It was really handy to the train station and could walk to most of the main attractions. There were many restaurants nearby and and excellent one next to the Ibis ... we ate there twice in 2 days...food was reasonably priced french cuisine beautifully presented and so good! We loved Bordeaux and being so close to everything we really had a chance to explore and enjoy.

There wasn't tea and coffee making facilities in the room....that, and a small fridge for water and milk would have been great . Especially with temperatures reaching 36-38° while we were there. We have been traveling Europe for 9 weeks and its the first time there has been no tea/coffee facilities in our accomodation.

Great room for a quick one-night stay before catching up the train (the train station is literally right accrois the street). For the price, the bedroom was great. It was spacious and very clean which is always appreciated. The bathroom is small but it was not a big deal. The staff at the reception was really nice and helpful and always with a smile. The breakfast was decent considering the price.

The water pressure could have been better (very weak).

Location right next to the Gare St. Jean, very convenient. Also right on the tram lines. Easy to get to the old town and airport as well. Clean hotel, good breakfast.

Sometimes there were strange people in the streets around the Gare, but that seems to be normal around train stations. I wouldn't choose the neighbourhood for walking around.

Nice welcome from reception. The breakfast was very good value. Good selection. Attentive staff keeping the breakfast area tidy and clean . Before arrival the concise information sent by email explaining travel options from the airport was extremely helpful .

Not sure why only small tea spoons are provided for eating your cereal.

Staff were so friendly and accommodating. They made our stay so easy and comfortable. Great location, right beside the tram which was a short journey into the city itself. Very sound proofed though so the sounds from the tram/train station didn't bother our sleep. Late check out available and accommodating. Specifically one staff member, Manon, helped us when we couldn't access our room during the late check out period.

Shower wasn't sealed and would splash water all over the ground during a shower.

Hotel was literally across the central train station, with numerous eateries right below the hotel. The bus stops nearby the hotel are accessible to multiple landmarks in Bordeaux too. Perfect location!

You could hear faint sounds of the train occasionally - might be an issue if you're a light sleeper. But it wasn't a big issue for me!

Lovely and clean. I was caught up in the TGV sabotage on the day that the Olympics started and the lovely girl on reception was kind and helpful as I panicked not knowing now how to get to the wedding in Poitiers. Thanks for your help - I made the wedding!

I arrived late in Bordeaux and like any European city, it felt a bit dodgy around the train station.

Location for our onward travel was absolutely perfect. We were allowed to check in at 12 noon which was so handy due to heavy cases. The room was spotless, bed was super comfy and Jules on reception was so helpful. Highly recommend this hotel and Bordeaux is stunning!

Nice family feel, easy to get to even when shuttle bus was not running, bar and buffet dinner were great and breakfast in the morning was lovely and plentiful.

Nothing….initially we were disappointed that there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room but very soon we discovered that you could get this anytime in the lobby.

The location

We have stopped here before and had a room facing the station. This time we were at the back and found we could hear a droning noise. We were only here for 2 nights so just got on with it. We have 2 more stays booked and definitely don’t want this room again.
