Had a lovely stay at the Worcester Whitehouse. Great location, lovely pool and spacious comfortable room. The bathroom was a good size with a brilliant shower. Staff were all helpful and professional, especially at breakfast.

Our room had a door to an adjoining room. The door may as well have been open- we could hear every movement and conversation. We should have pointed this out on the day we arrived but we were in a hurry to go out. I let reception know the next morning, they noted our comments. I hope this helps for future guests.

I travelled by train and the hotel was literally oin the doorstep. I arrived around 14:20 and was allowed into my room. The staff were very friendly and made pleasant converation enquiring if I was doing anything special that night. I was given all the information I needed about the facilities that were available to me during my stay. My room was on the second floor and accessed by stairs or lift. My room was quite spacious, with a very comfortable double bed. The facilities in the room were quite exstensive. There was tea and coffee, a kettle and good sized mugs. There was a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, a large fan. the room had plenty of modern power points with usb ports. Lots of storage space and a safe. The bathroom had a bath/shower, free toiletries and glasses. The shower was easy to control and powerful. The whole room was very clean, fresh and comfortable. Breakfast was very busy, but well organised. The buffet style food was very fresh and tasty and the choice was amazing. During my stay every member of staff that I encountered was friendly professional and generally seemed interested in my stay being a good one.

The only thing I could think of was the room was very warm. The weather was lovely and the room was in direct sunlight. I closed the curtains on my arrival and this helped, but they had supplied a fan which was good.

Hotel is superbly placed to explore the City on foot. It is clean and welcoming. Most areas are in great condition with just the mai stairwell showing some wear and tear. Breakfast is usually buffet service but we had a cook to order on one morning as the hotel was quiet - this was lovely and hot. You can request options such as porridge, scrambled/ poached /omelette eggs from a separate menu, which is a nice touch. The spa area is very clean but is only ideal for gentle swimming and relaxing as it is small. Nice jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The gym looks great for machine assisted workouts and there are some free weights and a rack - ideal to keep moving and do basic workouts. Can't fault the room we were in or the staff who were all pleasant and friendly.

Really nit picking now, but hotter coffee at breakfast would be nice. Its quite nice filter coffee but stays in the pot a little too long to stay hot.

The car park was easy to find and had enough spaces without reserving. The airy reception area and staircase give a good impression when you first walk in. Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean, comfortable and a pleasant temperature, and the bar area was comfortable. Very easy walking distance to the city centre, river etc. We will stay here again when visiting family in the area.

Wifi was poor or non-existent. Swimming pool was small and the changing rooms are a bit grotty, but we did enjoy the jacuzzi and sauna. It would have been nice if there were bar snacks at weekends.

A warm, friendly hotel with a spectacular staircase decked out with Christmas decorations. the room was spacious - lots of plug sockets - and quiet as it was on 3rd floor. They do warn you that they often hold events over the weekend so there may be some extra noise, but we did not hear anything on the top floor. They were good enough to transfer our original booking from the weekend before when Storm Darragh meant no transport from Wales. An ideal location opposite the train station.

The only issue is that there is no restaurant over the weekend, and the bar is not open until late afternoon. They do not have a coffee machine so that you could at least have a cuppa while relaxing in their very comfortable lounge/bar area.

Buffet Breakfast was really good and had a good choice. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful Location was close to the centre and a great selection of bars, cafes and restaurants nearby Nice walk to the area where the Cathedral, river and swan sanctuary are

Room was a bit dated as it was in the older part of the hotel. Step in to bath to have a shower is a bit dated for me. Draught beer in the bar wasn't cool but that was down to a fault that couldn't be fixed over the weekend.

Staff particularly helpful. Breakfast was good with bacon and sausages well cooked (not limp and pink as in so many hotels). Breakfast staff made me a pot of tea at my request and remembered the following morning without my having to ask again. Parking to rear (paid). On leaving reception staff noticed that we had paid twice for breakfast and refunded.

Instant coffee for breakfast (for the couple we were with) was poor. Shower over the bath for those of us who are older and arthritic is difficult to use.

A good decision to stay here, for the first time. I was taking photographs for the three days of the Worcester Music Festival, which means a very full day with little time to stop and eat, so the excellent breakfast buffet was a very important part of my stay. The location of the hotel was perfect, with all venues in comfortable walking distance. The private car park at £10 a day was very good value on a busy weekend when public parking is always very crowded - the Worcester 10k and half-marathon are always held at this time. Wi-fi was quick and positive - essential for rapid posting of photos and reviews. I had a very tiring schedule, so the benefits when arriving back in late evening to a comfortable, quiet room to work and then to have an uninterrupted sleep in a very comfortable bed can't be overestimated. The staff were excellent - polite, friendly and very professional. I didn't get a chance to explore the gym facilities but by the sheer number of people using them, I'd say they were very good indeed! I'll definitely be staying here again.

There was nothing of any great note - some parts of the hotel could do with a lick of paint - what hotel doesn't, but that doesn't detract from the positive experience of the overall stay.
