checks. Hotel needs some tlc overall as few things shabby like bathroom is tatty but functional, the extractor fan didn’t work in bathroom also.

There were various tramps and questionable characters sitting on outside the hotel and in the hotel garden. I felt compelled to make sure my car was empty.

Overall it was great. Poll is nice with the sauna and jacuzzi both working. The gym is a little space and could use updating but it's there if you need a quick half hour workout. Breakfast was exquisite with plenty of choice and the staff were always bubbly and talkative and an added bonus was it was served from 06:30am. The bar is nice, priced okay if a little expensive on a few items but it makes up for it in comfort and the garden. The room was extremely spacious as we had the privilege suite with walk in shower. Only down Side were the make up staff as our room was missed and the Nespresso coffee machine was never stocked with capsules in order to use yet we got espresso cups when the room was re done. Can't knock the staff for making up for it though when mentioned as we had new towels and was restocked that evening with no trouble at all. All in all we will be staying again next year for sure. 5*

Just the make up staff and the fact that the room was not made up when requested and the sign was changed on the door. Overall though I'd say it's one of if not the best place to stay around that area.

You have to pay so much for parking there, I would expect that to be part of the price you’ve already paid. The room was a little battered and bruised

9/10 Staff especially Josh went above and beyond for us. Spa is fine, has a working sauna, decent showers and a small pool. We typically dont eat breakfast but we stayed an extra day and it was included - it was the best tasting breakfast we have had from our stays at hotels. We paid around £60ish per night and that is extremely good value

Barman on Thursday - i wanted a bin to put some rubbish after eating snacks in the garden, he took the rubbish but stated that these items were not bought at the bar! Well yeh! they were a quick snack that we had before bed! - Would he have preferred we leave it in the garden?

Every single member of staff had a smile on their face and were so very helpful. We had a Superior Double room and it was spotlessly clean. The housekeeping staff even went out of their way to add a few very nice touches as it was our wedding anniversary. A special thanks to Victoria who couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel decor is modern and very relaxing and continues to be upgraded to a very good standard. The pool in the Spa was very clean. We didn't use the restaurants so can't comment on the food. There are so many really good beach restaurants for breakfast and dinner nearby.

Parking costs are high but we soon found that all parking around Bournemouth is high!

Location is good, quiet area no problem to sleep. Room spacious and clean, housekeeping good. Breakfast excellent, always hot and a good variety if full English is not what you want. Dining room well managed not kept waiting long when very busy. Al a Carte evening menu very nice well presented food, more expensive than average but worth it. All communal areas nicely decorated and very clean comfortable and cosy. Bar drinks very reasonably priced. Swimming pool a good size, very clean, nice white towels good showering facilities. Overall delighted with our stay. Thank you
