The hotel is great, it's in a decent location but is a distance from the pier, maybe 20-30 mins walk. The room was fine for my needs, there is a really good bar and I thoroughly enjoyed the slightly 'cheesy' nightly musical acts they had, I looked forward to those every evening !! I didn't have breakfast or evening meals but could see and smell them and they seemed really good.

The only issue was that the TV in the room was a bit up and down with it's picture quality, that however was not a big deal to me and i'm sure if i'd asked at reception they would have sorted this but I was not worried about it.

the location is excellent! just 10 minutes walk to the beach! the location is classic style but still welcoming and very affordable! clean linen and towels, including the bathroom! if you go on vacation looking for imperfections, you will definitely find them! (I enjoyed all the comfort) the employees were very friendly and polite! I should mention that there were 4 of us and 2 dogs! (everything was great)

everything classic and original! the effect of a warm and welcoming location! it does not create the feeling of loneliness, on the contrary it seems like a location that has given and still gives a lot of happiness and beautiful moments! when you have demands on such a location, it is like asking more from an old man!😁

The car park was large. The Rooms were large and comfy. The Hotel was warm and the food was plentiful and delicious. Entertainment was good and well organised. The Hotel as nicely decorated with Christmas decorations and trees. Evening Menu was available. Snacks sold at the bar during the day also.We arrived to a complementary box of shortbread/fudge in our room.

Staff could have been more friendlier, not even a good morning was said from the breakfast staff. Coffee/tea/milk in the rooms were the cheapest version and sparse. The grounds were overgrown and unkept with weeds in the carpark and garden. Ashtrays overflo0wing outside by the back door and cigarette butts on the floor near the back door.

All staff who we spoke to were very kind and really friendly and helpful. Location was in a quiet area, seemed mainly residential. Room was fair size and clean. We were out most of the time but the bar area and restaurant looked nice. Would definitely stay again.

We didnt realise until after the first day that the bed had not been made/room cleaned. I have never stayed in a hotel where we had to make our own bed. My partner is disabled and I have mobility issues, it took a lot for us to pluck up the courage to book somewhere and the room was not cheap per night but not expensive. However I would have expected our bed to be made in a hotel, thats part of being away and not having to worry about doing this ourselves.

Great value for solo a traveller offering half board for £75-ish. Friendly & attentive staff, food was plentiful & varied in choice. On site parking was free & a bonus. Travelled to Bournemouth to visit my new born Grandson & considering my stay was during school holidays was very reasonable, have stayed in similar previously & paid a lot more for a lot less re: food & accommodation.

Building & facilities a little tired & dated but if you're just looking for a comfy bed & a decent meal whether that be breakfast/ dinner or both you shouldn't be disappointed. If you're looking for 4/5* luxury - look elsewhere & pay accordingly.

In need of a revamp as 70's style bedrooms but clean and tidy. Good powerful shower with plenty of hot water. Comfy bed. TV, hair dryer, iron, tea making facilities, fan and plenty of towels in room. Good size room. Acceptable buffet breakfast extra. This hotel is most frequently used by families and foreign visitors and is dog 🐕 friendly. There is a swimming pool but I didn't try it.

Early check ✔️ in a bit pricey at £20.00. In need of new coffee machines as coffee was very strong and bitter tasting. Lots of other guests commented on this. Currently the lift isn't working, so not suitable for people with mobility issues.

The fact they had a bar but when they have entertainment on there is not enough seating areas had to go back to the room on my last nite would go back again but not in summer I think lol

Due to the weather conditions which can't be helped the rooms was extremely hot there is a cooler and fan but still not strong enough also thought the food was extremely expensive for what it was especially if u have a big family it was a buffet but no good if your a fussy eater plus things we liked kept going quickly what we paid we could of got a takeaway delivery and saved money lol

I complained at reception about the barking dogs in room 3. The lady on reception instantly offered us a different room with an upgrade. I was informed that the occupant had gone to hospital and had to leave her dogs unattended. After a brief chat with my wife we decided to stay in room 2 and put up with the barking. The dogs will have been anxious, and as dog lovers we chose to stay. We were settled in the room and just didn't want to pack are stuff up move rooms and unpack for just one night.

The power cut The main stair case to reception didn't have any emergency lighting. Had their not been natural light it would have been a problem. Imagine a night time emergency or a smoke filled staircase

For a last minute break between Xmas and New Year with the dog that included parking this was perfect. For what we paid, we was happy with what we got. Room was clean, warm and comfy. On NYE we was able to join the Gala entertainment to see the New Year in. I had the pool to myself the day I used it, it wasn’t too cold, and changing rooms were warm too. Was about 10mins to the beach, and then about 40mins to walk along to the pier and to see the Christmas lights. Lots of other reviews mentioned temperature… we were able to adjust the heating dials and open windows/balcony door to maintain it to how we wanted (so wasn’t too hot or too cold for us). Other reviews also mentioned the rooms being dated, yes the room we was in was dated but this wasn't a problem for us, we just wanted somewhere clean for us and the dog in Bournemouth. And finally, there were also reviews complaining about staff, we had no issues with the staff, all of the ones we met were friendly and attentive. Only staff we heard complain were the cleaners and that was just because their hoover had been moved from where they left it the day before. I would visit this hotel again if I were to return to Bournemouth.

The last minute rush to find ID to take with me as it was needed for check in (no real explanation from staff as to why or why it couldn’t be my partners ID). Upon booking I requested a dog friendly room (we was put 2nd floor furthest point away which wasn’t ideal for toileting 😂) I received a email to say no charge, but upon arrival charged £25 with a list of what we could and couldn’t do and charges if we didn’t. Which is understandable, but I would have preferred to receive consistent information.

as soon as i arrived i felt the staff very helpful and approachable.......the hotels atmosphere overall was relaxed and on an evening there was some sort of live entertainment at the bar area but i stayed above the bar on the second floor and i swear i didnt hear any music were the hotel is large and set out were the rooms are away from the different parts of the hotels swimming pool,arcade and pool area etc .....definatly will be back..
