Beautiful location. Even before arrival, the staff’s communications requesting what can be done to ensure my stay went well. The first person I met was the night manager, he was welcoming and helpful. The bedroom/bathroom very clean and comfortable. I appreciated the little touches, towelling slippers, and traveling necessities. I didn’t have the cooked breakfast but I could see the other diners enjoying theirs. The buffet was well stocked. The staff were very polite, friendly and efficient.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Sea View Hotel which was in a beautiful and quiet location. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a very good selection of breakfast options - something for everyone. All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful and responses to messages prior to booking very fast. We would stay here again and recommend.

We loved our stay at Seaview, the location was fantastic. Right on the high street with lovely shops and Lilley's on the corner. it was a miniute's walk to the beach and we loved the bay. We stayed in the two rooms at the back of the hotel which were clean and quiet and very comfortable. The breakfast was top notch and the staff were so helpful.

We liked the place was a small hotel with very friendly staff. Food was fantastic and the chef must be a magician to be able to prepare such delicious meals . We had such a great time and would recommend this place to everyone.

I can’t say anything I didn’t like about property, just perhaps parking is limited but there is not much hotel could do about it. We found parking not far from the hotel so it was not a problem

Breakfast was a great meal for both of us - on morning 1 I had Eggs Benedict, m2 I chose Kippers, m3 I had a real mix of Eggs and Avocado - bliss! Dinner 1 was in the (old) sunshine Restaurant, now the Bistro, where we both had excellent £21-for 2 Curries; D2 and D3. (my 81st b'day) we took in the Aquitania Restaurant, which was really fabulous, with brilliant service, wonderful food. Most of all, we loved the adjacency to the sea, its fine views, the ice cream parlour opposite the hotel, the excellent outside sitting area, the lovely sitting room ("LOUNGE!") and its fine books there in the display table. Oh! And we had the £21-for-two steak and chips - as tender as they go, quite, quite wonderful - for lunch as we were leaving

We had room 20, Lovey room, lovely garden, n ice bathroom EXCEPT for that enormous bath, with so little to assist you into it! And no soap/shampoo at sitting/lying down height. It needs two or three really stout handles to grip on the way both into and out of this fine bath, and a second soap/shampoo dispenser under the window. However, at 81, I managed twice or three times to get out of that bath - but in another year I won't be able to...

The staff were warm and friendly. Nothing was too much effort. Evening meal was very nice but a little price review is needed. We did not have a sea view but we were a very short walk to the shore.

The bathroom had a step in it which caused us an issue. The Room/Hotel could do with an update and a deep clean(round the taps, door handles, windows, curtains need replacing...)everything looked like it was from a 1966 care home. Sorry, our opinion. There was a strong 1920s theme going on but in our humble opinion it needs a makeover. Keep the 20s theme but redesign the ground floor, make reception more welcoming. Car park was very small, reversing into the car park is strongly advised. Breakfast room, again they need to look at the layout with fresh eyes, i must say, the quality of the cooked food was very high.

Very good breakfast. Well presented and friendly service Dinners were excellent and reasonably priced. Very nice attentive waiting staff.

The parking lot is very difficult. The hotel really needs to check that people are parking as carefully as possible. Parking lines might help. Trying to enter and exit took a good five/ten minutes in moving small distances backwards and forwards so as to avoid hitting another vehicle. Although I cannot be a 100% sure I think it is likely that one vehicle trying to exit the space scrapped my offside front wing. It certainly wasn't there when I arrived and don't think it could have happened elsewhere.

Food was excellent and the staff very friendly

Our bedroom did not have a window which you could open and as a result it felt stuffy, as a consequence the air conditioning unit was kept on all night. Sleep was not always as deep as we would have liked.

The parking was limited at the hotel with first come first serve, however, we did find ample parking on nearby streets.

It is a super hotel with clean ,comfortable beautifully done rooms . The staff is extremely pleasant and couldn’t be more helpful.

The car park is very small and very narrow to get into. Parking on the roads outside is hit and miss. We managed to get out Lexus 4 door saloon in going very slowly as to not scape the sides!
