Best choice in town! The hotel is clean, has comfortable rooms and the best staff ever! We had a medical emergency and got helped right away with all that we needed. Everyone was so nice and super helpful. Thank you all so much! They offer many different options for breakfast and our room had a fridge. We did not have any problems with mosquitos and enjoyed the great view from our window. The train station and the bus station to Machu Picchu are both very close. I can recommend the hotel with all my heart! If we ever come back we already know where we will stay.

Room was spacious, clean and just as described. Beautiful view. Great location, close to everything. Great breakfast buffet.

You have to lock the door from the hand knob everytime or else it remains unlocked. My husband and I were taking a nap at one point, and someone "accidentally" opened our door. Also, after talking to some locals and other tourists, we found out we were definitely overpaying for our stay. Not to say it wasn't beautiful, but you can find great hotels in the area for less. Mosquitos are also everywhere but this is an Aguas Calientes problem, not the hotel. As long as you don't open your windows past sunset, you should be good.

The staff were very polite, they kept our luggages while we were at machu picchu, the entire hotel was VERY clean. I loved that it was on the river, the view from the room was amazing, but the river is furious, you can hear it. We did not open the windows, as it was aircon in the room, so we did not have issues with the mosquitoes. The facilities were basic, but i think more than enough for a 3 star hotel. The bed was very comfortable, i slept like a baby

AMAZING! This place is exactly as pictured, described, and reviewed! It could not be closer to everything you want during your time in Machu Picchu Pueblo. Fun fact - after we checked in and left for dinner, we were distracted on the way back and walked past the hotel, but the attendant saw us and opened the door and called us back!

The same thing we didn’t like about everywhere we stayed - they charge for laundry service. Ours was only 40 Sol, but it would be a nice touch to include one load of laundry with each stay.

Everything went well, the hotel is refurbished and has lovely views on the gorge. It would be paramount though to install double glazed windows as the rooms overlooking the river are extremely noisy, it feels like the river runs through your room. Inpossible to sleep without earplugs. The entrance hall could also do with some revamping I give it an 8 due to the politeness of the staff and the nice breakfast but it would deserve a 7

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location near the train station and bus stop for Machu Picchu. The view was absolutely breathtaking and falling asleep to the sounds of the river was so relaxing.

Loved everything!

Location was great, we had a river facing room which was quiet. It was a very short walk to restaurants and coffee shops.

Nothing, sounds picky but the numbers on the AC unit were so bright. I wasn't sure how to dial them down a bit. Duct tape would be useful here.

Location. Had river facing room. The white noise blocked out any town noise.....although this part of town is quiet anyway. Breakfast good.

Towels a bit worn, but soft. No access to a kettle for hot water for drinks

Ideal for one night. The staff were lovely and the room was comfortable. Breakfast overlooking the river was a real treat.

The room faced the river which we loved, but if you were a light sleeper, then it may not be suitable.

This hotel is very convenient for visits to Machu Picchu by train and upper rooms facing the river have nice views. Breakfast was quite good and the dining room has the views over the river and mountains. The staff were very helpful and attentive.

As with many hotels at this price, the quality of the hotel was average but our room was clean. There is no water supplied for free but there is some available for purchase in the lobby or in nearby shops.
