Very beautiful hotel. Amazingly designed. Big rooms. Comfortable bed. Nice breakfast. Good value for money. The staff is polite.

The pool is only available from 18:00 (before it, you have to book it and you have only 30 mins). The Jacuzzi water is not really hot as expected from Jacuzzi. The price of the message is way too high (minimum 90 euro per hour). You have to pay for the sauna. The price for the restaurant is very very high. So basically you have a 5 stars hotel which include only the room. For the rest of the services you have to pay high price.

You have to book for the use of sauna and Hamam in the SPA area and also it is charged with 25 euro /person which is unheard of... The fireplace in the room is not a real fireplace , but an ethanol burning device with fake wood... not really warming or cosy. it kinda lacks the meaning of having a fireplace in a 5* mountain resort and is a bit smelly too... Should have more pastry products (croissant-danish etc) available during an otherwise perfect,varied and delicious breakfast

This is a very, very special place. I’ve never been anywhere like it in Greece. Up in the mountains surrounded by remote forest, the views are beyond spectacular and it’s so quiet you could hear a pin drop. The rooms and views are incredible. You’re immersed in nature and the beds are like sleeping on a loud. Love the design of the place - felt like a mountain lodge in Aspen. Breakfast was incredible and all the staff were wonderful - friendly, kind, helpful and very professional. Other hotels could learn a lot from the standard of staff here!

We have no complaints and loved our time here. The only small suggestions we’d have are that it would’ve been great if the rooms had smart TVs so we could connect to Netflix, and also the jacuzzi was fabulous but too cold. These are only small things though - overall this place has got everything right.

Our stay at the Grand Forest Hotel in Metsovo was great. The hotel is beautifully designed, modern yet full of warmth, perfectly complementing the natural surroundings. The burning fireplace at the lobby was so beautiful and kept us warm in the cold weather. Our room was incredibly spacious, and the view of the mountains from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking. One of the highlights of our stay was the pool. We had a complimentary 30 minutes private appointment at the heated pool while overlooking the serene landscape. It was such a peaceful and rejuvenating experience. We also treated ourselves to a massage at their spa, and it was one of the most relaxing treatments we ever had—the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring.

The water were flowing from the shower and the bathmat was soaked in water every time we took a shower. I would also rather it would be an adult only hotel

Location & View: Stunning views and excellent location. Beds: Very comfortable. Room Size: Spacious and accommodating. Breakfast: Excellent with a large variety of options. Staff: Friendly and helpful. Parking: Plenty of available parking at all times.

Showers: One shower door doesn’t close properly, and the other has a strange sliding door setup between the bathroom and shower area. The stone shower floor doesn’t drain well, leaving standing water. Restaurant: Small, pricey "fancy" dishes, and service is very slow. Accessibility: Not stroller- or handicap-friendly, with many unnecessary stairs and no ramp at the main entrance. Room Lighting: Dim lighting throughout the room. Indoor Pool: Only allows children from 10-12 a.m., making it difficult to use when outdoor weather is unsuitable.

This hotel is truly a luxury hotel.

Everything was absolutely perfect. The hifhlight of our northern Greece trip. We came with our baby and the facilities were perfect. The staff were super nice, they helped us blend some food for our infant and gave us recommendations for the rest of our trip. We were there on a low season and there were more couples travelling with babies :)

I wish there was more time allocated for families in the internal pool (kids are only allowed 10am-12pm) because it was too cold outside. especially for a low season when most visitors are families, and the spa must have been quite open, I think this could have been arranged...

Overall experience was good. Metsovo village is 10 min drive and is really cute. Views are great.

- The hotel is a bit old - No territory to walk outside or play with kids - Very strange policy about kids in the pool (could use the pool only 10-12 am even if the pool is completely empty - Service is not personal - very formal and just okay - Overall it is definitely not 5 stars experience which you expect from the hotel with a badge 'Small luxury hotels'. Good 4 star experience, not less, not more. For the travellers with kids - not recommended.

We value rest and disconnection the most when we travel for leisure. We have high standards when it comes to this price point, which were met along the way. The contact with the nature, the design was exquisite and the food was delicious.

I valued everything. Just because I’m a detailed oriented person, I would suggest to add a bit more amenities and Thea in the room as an extra option for those who can’t take caffeine.

Everything is just super, but the road to the hotel is very scary (the last 4 km). This information is for the people like me, who are very afraid of heights. The road was really stressful for me. But the hotel itself is great!
