Location was amazing. Views were great. Full gym and pool were outstanding. Beds and room comfy and clean. Pretty standard room, nothing special. The staff was exceptional. Parking garage on premise was such a bonus. Will stay here again.

Getting picky but feel like a lot of the carpets, drapes, nooks and crannies in the bathroom were pretty dingy/dated and could use some fine tuning. Also felt the toiletries could’ve been much better for the level the rest of the premises offered.

Great downtown location and the portobello mushroom burger from the hotel restaurant was amazing! The bar looked enjoyable but I was too tired to have a drink. All of the staff I spoke with were very friendly and helpful.

Stains on my bedspread, light above shower flickering and the body wash was empty. I’m sure they would have taken care of it immediately if I had said something when I checked in but I was extremely tired and didn’t want to deal with it. Just know you may find things in this state at check in. I got a great deal through Booking.com but would over $200 a night for these rooms.

The location was excellent and made it so easy to discover downtown Boise. There's a Trader Joe's diagonally across the street. It was the perfect spot to buy snacks, light eats, and drinks for my room since I was working from the room a bit during the day. The restaurant had an incredible portobello mushroom and haloumi cheese sandwich for lunch. The soup of the day I ordered was unfortunately thick like paste.

I didn't find the staff to be incredibly warm. In contrast, I stayed at The W in LA last week and every time I walked through the lobby either one or both of the front desk workers said "hello" or "welcome back." The woman that was there for check-in was the most friendly. I did find that in Boise overall, service people were more distant and less chatty than those on the east coast. It's just nice, when you travel alone, to feel an extra touch of welcome.

The staff were delightful and provided great hospitality. The room itself was nice enough with comfortable bed. The location is great, and one of the primary reasons I stayed here. It also is one of the only downtown hotels that offers a complimentary hotel shuttle which was a nice bonus. The bathroom had the sink separate from the toilet/shower which could be appreciated for some people with larger groups.

I guess if I had to say something it would be that the bathroom looked just a little dated. Not the bright colors (like some places). Definitely not anything that would deter me from staying again.

The new bartender was amazing! They had only been working there a week but was well trained and very competent. Was born in Boise so full of excellent recommendations on eateries in the area. And above all very friendly and enjoyable to chat with although kept working at the same time restocking and cleaning. Truly made our experience extra special! Our view out our window of our room, which was pretty much floor to ceiling and wall to wall glass, was amazing! We were on the 10th floor and we could see across Boise from the Boise State football stadium across campus up to the old train depot tower. Just delightful to watch the Sunrise and the lights at night. The bar and lobby is a great place for hanging out and grabbing a drink or bite to eat.

A little pricy. But really worth it for the location, great staff, and facilities.

It was very clean and the views were amazing. We celebrated our anniversary and they made it extra special.

They were doing construction and granted they warned us of the noise. That was literally the only downfall about our stay. The construction made the balcony area where they have fire places closed, and we were really looking forward to that, but again, they did warn us about the construction.

Housekeeping were great. Shuttle drivers to and from the airport were lovely. Waiter in restaurant was very attentive and friendly. Front desk assisted my son wonderfully in retrieving a gift he accidentally left in his room upon leaving. They took the time to search for the earrings and found them.

More hooks to hang wet towels in bathroom and a hand held shower.

I liked this hotel. Check in is fast. The room is clean and spacious. The food in the restaurant and the service were excellent. Parking is adjacent to the hotel and owned by the hotel, and is relatively convenient. I needed a tea kettle and they made it happen and I really appreciated that. I suggest there is one in every room, as many of us drink tea in the morning, rather than coffee.

Location was great, right downtown, loved the Basque Block, close to campus where attending orientation. Most staff were very friendly and helpful. Very walkable to restaurants, shops.

Check-in staff was pretty off-putting. Just asked for ID without even welcoming us to the hotel. The mattress wasn't as comfortable as most hotel mattresses and the pillows were like boulders. I asked for a smaller, softer pillow, but was left another couple of pillows that were the same huge pillows that weren't comfortable for me.

From location, to the staff, to the food at Trillium, the Grove is the only hotel I stay at when in Boise. I look forward to visiting Boise because of the Grove (mostly). They also have a great gym. There's really no "bad" location in Boise consider the size of the city itself, but at the Grove you're no more than a 7 minute walk from EVERYTHING you need to enjoy your stay immensely. If you're lucky enough to be there during Steelheads season, the arena is attached to the Grove with some "hidden" spots to see the game from a barstool.

The paid WiFi was somewhat spotty, but manageable.
