The Manager - Tristan is amazing he checks on you ensures that you have everything you need and helped my sister in law and i unload the car. The place has been renovated and is amazing clean and tidy

As we stayed in the suite that is for those with mobility issues the one thing we struggled with is the couch as it is far too low. It needs extra height under the squabs. The shower is lacking pressure however it did the job

The room & facilities were very well planned. Plenty of space & cooking facilities for two people. Large comfortable bed with lovely crisp linen. Lovely little ‘Table & chairs’ area in room for dining. We were very happy with the facilities offered with this motel & would absolutely recommend it. Short distance from the lovely, cute town of Russell ( either walking or driving).

Tristan is the host with the most. We were pampered and made to feel at home. The property is beautiful. The swimming pool was just right. The laundry had everything you needed. The bed was so comfortable. Great shower with excellent water pressure.

There was nothing to dislike.

Was a fantastic place with a beautiful non chlorinated pool and brand new decks, out door tables. All the beds and linen was brand-new. Tristan, the manager was lovely and very accommodating. Only two minutes walk to the historic Chuch, and four minutes to the waterfront highly recommend

The property is easy to find, a short walk into Russell town centre, and is very clean and tidy, with a friendly, helpful Manager.

So close to the main road, it was too noisy to keep windows open - so an air conditioning unit would have been appreciated.

Captains Motel is amazing! All of it. The host. The cleanliness. Comfort. Atmosphere... very well stocked with supplies & condiments. Kitchen is well set up with everything you need! Super comfy beds. All modern & fresh. We will be back!

Lovely motel right in the heart of Russell. All mod cons provided. An added bonus was we were able to bring our dog at no extra cost.

Location was perfect and so is the staff

The shower roses are very old and have little pressure. The single bedrooms with 2 beds have not power points next to the bed so nowhere to charge phones etc

Tristan was very welcoming. Place is recently renovated, very clean and modern. Didn't use the wifi so cant comment on that. Location is very good, a 5 minute walk into the town centre.

Lovely hotel friendly management car parking on site good comfortable bed & pillows nice pool easy walk into town room was lovely and clean.

No air con in room but fan worked ok
