This property was outstanding, from the moment you stepped out of the transfer it oozed tranquility and simple luxury. The staff were always smiling and happy to help with anything we needed. We stayed in room 6 which was just beautiful, better than the photos! The private suites (huts in the gardens around the pool) had a very African feel, with wicker roofs and beautiful furniture. All amenities were provided, robes, slippers, minibar, tv etc. The only thing I would add to the room would be a coffee machine! However - breakfast was delivered to your room at whatever time suited you, where you could eat at table outside - there were pancakes and fruit and pastries, fresh Oj and hot coffee in a thermo flask (great idea!). The vibe was peaceful at all times of the day and night. There is 10 rooms so the pool area was never loud or crowded. The sunbeds were comfortable and the staff would bring drinks to the pool for you as well as serve lunch at your sunbed or set up a table in the garden for you to eat. We ate dinner both nights we stayed at the hotel. It was very romantic, candlelit in the garden. The quality of the food was suberb; we ate the keftas, the chicken and the lamb tagine, the pastilla (my favourite), the burettes and the mixed Morrocan salads. We had some lovely French wine and they made a great Virgin Mojito. I cannot fault a second of our stay at Le Cinq Dejellabas. It was such a relaxing and much needed start to our holiday in Marrakech. I will be recommending this hotel for anyone wanting to split their time between the medina and the palmerie. The hotel did also provide transfers to the medina if guests wanted to eat elsewhere of an evening, we just did not use this facility.

Nothing - except the drive to the property from the airport goes slightly off the beaten track but if you know to expect this it is not a problem.

Breakfast was fine croissants yogurt etc had to pay extra for eggs - very nice to have it outside the room very peaceful - food menu was simple and didn’t change day to day - cooking was adequate but not gourmet Pool is really beautiful - staff were lovely and very helpful - sadly the surrounding countryside was full of rubbish and scrubland - there is a water shortage there and olive trees looked like they had died - but you couldn’t see any of this once inside the hotel .

Couldn’t leave the hotel for a walk as in the middle of a wasteland with rubbish strewn everywhere

Staff and location were excellent, beautiful heated pool within stunning surroundings, villas are a lovely design.

A few issues, the a/c was very noisy , the tv picture kept freezing so couldn’t watch anything ( not that we were there to watch TV). No coffee maker in the room which was disappointing. I think the main issue we had was the loud music at night coming from a large resort nearby, we wanted peace and quiet but unfortunately there was no mention of this music when we arrived. We stayed in Villa 5 so maybe you don’t hear it with villas nearest the restaurant. Food was excellent but the menu could really do with expanding as the choice is not enough for more than a few days.

Hidden paradise, lovely grounds and pool area, outside of Marrakesh so super quiet. Easy access into the Medina by shuttle taking 20 minutes. High quality food with some of the nicest staff encountered in any travels. One young man is nicknamed “smile”, he is a fabulous person so willing to help with anything. Breakfast on a little table in shade of olive trees is a lovely start to the day. Super relaxing environment.

Beautiful hotel with an amazing pool, loads of sunloungers and excellent service as we were able to order food and drinks from the pool all day. Very quiet and peaceful place to relax. Good to note: it takes about 25 minutes to get into the Medina and the cost is €40 to get there and back. The staff were so lovely and helpful and the atmosphere at this hotel was very relaxed. We had such a happy time!

The food was delicious but I think there could be more options on the menu as it gets a little repetitive if you are there for longer and not planning to leave. Also the breakfast is good but you have to pay extra for eggs which I think should be included in the price as the breakfast is quite pastry/bread heavy.

Superb venue, lovely and quiet and very much off the beaten track (perhaps a little too much as the road in is very dusty and off road!!) but a wonderful place a staff couldn’t have done more for us

There is a nightclub nearby that you can hear from the tranquility of the hotel which occasionally ruined the ambience but not in the control of the hotel and waaaay quieter than being anywhere near the medina

Staff were fantastic, pool and faclities great - could not fault. Hotel is 20-30 mins outside centre but easy to arrange a car/driver with hotel

The food quality was great, however the menu selection was too small. The menu was the same for lunch and dinner with only a few items. If you were staying for a few days (like us) you soon get fed up with the lack of choice. As I say, the food quality was great, just a little more variety would turn this to excellent!

It is such a unique boutique hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful and gracious. The pool, gardens and rooms were lovely and it felt like a little oasis.

The menu is limited (it is the same for lunch and dinner) and it gets quite tiresome thought the dishes are nice. Equally, the breakfast was the same, every single day. No variety at all.

My mum and I spent a week here and it was divine. We had chosen a deluxe room with the claw foot bath, our room was perfect, very clean and beautifully designed. The grounds are exceptional, the pool is surrounded by olive trees and perfectly maintained gardens. The staff here could not do enough for you, the whole team were amazing and made us feel very welcome and special. There is a small restaurant for guests which serves delicious food, they even managed to cater to my gluten intolerance. With your booking you get a daily transfer to the median and back, we loved that we could spend a few hours in the hectic medina and then come back to our paradise at Les 5 Djellabas. I honestly can not recommend this hotel enough!

Couldn't have asked for a more perfect location for a long weekend break. Quiet, relaxing, secluded, comfortable, friendly and inviting are words that spring to mind. The staff are exceptionally friendly and accomodating, ensuring you have your every need met. The food was both exceptionally delicious and generous in sizing (traditional dishes and more continental food available for all food choices). The rooms are impressive, spacious and comfortable, with all the mod cons you could need. The Gardens and pool area exceeded all expectation. AMAZING STAY
