The staff were exemplary, I am disabled, when my mobility scooter broke, as we came down by train, this was my only means of getting back to my home in Oxford. Not only were they extremely kind and helpful, but I was also able to book another night without any issues, as I was having a meltdown, the staff realized I needed help, as I'm autistic. There kindness, in comforting me, listening to me and making adjustments to the extra night, diffusing my stress levels, until help could come was exceptional. The staff were extremely professional. The manager, Tracey, was just wonderful, making sure I was alright. As a member of the Disabled and Neuro-diverse community, I have nothing but praise for this whole hotel. They were just fantastic, I was overwhelmed by the kindness and help. Truly, this hotel is the best out of the 3 here in Bournemouth. Sorry. Suncliff and Cumberland. So now to the room, we were upgraded at no extra cost, a nice surprise for our stay for a birthday treat. 🙂 the room was spacious with a fan and heater in the room, complimentary tea and coffee, our own fridge, and a Seaview.. It's absolutely perfect .. thank you, Tracey, and the team.

The pool wasn't open. However, we did go in March, and that's fair enough, as it is an outside pool. However, you can have use of the Sister Hotel, the pool its indoors so bonus.

The hotel is very close to the beach and within walking distance from the train station, town centre and shops. We were not staying in one of the sea view rooms, but we still had a side view of the sea. Thus, the sea view rooms must have a stunning view. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was good, with the main components of English and continental breakfasts available. The spa with the sauna was in another hotel, but it was next door, and everything was working.

The hotel is nice, but it could do with a bit of renovation or with lower prices. A lock in the bathroom/toilet was broken when we checked in, but it was fixed as soon as we notified the receptionist about it. Breakfast was sufficient, but it would have been nice to have a greater variety.

The location and views were great, friendly staff. We had a sea view room and that was lovely. Big windows. Spacious shower cubicle and clean. The Spa added a bonus to our stay, I had a lovely massage thanks to my therapist, George. The access to the gym, sauna, and indoor pool at the sister hotel was nice.

The lift was very slow and outdated look, and if you're claustrophobic like me, that's a put-off. Me and other people had to walk up using stairs to our floors( 4th floor) for us. Besides the lift, we were happy with our stay.

Loved the sea view and rooms were perfect and modern. Staff were super polite, the spa was lovely and the breakfast in the morning was very good.

Only problem was the tv remote in our room didn’t work but wasn’t a big deal for us personally!

Booked hotel in June via Booking.com app as i had also booked tickets to watch Jools Holland live at The Pavilion, wanted to treat my husband to a night away from home. Not only was the price great value I also had the choice to pay via Klarna. Last week got a message from staff at Ocean Beach Hotel and Spa to apologise that due to staffing problems they were organising our stay at their sister hotel The Suncliff. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the room we stayed in has a very BIG and comfortable bed. My husband is partially disabled, and it was lovely watching him stay in one position most of the night. Was advised by staff that we could have used the pool, gym and all the leisure facilities but to be quite honest just wanted to relax before our big night out. Next time must ask for a room with a bath (as don't have one at home)

The only gripe was people outside after 2am being rather loud (not the hotels fault). We got back from our venue before 10:30 and would have liked a drink but bar was closed.

Breakfast was great and staff friendly room very clean and great sea view - close to beach etc great !

Be handy to have a little shop or something as the closest shop is about a half hour walk - that means we have to spend an hour walking to the shop and back to get food / drinks. Bar is a bit expensive- £21 for 2 drinks Also didn’t receive any information upon booking or arriving about how breakfast / dinner works - and if we need to book or just turn up so that could of been a little clearer Lastly our shower wasn’t great - water pressure very low - toilet didn’t flush properly and sink tap very week

Great location, staff very accommodating, had everything I needed in my room and comfortable nights sleep. Good value for money.

Although clean, my room was run down and tired. Bit of a musty smell as I entered but I got used to it after 10 minutes. Window looked out onto other rooms and very run down outside walls and air con unit. Slight hum from that all night but didn’t stop me from sleeping. Able to watch Tv for the most part but signal dipped in and out. I didn’t explore the downstairs but hallways and stairs were clean. I booked via this site and wasn’t aware that it was £12 a night to park your car, I believe if you book directly with them it’s free.

It was a lovely 2 night break, staff were amazing and helpful, guests were friendly, hotel was very clean and rooms were in a lovely condition. Location was just a short walk to the pier and town centre.

It wasn't that we didn't like any of it, but we thought the pool area could of done with a bit of attention, it just needed around the pool area painted and the cracked wobbly patio slabs to be replaced.

Breakfast was very nice,full English you could have as much as you wanted.The staff were very polite and filling up when items were low.The location was absolutely perfect,not far to walk to Bournemouth or to Boscome.Also additionally a bus stop just opposite the hotel.You can see the sea from hotel.Brilliant.

Providing more normal coffee.2 for 2 people a day was not enough.

Very welcoming at reception, room available earlier than expected. Nice breakfast snacks as we didn't book meals. Great facilities around the hotel and sister hotels

Lift was broken so not good being on 4th floor, hot tap in room didnt work, floor tile in bathroom was cracked and needed repairing. The room was also a little noisy being at the back with the air con unit down below.
