It was super relaxing and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable, staff very welcoming and helpful.
The only thing we didn’t like was that our room was located on the other side of the hotel, so using the spa facilities we had to walk through the bar / lounge area in our robes.

Our stay at Rhinefield House Hotel was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the enchanting setting, surrounded by the serene beauty of the New Forest. The grand, historic architecture blended seamlessly with modern comforts, making it a perfect escape. The rooms were luxurious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed, providing the ideal retreat after a day of exploring. The attention to detail in every corner of the property, from the elegant decor to the lush, well-maintained grounds, was truly impressive. The dining experience was exceptional—delicious food served in a stunning setting with impeccable service. Breakfast each morning was a treat, and dinner was an unforgettable culinary delight. One of the highlights was the spa and leisure facilities, which were top-notch. The indoor pool, surrounded by beautiful views, was incredibly relaxing, and the treatments were heavenly. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. They were professional, warm, and attentive, creating a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere. Whether for a romantic getaway, a family retreat, or simply some time to unwind, Rhinefield House Hotel offers a magical experience. We can't wait to return!

The restaurant is very very good. I had their Chef’s choice and was not disappointed. Excellent cooking. We choice the 2nd restaurant as we felt like something more simple. There I had the best Hamburger ever. Very good food there, and a bit cheaper. The staff are all great. Super service. The bar is very comfortable. Also great service. And its in the best part of the Forest near the ornamental path.
The Spa was the only disappointment. It is too small. My bath is bigger than their pool. The place is too big and have too many rooms and guests, the Spa cannot cope with such size. What ever you do, do not go at Children’s time. It was like Butlins Holiday camp. Dreadful. If you get 1-2 large people in the Sauna there is no room. So the pool had too many people in. They had 4 chairs to relax in and the steam room was full. Sadly this is a blot on the excellent Hotel.

On arrival we were met by Harry who took us to reception and was greeted by friendly staff. Harry then took us to our room and advised us on the facility's . He then very kindly helped bring our cases from the car park. The staff have been exceptional. We had an evening event arranged for our family and all went very well with good service etc throughout. The food was excellent with all our meals. Thank you all for a lovely weekend.
Parking should be improved as there was an event from Honda's which didn't help the parking area.

Staff were all brilliant, service was exceptional in hotel and restaurant. Excellent balance of friendliness and professionalism. Hotel has a wonderful charm from the character of the building but with modern touches. It was for a joint birthday surprise and it certainly felt special. Lots of little touches just made it wonderful especially watching the deer out of our bedroom window was unforgettable. The spa was great and the food was stunning. One of the best stays we’ve had and we’ve been luckily enough to have travelled and experienced quite a variety. Thank you all!
Nothing not to like.

We spent our 5th wedding anniversary at Rhinefield House and it will go down as one of our best anniversaries to date. The staff were incredible and made our stay so special, we woke up to wild deer outside our window in the morning, used the spa facilities which were very relaxing and had an incredible meal at the conservatory restaurant where they congratulated us on our anniversary and went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. The breakfast the next day was so tasty and just above and beyond what we expected with the staff once again being so friendly and welcoming. We can’t wait to come back, thank you again for such a wonderful experience.

This is a beautiful country hotel in a superb location. The whole property has an aura of luxury. The staff are attentive and the service is excellent. The facilities are good and the grounds beautiful. Rooms are extremely comfortable and clean with a lot of nice little extra touches. The food was excellent.
The rooms in the new wing are not as well soundproofed as one would expect from a hotel of this standard. Some items on the menu were not available, which we understand is down to a supplier issue that should by now have been dealt with. Some of the ways in which food allergies were handled by waiting staff was clumsy - this was discussed with the hotel and they are undertaking retraining where necessary. I would stress however, that we liked the hotel very much overall and will be going back.

Location is excellent and the grounds of the house are lovely. Great heated outdorrs pool. Rooms very comfortable. Restaurants have great food in general.
Breakfast was a bit haphazard sometimes. Staff were pre-occupied on some days with a wedding party I think. This problem was also evident when seated outside - the service could be slow when, again, a wedding party was underway. The scrambled egg was often very overcooked and rubbery and we had to send it back several times.

All staff we met were friendly and courteous. The young man who looked after us at breakfast was so pleasant - he had the perfect manner. The breakfast was delicious and the dining room was spectacular. It's a beautiful setting, looking out on to magnificent grounds. Our room was excellent - it was clean, spacious, had everything we needed (including, mercifully, an iron). The only tiny little disappointment was that we were located in the modern part of the hotel. Brilliant for mod-cons but it would've been a big thrill to be in one the rooms in the main house. However, we made our booking quite late so options would've been limited. The building and grounds are just beautiful. I stayed with my son and he is very keen to return. We didn't get to sample the dinner menu because we arrived late and left the next morning but the menu looked lovely. We would've loved to have dinner there.
Our hotel room was lovely...but quite standard for a good hotel. We would've preferred a room in the main house, one of the character rooms.

- The hotel and the grounds were simply stunning! You forget you are only two hours away from London! - The staff can’t do enough for you and are incredibly accommodating. It was my partners birthday and they decorated the room for us and gave us cocktails on the house. - Breakfast was an experience in itself. The food was 10/10 and the menu plentiful. - Dinner in the conservatory was lovely with seasonal local ingredients. - The bar is welcoming with lots of different drink choices.
