I arrived about 1pm, I had inquired about early check in before but had received no response. When I arrived they said they take $10 for early checkin. I told them I just had one backpack and asked if I could keep my bag with them, as I didn’t necessarily have to get in the room early but just need to head to a show where I couldn’t carry my backpack in. This was the first hotel I experienced where they said they can’t keep my bag. In the end the staff let me check in early so it worked out. When I did check in, I noticed the housekeeping staff had pulled out the whole thing that blocks the water from leaving the tub, so I was unable to take a bath. Housekeeping staff start coming around pretty early and are kind of loud, which might wake you up. Otherwise pleasant stay.

This was a great place to stay for the price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are a number of places to eat close enough to walk to. My Uber rides into Downtown Greenville were less than 20.00. I was alone and felt safe which is a key concern when traveling alone. For the most part the hotel was quiet. Overall a good stay, I would recommend and stay again.

The TV in the room was very basic and I could not get all the channels but that was a minor glitch as I wasn't there to watch TV. The breakfast was minimal and could have included more options, perhaps bagels and more fruit and juice choices.

Was in handicap room. My husband went to take a bath!! Turned on water to warm water before he got in shower. First, the hand held shower didn't work. Tubing was twisted. Second, floor in shower was VERY slippery so was the floor outside the shower. Upon getting into the shower he fell and it took us almost and hour to get him up. He is healing from a broken hip. Took him to doctor. He had cut on toe, arm and back. Very sore. So am I from trying to help him up.

Entry way and all public areas were very clean a d there are many signs hung with different inspirational and other sayings.many restraunts near but don't go to carrabas it was awful. Across from them is twin peaks I went for a drink and wished I had eaten there the food looked good. As far as hotel. Bed was comfortable room was clean.

Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was ok but I wish they offered some type of meat. Only had eggs and toast or waffles and cereal. Location is good. Only minutes from downtown and plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Overall a good value.

Clean and quiet

When I got there the front desk person told me that booking.com lied to me and many more because they were booked hours ago. He asked me to call and complain right there. We walked out the hotel and then the same guy said that he just got a cancelation and it was the same room we reserved because it was a single king size bed. He said he felt sorry for my boy son. And he changed me $30 over the price booking.com quoted me. What a steal! He knew it was late and took advance of us.

The property is located conveniently, and there’s a great restaurant you can walk across the parking lot to. The hotel is maintained well, and the gentleman at the front desk (manager I believe) engaged with us & was very helpful, wrote down restaurant recommendations for us.

They were resurfacing the parking lot which made entering difficult, BUT upgrading is great! The continental breakfast shuts down early.

Great location near several good shops and restaurants. The hotel had positive saying on the walls and elevator which we thought was unique.

The height of the toilet was more for children, needed some maintenance in the bathroom.

Good price and it wasn’t too far from the concert venue we were going to. Front desk lady was nice at check in and check out. The pre-made cheese omelets were good! They also had the typical waffles, cereal, yogurt etc.

We booked a queen room and the bed seemed more like a double and only had 3 pillows. Certain areas of our floor smelled like weed.

We travel a lot for soccer and it becomes very expensive very quickly. So I wasn’t expecting much when I booked the Microtel Inn due to lower price range compared to what was around that area. But to my surprise, not only was the location amazing, the hotel was very clean, organized, very adequate even cute and cozy. The staff were courteous and friendly. We did not try the breakfast nor the coffee, but I am assuming it is what is is: ok and better than nothing, but I don’t want to judge since I did not have any.

The only complaint I have really are the towels. You know these towels that don’t actually dry you, but instead feel like they can’t absorb any water?? Yep, these are the towels they have, sadly. so maybe bring your own, or maybe the manager can consider addressing this issue. The other con is about the size of the pillows. The smallest pillows I’ve ever seen on a bed. Definitely not queen size pillows or even double. They were TINY, comfortable and soft, but really really small.
