Close to Vienna, friendly staff, large parking lot, natural surroundings

The first day we got room 113 which is right next to the toilet. but the toilet door slams really hard every time it closes and we would wake up every time. and that would be every 10 minutes. The second night they locked the door at our request but they unlocked it again around 5am so we didn't sleep again. after which we complained again the second day, we got a new room so we could sleep at least the third night. conclusion avoid rooms 113-117

We really liked the atmosphere and the feeling of the hotel. It’s an old building, and it gives that sense of oldness without any negativity. We stayed in a room with a city view, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was just big enough.

The breakfast provided at the hotel is 18€ per person and we found this quite expensive compared to many other places in Vienna and Europe in general. It is an approximate 40 minute ride on bus to the center of the city. İ don’t know if that was because there was construction on the roads around the area, but it took quite some time to get to the city center and to get back to the hotel. We really didn’t mind because we liked the hotel and the atmosphere and we knew it was not in the city center when we first booked it however, if you have time constraints, this can be an issue.

As always, I was a pleasure staying here. The room was clean and the heating excellent and customizable. But what we really appreciated was that after a full day of walking and sightseeing we enjoyed a good and relaxing night sleep. Just quiet, far from the busy city. Not to mention again the stunning view of Vienna from the hotel. Just awesome. Thank you Austria Trend Hotel Schloss Wilhelminenberg. We will return for sure

The some details and fixes to the room will improve the customer experience, that is for sure. Also, the parking spaces should be delimited in front of the hotel, as the ones in the parking lot near

The hotel is exactly as described and as on photos, we loved it to every bit with 2 children (7,10). Comfortable size of the room, even the bathroom seems small, but it is just convenient and comfortable. Loved the spotless cleanlyness of the bedding and the towels, table colths. We loved the old furniture, good quality, strength, nicely fitting in the castle. I see many complaints about the creacking stairs and the wind blowing, it is coming with the old buiding and suits it and not bothering at all! We have been here in July, 28-30 degrees, but the room was not hot at all, not even at the top. The breakfast was perfect, a wide range of any types of food, no crowd even considering the hotel was full. The restaurant is open from Wednesdays, we ordered 2 types of Wiener Schnitzel with fries and salad, and broth with pancake, all were the best of quality, real food. Staff was very kind and helpful! Thank you! Pick a candy, it is nice!

On the 1st floor venue stuff - tables were out constantly for days, which was weird, but not a big deal, not taken away much of our pleasure.

The clearing near the hotel offers a magnificent view of the city. You can plan a picnic with a great view. The building is very old and beautiful.

The room is very “tired.” The decorations on the staircase (in the room) are poorly secured. It's very unsafe. The carpet is very dirty. There is also a hostel in the building. At night, a crowd of people stood near our window for a long time and talked very loudly, but none of the staff said anything to them. The hotel is undergoing renovations, which is also not very convenient. There were spoiled peppers at breakfast. We put them on a plate, smelled them, and realized that they were very spoiled.

The view. Top floor rooms have an incredible view however they get pretty warm despite having a floor fan in the room. Loft rooms were actually accessible for our wheelchair bound mother sleeping in the hide-a-bed. The charm of staying in a palace is real. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beds were decently comfortable for soft Americans.

Breakfast prices €24 seems excessive (€18 if requested the night before). We didn't try the breakfast. Raw sewage smell is real however running the shower a few minutes resolved that. Frosted glass doors to the bathrooms were loud and didn't provide much privacy.

Our stay at Austria Trend Hotel Schloss Wilhelminenberg Wien was absolutely wonderful. The hotel has a very royal charm, and the atmosphere truly makes you feel like you’re in a palace. Everything was spotless – the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the overall great experience. A truly unique and royal-style stay – I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vienna.

No aircon as the night i stayed was a bit warm

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The building itself is over 100 years old and full of character, which I truly appreciated as a fan of historical architecture. It’s beautifully restored, very elegant, and the view of the city is simply stunning. A perfect place for those who value charm and atmosphere.

One small downside was the low ceiling in the bathroom — expected in a historical building, but still a bit limiting. Also, there were no hooks in the shower to hang a towel. I got shampoo in my eyes and had nowhere to place the towel nearby, which was a bit uncomfortable.

The location is fantastic, offering breathtaking views of the city from the mountain. The breakfast buffet was delicious and offered a good variety of options. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. Christmas in Vienna was a great experience.

The staircase in the room was extremely noisy, with loud creaks at every step, making it disruptive and far from relaxing. Its old-fashioned wooden design felt outdated and would benefit greatly from being replaced with a modern, quieter alternative. Additionally, both the toilet and shower could use significant upgrades to more modern fixtures, as they currently lack the comfort and style expected for a pleasant stay. An investment in these improvements would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.

Was lovely castle, quiet, great service, clean, good room amazing price which was our criteria for staying in Vienna as we had other options.. it was great and we will book again . Was a bit far from city center but easy to access, bus stop is in front of the hotel. Desk was amazing with transportation directions.

Elevator was shabby ( OK who cares) first room was with bedroom up a set of stairs and as an older person we had to change rooms to be all on one level. Most rooms in hotel are 2 levels we were told. Breakfast was good but typical of buffet breakfast included.. dry eggs, flavorless bread, .. Just an average breakfast..for 18e. But we are fussy eatters.... good coffee if asked for from waiters.
