The property was so lovely, clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. Very quiet and well located. It also has gorgeous private courtyard that our little dog enjoyed to roam about and sniff. The host Ella, was really lovely , couldn’t be more attentive and helpful. Welcomed with a lovely slice of cake and milk in the fridge and the Complementary breakfast was outstanding and soooo tasty.

We were looking for a dog friendly place to stop over for a single night in both directions ( Northern Germany to St Ives Cornwall) so a problem free hand over ( key safe) & parking in front of the door 👍, being a cellar flat it is very quiet! Very positive not only for a good night's sleep , but no distractions for the dog's. 60m around the corner is a Tesco express shop for supply's Their is a small grassed area a (minutes walk from the house ) to walk the dogs, we were offered by messenger a complimentary full English breakfast in advance.we politely declined as we were departing early for second leg of journey. Simply a small ,but very thoughtfully decorative use of a space , washing machine, dryer , microwave, fridge. Kettle, tea ( Yorkshire decaf too !! Impressed my wife !) Belgian cookies, milk & milk alternative , small seating area garden to relax

The apartment was ideally located on a quiet street but only walking distance to the harbour and restaurants. The host was very helpful and replied promptly to all questions. The breakfast was really lovely, fresh bacon eggs fruit croissants etc. The coffee machine made excellent coffee. The apartment was very well planned and met all our needs. It was a plus being able to take our little dog along.

The double room felt a little cramped but we had just spent 3 weeks in a very spacious property. It also wasn't clear whether we had access to the twin room next door. Should have asked I suppose but there was a suitcase in there so I assumed other guests were staying although we didn't hear anyone.

Location was on the edge of town and reasonably well positioned although car parking is an issue unless you arrange a street parking permit in advance. There is a Tesco local 3 minutes walk away. The complimentary breakfast was superb: Fresh melon, orange juice, croissants,bacon and danish pastry. Plenty of cutlery, crockery etc with kettle, coffee maker, tea, fridge,toaster and microwave. We were cold in the apartment but hosts turned up heating when asked. I imagine the small private garden would be a boon in the summer and I saw there was a bbq.

I like better bedside lighting and heating I can control.

-What a lovely find! It is such a great little apartment with everything you'd expect for a short stay - and much more. Loved the comfy bed, the cookies, the little fridge, the lovely outside area, plenty of tea & coffee provided, good shower with high water pressure, fluffy big towels, the complementary breakfast, the privacy of it all - really great. Ella has been a fantastic host, couldn't do enough to make this short stay a great one for us. Thank you so much! P. S. Took us 15 minutes to get to the Eurotunnel in late morning traffic

The property is very warm and welcoming, and has every thing you need for convenience. This was my 3rd stay here and would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the area. The hosts are so lovely and you couldn’t ask for more from them. Thank you Ella for being so welcoming , really enjoyed the stays there and fantastic breakfast to start my day, pleased to say I Passed my test today 🎉. lovely meeting you both and all the best of wishes . This is our 2nd one nighter, used as a pit stop on longer journey ( Germany- St Ives) with our 2 dog's so location very practical for us , small park 100m away , shop round the corner, little garden sitting area , quiet , amenities , coffee machine, washing machine & dryer , little fridge , you are asked for car details in advance to book your car for permit on the road parking

This was my second time staying. It’s like home from home with a peaceful atmosphere and the hosts are always so welcoming and lovely. We were served Bakewell Tarts, fresh milk, coffee and filtered water on arrival. Also loved the tasty breakfast served in the morning at our choice of time. There’s a lovely private garden that our little dog loves exploring in. Also there is a Tesco Express behind the property, very convenient. 100% recommended

Such a cute little apartment, absolutely sparkling clean! Beautiful little court yard garden and the most friendly lady owning it! Very comfortable bed, had a great night's sleep. Cold water and milk in the fridge and an extra jug at room temperature which is a lovely touch. 10 minute stroll to the harbour and sea front! A real jewel in Folkestone. Would definitely stay again if we're there!

The beautifully decorated little apartment with all you needed, tea and coffee and freshly baked brownies and a cute, romantic little garden included. Our two dogs were no problem, and the beautiful waterfront with many food options is within walking distance.

We would have loved a full English breakfast, but the supermarket just around the corner provided all we needed for our next day.
