Although the room was not large, (it is an old hotel) it had everything we needed and was so comfortable. We had a large window that opened onto a Juliet balcony and a view of the street and the Eiffel Tower in the distance. Comfy beds, good pillows, very quiet when windows closed, small bathroom but with a good shower. Excellent breakfast from 7-11am and afternoon coffee/tea and cake provided. Hotel is very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is brilliant. A short stroll to the Pantheon. We walked over to Notre Dame in about 10 mins and along the river to the Louvre and walked back along Blvd St Germain. A nice gentle walk that didn't take long at all. All around the hotel are a variety of restuarants. A brilliant Vietnamese that is always busy because its so good, Japanese, Indian, Moroccan and of course, French restaurants just on the door step. A short walk to the Odeon metro. We were very happy with our stay at this fabulous hotel and will be returning. It is great value for money.

Not much about this hotel I didn't like. Maybe bigger towels but that's just nit picking. We were very happy with everything.

Location was Great! Close to Several Attractions. Walking Distance to Luxembourg Gardens, Pantheon, Notre Dame . A Few minutes ride to The Louvre Museum, Tuileries Garden, Musee de Orsay, Palais Royal.. About 20- 25mins metro ride to the Eiffel Tower, arc de triomphe, champs de elysees… Lots of Restaurants. 10mins walk to the train station, 3 mins walk to the metro. Rooms were clean.Comfortable bed, clean pillows and beddings. Heated Towel rack! toilet and bath were modern. staff were helpful and very pleasant. I was told there was free tea and cake @ 3pm. No Free breakfast but could avail of it( Heard it was good)

The room was small. TV was small. No microwave. No iron

I loved the kindness and welcoming spirit of the staff, especially the front desk's, Camille. Help with luggage storage before formal check-in, and after checkout. The kitchen staff was awesome. I met one of the cleaning staff and she tolerated my poor French. The orange squeezer machine was fun. Freshly arranged food, and flaked chocolate and cinnamon to put on top of my hot chocolate. I actually liked the slow elevator. It added charm, but it did help me choose the stairs several times. Close to many transit options.

My colleague stayed in a room on the inside of the hotel. View not at all appealing. Make sure to stay in a exterior room, or get a great deal for the other kind. No USA-style power outlets (but I asked before and planned ahead).

Ideal location, we walked to all the main attractions that we wished to see and a great selection of restaurants nearby. For any Highlander The series fans, a lot of the filming locations nearby which what great for me, not so much for the missus

All was as hoped

The view of the Eiffel Tower from our room (request 724 if available). The cooked buffet breakfast was also delicious. Staff were lovely and very accommodating.

The only reason I scored a 9 instead of a 10/10 is because of a few snagging points in our hotel room. The sink hole was very clogged up so running the tap, even briefly, would cause it to fill up and slow drain. Our shower guard also had no seal so I had to wedge a towel between the bath tub and shower guard or else the water from a running shower created a pool of water on the floor. I’m sure had I have mentioned these issues at the beginning of the trip then the staff would have rectified them. They didn’t bother us enough and we didn’t want to be moved to another room. So I just gently mentioned it to the staff on checkout so that they could fix them for the next guests.

The staff was super friendly and the location was walkable to everything in the Latin quarter and super close to metros to take you anywhere else you want to go on Paris. The neighborhood felt super safe and we loved exploring the restaurants and cafes. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and to help us celebrate our anniversary.

The elevator to get to our room was small so it was hard to get to the room with our luggage. Also not a handicap accessible hotel.

The restaurant was great for breakfast. The tea in the afternoon was a nice touch. The hotel was very well maintained, clean, and comfortable for it's age. It was very charming and the front desk people were very helpful. A great location -- we could walk or take public transportation to everything we wanted to see.

Unfortunately, we were there during some remodeling work and experienced the inconvenience that comes with that. Also, the main elevator was out of service and both elevators were out of service on the morning we left. But, the front desk clerk climbed the stairs and brought all of our luggage down from the 6th and 7th floor. They also packed us a "bag" breakfast to take with us as we had to leave at 3:00 am to get our flight. They did everything they could to minimize the inconvenience.

I highly recommend here because location is super good: 5mins walk to RER B then no transfer to airport, also 5mins walk to subway station. You could even walk to Notre-Dame de Paris. Two stops to Lebonmarché via subway, so I could drop my purchases in hotel (if you have many) then go to dinner. I love this location, love this arrondissement. Room size is not small among hotels in Paris, sufficient for suitcase. Washroom is very clean and cozy, even with an bathtub, so you could finish your trip everyday with an bath, that helps a lot.

The only thing unsatisfied is, my room was on the top 7th floor. Every morning, pigeons are outside around the room, because of bad sound insulation of the room so very noisy. I tried to find staff to solve while he told me “c’est la nature Madame” (hhh very Parisian but I like his attitude). Maybe it’s the cost to have a Tour-Eiffel view room, well I love Paris, I will choose this hotel again, but another room hahh.

Such a beautiful hotel in a great area, after a long flight from Melbourne Australia it qas so nice to be greeted by lovely staff. Bed was super comfy and the breakfast I decided to get the last day was great value for money. Would recommend!

Staff friendly and helpful Breakfast was a good choice and plentiful Room was excellent with a view of the Eiffel Tower

There are two lifts in the property. Upon arrival both the lifts were out of order. One was a glass elevator that appeared to take a few people (never saw inside). The second was very antiquated with a max of two people. They got the second one working on our third day (of four) but only for one person at a time and the door wouldn’t open on our floor 6. So we could go up to 7 and walk down or 5 and walk up. So on the hottest days Paris has experienced for a couple of years we had 115 stairs to climb every time we went to our room.
