we liked the location, it was close to the beach and there are many restaurants near by. it is also a 10min walk to the city centre. the apartmant was realy clean and the personel was super helpful amd kind.

there is NO private parking. you have to park on the street which is 100m away up the steepest street you can imagine. the beds are only 180cm long, which can be a problem for some people. the shower is super small. We are pretty skinny and it is almost impossible to pick things from the floor.

I was instantly greeted with a great smile from Sarah the host. What a remarkable service person. She showed me to my beautiful apartment. All the details in the apartment were great. Two towels, small towels, beach towels. I could clean my clothes, and I could go for a swim at the rooftop pool overlooking the beautiful ocean over Madeira. She immediately helped me with suggestions on what to do, and I could even rent a car and park it inside. It's safe and secure, with two gates on each side. She suggested restaurants, hiking, where to drink ponchas, etc. I was cared for there every day. If you want someone who cares about their guests, apartment Madeira is the place to be. They know the defintion of service. I will bring my girlfriend here next time.

The apartment block is located at the edge of the Old Town. It's convenient without being too noisy. The apartment allocated to me was in the new wing. The locals said it was a new build. It's spacious and comfortable without being too pricey. There's a swimming pool on the roof where you could sit around and enjoy the sunset. There is also one washing machine to be shared amongst guests staying there.

I could hear loud music wafting up from a restaurant at the foot of the hill from 9 pm till well after midnight one night due to some sort of a festival in town and on another night, some neighbours seemed to be moving furniture next door in the wee hours which was not very pleasant but It was quiet otherwise.

Outstanding accomodation, everything you need for a comfortable and safe stay. The apartment is moments from the entrance to Old Town, the area is safe, the location is quiet at night, the facilities are exceptional, the staff are the best I’ve encountered anywhere in the world. The apartment is impeccably clean, the host was waiting for me at arrival and helped me with outstanding suggestions of things to do, places to see and the best venues to eat, from a local’s point of view! You are less than a 10 minute walk to the centre of Funchal city and the minutes to the bay/marina area. I felt safe walking around at night, I can neither fault the accommodation, nor the location, nor the staff. I have travelled the world and this has been, by far, my favourite place to stay.

Location. At the end of town, close to shops, restaurants, bars, beach… Apartment is perfect size, comfortable for two people. Check in was great. I was allowed to check in early and was shown the property and given recommendations on things to do.

The new Appartment with all necessary items in it (apart from washing machine), good view from big comfortable balcony, very comfortable beds. Very nice and helpful personnel. Place is very good located, near promenade and beach. Supermarket is 15 minutes away. Highly recommended.

Instead of dish washer I would better have washing machine in this appartment. But it is only my preference.

Modern apartment with everything you might need. Very friendly staff. Let us keep the apartment until 4pm on our last day as we had a late flight. Can thoroughly recommend

The apartment is a great location, minutes from good restaurants and a short walk into town. It was clean and spacious. The view is into other apartments.

I didn't not like anything, it's an older apartment so the interior is a bit dated and a paint of the walls would freshen it up. But that wouldn't deter me from staying there again. One point, when renting an apartment with a kitchen, check that there is enough cutlery for the amount of guests staying!

The apartment was very good, clean and modern. Everything you need for your stay, including a fully equipped kitchen. Great location, very close to the old town - which is the pretty part of the town (vs the west part, which is mostly big hotels). The host Sarah was so nice and always available, I even left something at the apartment and she posted it to me <3 Wifi was very fast. We would 100% recommend, it was a very pleasant experience!

Luciano and Sarah were 2 wonderful "hosts" ... always available and very kind .. perfect apartment, comfortable, quiet and with the plus of free internal parking ... if you intend to visit the splendid island of Madeira, the best place (logistically) is Funchal and these apartments are in an excellent position, very close to the center but out of the confusion! if (and when) we return to Madeira this is where we will stay!
