Staff was very kind and left us a bottle of champagne for our friends birthday without us even asking it! That was a nice touch and overall very nice whenever we needed something. The price is really good and common areas were delightful taken care. The breakfast was really nice and plenty of options and space. Runs over a really long period, so it felt really nice!

Not having internet around the hotel, with exception of the reception, is not normal in our days, and my friends as foreigners, were hope to use it for free to connect with their families, in the comfort of their rooms.

Just outside Funchal ,the bus stop is outside Dom Pedro and is a 20 minute ride for 2.60 euros . Staff were very friendly and helpful . Rooms were cleaned every day . Food was very good but repetitive,but lacking in imagination.coffee in an evening would have been nice after the meal , stingy with the wine .

Not much happening , no entertainment in the evening other than a Friday night singer , no Gym facilities ,only an aged football table which was out of order , a table tennis table with ripped bats , the indoor pool was a good size , the outdoor not so much , the beds were uncomfortable and had old wooden blankets on them . No air conditioning, no fans in the bathroom , dated bath and shower , old brown threadbare towels , cheap toilet paper . This hotel needs some investment and modernisation, it’s stuck in a 1980’s time warp , much like a hi he hi holiday camp , boring , would I stay again , no I would not .

No wifi in the rooms

When you have a car, this location is perfect starting point. As other reviews say breakfast is every day the same but I would not say poor. A lot of options from bakery stuff, English breakfast, ham and cheese etc. We stayed 7 nights and it was perfect. Price vs quality - totally recommend!

Walls are thin, so you can hear quite clearly your “neighbors”.

Easy check in process, with pool, good location and clean facilities

There are no wifi in the rooms so you have to sit in the lobby or by the pool

Staff was amazing all around, reception was very helpful with any questions as it was our first time visiting. Location is wonderful as well, especially for people renting a car, maybe 10 minutes from the capital, also 10 to 15 minutes from airport. Indoor pool area also has a table tennis spot which was super fun for me and my boyfriend. Breakfast was a regular buffet, there is something for everyone.

Only things to look out for are the signal in the room which exists, but it's very very weak, and the fact that there is no electrical sockets near the bed.

Clean room. Nice garden, very green. Fridge and small kitchen in the room. Room was cleaned every day. Location,close to the Funchal. Free safe locker in the room.

Heavy Chlorine smell in the coridors, indoor pool and in the bar. No WiFi in the room. We had small kitchen in the room without kettle and cutlery. Management refused to give us the kettle. Basic breakfast. Too small breakfast room for such a big hotel, long queues for tea,or coffee. Sometimes no free table to seat. Very small TV.

Close to the airport, spacious and clean rooms, multiple pools, parking for free within few metres around the roundabout. Kind and smiley staff. Overall we had very nice stay and would recommend except breakfast. Plenty of restaurants in front of the hotel. Can recommend Snack bar Neptuno.

The BREAKFAST, nice place, outdoor terrace, comfy seating but the food is terrible. Scrambled eggs like you may read in many reviews, they are right. Mushrooms sunked in oil, rotten lettuce, eggs from powder or dried out? One thing I do appreciate is the variety of bread/coffee. Now it is 3star I did not expect much but this was not ok. Considering the potential of the hotel it is shame.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel and would like to share my experience. • The location is fantastic, just a short walk from Cristo Rei statue, offering a convenient base to explore the area. • The room was clean and well-maintained, with a stunning view from the balcony. • There are plenty of cafes nearby with delicious local food • Breakfast was a highlight – a tasty buffet with a good variety of options. • The staff was friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist. • The relaxation area was well-organised, providing a peaceful space to unwind

• Unfortunately, there was no Wi-Fi in the rooms, which was a bit inconvenient. • While the bathroom was clean, I did notice some mold, which could be improved.
