Rebecca was a wonderful. She was a breath of fresh air. Brusting with enthusiasm, you couldn't ask for a better host. Nothing was to much trouble! Lovely room with amazing views. Very peaceful and relaxing. Extremely comfortable bed and 2 comfy chairs to look out of the bay window, taking in the endless countryside view. Added bonus were the house martins nesting just outside our window. Nice guest lounge and garden patio to relax in too. Fantastic quality breakfast. Perfectly cooked and hot! Eggs from their own chickens 🐔 were delicious. Couldn't fault it.

Having to leave!!

The location was wonderful, and extremely secure being 400 yards behind electric gates. Effusive welcome from Rebecca, and shown to our large bedroom, with big en-suite. There were full tea and coffee making facilities including a Nespresso style coffee machine, along with bottled water.Great views into the huge acreage the property enjoyed from the bay window with comfy armchairs . Breakfast was served in the dining room and had a wide range of cereals, including gluten free, nuts, seeds, fresh fruit, natural yogurt and pastries. There is choice of full English, vegetarian, porridge or eggs, and bespoke was easily accommodated. Served with orange juice, choice of tea or coffee, and toast, there were also honey, jams, biscoff and marmalade, and a banana for me on request. We chatted with other guests, who were also enjoying their stay, and we were able to finish breakfast with plenty of time to meet the 10.00am check out deadline.

Nothing really, we noticed one of the curtains had a few hooks missing, but neglected to tell Rebecca, so a small oversight perhaps? You would have to be churlish to find fault of any consequence.

We were made very welcome on arrival and throughout our stay. The room was light and generously proportioned with everything we needed and a very comfortable bed. It was simply and tastefully decorated and offered beautiful country views from the windows. Breakfast was delicious, and nutritious with fresh fruits, nuts and yogurt as well as cereals and the traditional English breakfast, which included freshly laid eggs. There was also a choice of small snack meals in our room in the evening if required. I will definitely stay there again if I'm in the area.

Could not fault our stay at all. The host was in touch from booking to arrival. Very flexible when we changed our arrival time... The building is lovely, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. A really homely feel. Little things about our stay made us feel we mattered to them.. Rebecca was warm and couldn't do enough for us. I actually felt a little sad to leave... and we only stayed one night!

The fact that we didn't book for longer!

Everything, from the warm greeting on arrival to the excellent room and fantastic breakfast. Knocked spots off the 5 star hotel I stayed at in early March at a faction of the price. Please note, The Moorhead is in a very rural location. If you must have a town or city around you then don't book but if you value peace and tranquility with nothing but bird song this is the place for you. If you need to stay connected then there is excellent Wi-Fi and TV in your room. The beautiful, wide ranging, breakfast includes freshly laid eggs on the premises and the most tasty, to die for, sausages. Very, very highly recommended.

Nothing - Ideal get away location but you must like the countryside.

The security when entering and leaving the facility, given its location is impressive. Rebecca welcomed us at the entrance to the building with a warm smile, it felt like we’d known each other for ages! She’s pleasant and the services rendered was top-notch. The breakfast was AMAZING. We ate filled to the brim and there was food in excess, it felt like a feast! She made all we asked for and some more. The room with bathroom en-suite was clean and everything in it including the bathroom was as advertised, the mattress was particularly comfortable. There’s an area of the room with couch facing the fields and a centre table for relaxing before going to bed. We came with our 3-month-old daughter and it wasn’t a regrettable experience. We will def be returning to the Moorhead B&B if we’re ever in the area again.

Nothing at all. It was a beautiful scenery of nature, away from the bustling of a city.

Lovely location, and excellent host - Rebecca was ever so welcoming. Room was very spacious with large windows overlooking the garden and fields, and there is an area for sitting outside as well as a living room to enjoy in addition to the room. Large bathroom with great shower. Breakfast was 10/10, and served really efficiently. Plenty of parking too. Would definitely recommend

In our room we had a seating area overlooking the lovely countryside The Moorhead is situated in. Our room and bathroom were spacious, well equipped and pristine. A very comfortable bed. Rebecca could not have been more helpful. She also provides a service for sandwiches etc., should you wish to order any. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend.

Absolutely nothing.

This B&B is simply beautiful. The room was spacious, immaculately clean and had everything we needed and more. The breakfast was delicious and there was such a great range on offer- I am vegetarian and Rebecca had veggie sausages in ready for me. Rebecca is an incredible hostess. I was sadly taken ill during our stay- Rebecca checked on me regularly via message, delivered breakfast in bed and offered anything else I may have needed. She is just so kind. We can’t wait to stay again soon!

There is nothing to dislike about the Moorhead!

An absolute gem of a place, situated deep in the beautiful Shropshire countryside with no sound of traffic. The room was immaculate, we received a wonderful personal welcome and the quality of the breakfast was exceptional. We went a lovely walk through the landscape directly out of the front door and enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the place. Idyllic.

There's not really anything I can fault with the place - Becky was a wonderful host and I can't think of anything.
