Well, I liked getting the upgrade! The electronic keycard is a great improvement. The basin soap and shower gel dispensers are a great idea, and appreciated.

I loved the cooked breakfast etc. I think you could offer more bread products like croissants. Also, you could add fruit yoghurts. The electronic key card could have a printed logo of Hotel Celebrity. I appreciate that the 'key' can be used repeatedly, for any bedroom. My room looked down onto your grass & patio area. Suggest you get a pressure washer to clean the patio slabs. Aswell as looking smarter, this would reduce any slippage for guests.

The hotel was very clean with spacious rooms, the staff were really friendly and helpful, it was only a short walk to the town centre. The themed rooms were distinctive and left it memorable ,we would definately recomend this hotel to visitors to Bournmouth

The only reason for not giving it full marks is easily fixable ,the tv was so high it was an inch from the ceiling ! we got neckache the 2 days we stayed , as I have been unwell recently and need to spend longer resting we were in the room more than usual on a holiday away ,please just lower the tv half way down the wall ,then I would say it's one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at .

An enjoyable 2 night stay. The reception staff - Rafael and his colleague were welcoming, friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. Our twin room was clean, nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable, a large fan was provided which was much needed. The bathroom was dated but spotless. The location of this Hotel was great, quiet and leafy but near to shops and restaurants . There are buses at a nearby stop running to other resorts along the coast. For what we paid for our 2 night stay we were happy and felt it was excellent value for money.

The shower wasn't working very well so we used the bath tap .

Hotel Celebrity is my go to hotel for stays in Bournemouth and I always enjoy my time here. I have been in town a lot this year for both the music scene, and the Air Festival, and have stayed at Celebrity every time. Location wise, it is perfect - close to the station, easy access to East Cliff and the beach, as well as the town centre and local restaurants. The staff here are always very welcoming and accommodating and I have enjoyed room upgrades during quieter times as a reward for my loyalty. The rooms are all very comfortable and warm, with many of them having been refurbished in recent months as well with new bathrooms. Plus, if you love movies and showbusiness, the Hollywood style theming of the hotel will be right up your street!

The staff were exceptional. The reception staff, the 2 managers, the cook, and the domestic-services staff; every single staff member I encountered was warm, kind, helpful and informative. The other guests I encountered were friendly and warm; there was a sense of calm in the hotel, which I deeply appreciated after many hectic months spent in London. I felt safe and happy during my stay; because of this, I booked my second visit the day before I checked out! A very special thank you to Somaya - thank you for your kindness and consideration; thank you for your attention to detail; thank you for the extra duvet, tissues, glasses, coffee, tea ..... and everything else that made my stay so relaxing. Thank you, so much, again.

I was visiting during the last cold week of year: mid-March. It was quite cold! Particularly at night and in the early morning. Thankfully, my room was a small single, and so it quickly warmed up by way of the heater provided. However, it must be said that this particular room had no central heating and I resorted to leaving the stand-alone heater on for consecutive days and even overnight. I was concerned and a little nervous about the safety of having the heater on for such an extended period of time.

I have stayed many times before - helpful staff, reasonable price, a bit of character, good location for the Town Centre and reasonable parking. I'll probably be back again.

Even though Feb is down season, and the hotel need guests, the Hotel management needs to make sure they aren't accepting bookings from undesirable guests. They know what I mean by this.

Excellent value for money when compared to the price of other places I checked out.

I only stayed from 6 pm until 10 am and parked my car in the hotel car park for which I had to pay 2 days' parking, adding £8 to the cost. Not a huge amount so I didn't make a fuss about it but feel that this should have been made clear and that the parking should be done for the period of parking, ie. I was there less than 24 hours so should not have been charged 2 days, even thought technically it was Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

Greeted by a happy smiling receptionist who spent several minutes helping with the parking machine, explained what was available to us and showed us the way to the lift. The room was spotlessly clean and spacious, beds comfortable and bathroom quite superb. The room theme was quite subtle and could be readily ignored , which we did. TV was easy to use and functioned perfectly. Plenty of towels available too. Breakfast was a comprehensive buffet and very good.

The only thing that I could fault it on was the heating. Whilst the radiator was off, the big bore pipes carried sufficient heat to make the bedroom uncomfortably warm. Quite a feat in April. It must be costing a fortune to heat this place but perhaps the boiler controls are a bit old-fashioned. Seemed wrong to throw the windows open and waste all that energy but it was the only way to endure the heat.

Clean and quirky hotel with cool decor. I was met by nice and friendly staff, upon checking in I was offered free room upgrade to a newly refurbished double room which was very kind of the staff. The room was lovely, big bathroom with shower/bath very nice facilities. I was booked in for one night originally but ended up staying for 2 extra nights on top of that.

There was no hair dryer in the room I had to go downstairs to ask which was annoying but not a huge deal. When departing the hotel I was about 10 minutes later than check out and was asked kindly by staff to leave which was understandable I wasn’t quite ready but I said I’d only be another 15 minutes yet I had to pay for an hour for late check out.

The hotel met all expectations, it is in a perfect location just 5 minutes away from the beach by walk. The room we stayed in was also quite spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Overall everything was clean and well kept. I would definitely come back again!

It is clear that the hotel is slightly old, we had a couple of minor inconveniences like the TV not working, the curtains were torn and the fan didn't work well. However considering the price, this is no big deal.
