During my recent stay at the hotel, I had the pleasure of booking a lakeside room — an experience that exceeded all expectations. The room offered a breathtaking view of the lake, with large windows that allowed natural light to flood in and showcased the calm, sparkling water at all hours of the day. The balcony, directly facing the lake, was the highlight of the room. It provided a perfect spot for morning coffee, sunset watching, or simply relaxing while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The sound of gentle waves and the fresh breeze added a truly serene touch to the stay. Inside, the room was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated with modern touches that blended well with the natural surroundings. The bed was comfortable, and all amenities — including Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and room service — were excellent. This lakeside room is ideal for couples seeking a romantic getaway, solo travelers in need of tranquility, or anyone who appreciates nature and luxury combined. I highly recommend choosing this room if you’re looking for a memorable and relaxing experience with a magical lake view.

Large and historic hotel close to the pedestrian centre of St Moritz. Free hotel shuttle when arriving at the railway station, 10 minutes walk downhill to the station when leaving. Very helpful staff at Reception and in bar. Spacious room with views over snow-covered mountains and the lake. Heaps of hanging space and drawers for clothes, nice slippers and robes, and plenty of desk and table space. Mini fridge with free drinks. Kettle and coffee-making facilities. No air conditioning, but windows all open. Large, charmingly old-fashioned bathroom with double basin, and shower over bath. Evening turn-down service with chocolates provided. Good breakfast in beautiful dining room, with eggs cooked to order. Casual restaurant available for dinner. Close to escalator down to lake level and to local bus stop (regular bus services up from railway station). Lovely walk round lake.

We stayed out of season (end April) so most shops, hotels, restaurants, and cable cars up the mountains were closed. Hotel shuttle driver allowed my suitcases to fall to the ground when opening the luggage storage area of his vehicle, including the bag containing my computer.

This hotel is astonishingly nice. All staff are friendly and always with smile. Hotel receptionists are very friendly and knowledgeable. Hotel room is clean and comfortable. The hotel is very quiet. Breakfast is excellent with a lot of variety of food. Breakfast restaurant is spacious with large windows overlooking the lake. The severs are very attentive with rapid services and big smile. Restaurant manager pays attention to all clients to provide impeccable services. The hotel is located up hill but there is a good shuttle service (shuttle bus driver was very kind and agreable). In addition there is a long escalator from the train station to near the hotel. If you do not have a big luggage this is the best way to go down to the train and bus station and to the lake. I had a lake view room (#204) with balcony overlooking the beautiful lake. Minibar provides complementary snacks and drinks and are refilled daily. Upon arrival we received a pair of St Moritz visitors card that allow riding local busses, ropeways and mountain trains. We climbed up to nearby Pizza Nair mountain (3056m) and had a coffee and cake at mountain top restaurant. We took a bus ride (1 1/2 hours) to Chiavenna (Italy) through breathtaking Pass del Manila (this is not covered by St. Moritz visitor card).

No complain at all. This was the best hotel during our stay in Switzerland for 2 weeks.

Hotel has a perfect location in the centre of the village, close to the train station (you can have a free shuttle). Room was clean with a good equipment. Lake view is absolutely amazing - definitely worth to pay extra for it. Nice sauna, excelent breakfast. No noise from the street or other rooms

There is no coffee machine in the dining room, you have to order your coffee, but sometimes the staff did not come so we could order

Breakfast excellent. Lakeside views tremendous. Micaela and Carola on desk plus rest of staff wonderful. Carola handled herself very professionally and curtiously when a group travel leader unrelated to us was rude and very loud to her, when it was obvious that other guests listening. That group leader was disrespectful and well done to Carola for her patience on dealing with issue. Shuttle to train station nice touch.

Notification when the free cable car in Pontresina is open. We arrived by free train ride to find closed but ended up as a blessing as we very much enjoyed the walk back to St. Mortis via Celerina.

The structure was very good and very clean. The hotel is in a very strategic position, but it is better to have own car. The breakfast buffet was good and the staff did their best. Everyone was very kind and willing to help. A special thank to Mr. Dario, waiter at the Segantini Restaurant.

The room was very small the the shower area and the remaining of the bathroom area were separated. Actually, not very comfortable. The availability of the entertainment (TV equipment) was quite poor considering the level of the structure (connections not fully operational). I recommend to pay attention that in all rooms there should be clear indications related to the internal phone number. I had to call the hotel from my mobile to get in touch with the reception. I understand that this is the probably lowest season, but this hotel should respect the minimum standard of its category.

Great and friendly reception staff, always ready to help. Free shuttle pick up from and to the train station. Great location in the heart of town and walking distance to the ski lifts, shops and restaurants. Stunning view of the lake and the area from the deck. Nice buffet and attentive wait staff.

We were a party of 3. Signed up for a king bed and a sofa or twin bed. Did not expect a Murphy's bed for the king! and we kept hurting our feet and legs on the metal corners that were sticking out. Also sofa bed was meant for a child not an adult. Would have preferred a twin bed with a normal king bed. Our room was spacious enough but needed an update for a four star hotel.

The hotel is very well located with easy access to the city centre as well as to the train station that you can conveniently access via the escalators. For arrival and departure they also offer a shuttle from/to the train station. All staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is excellent. The rooms with view to the lake have a stunning view. The Junior Suite has a nice corner where you can relax appreciating the lake views. This is in addition of the balcony that is certainly very nice, weather permitting. Nice touch with the free minibar that is refilled daily with refreshments, incl. some beer. There are plenty of restaurant options. Besides the variety of restaurants and bars in the hotel there are also plenty of additional options at walking distance too. Decoration is on the classic side and may not be to the taste of somebody looking for something more contemporary. I definitively can recommend.

The location is perfect in the center of St. Moritz. Spectacular views over Lake St. Moritz from the room and from the terrace. Convenient parking just outside the hotel. A very nice storage room for the ski equipment with private heated lockers. Friendly and helpful staff.

The beds including pillows and duvets were not comfortable. I expected a better breakfast. In general the hotel is in need of some refurbishing.

The staff were the epitome of how guests should be greeted and treated!! They were ALWAYS smiling and happy and glad to be helpful with us!! We told them that ALL hotels should be like them!!! They made us a restaurant reservation and we had fantastic Fondue and Goulash too! Our room had a small but usable balcony to look at the gorgeous Glacier lake and we also used the Steam room and Sauna on another floor which was fun! The morning breakfast buffet and omelet station were great with a wide variety and delicious foods!! The sunny, cheerful dining room, linen tablecloths and exceptional host attention were fantastic!!
