The Residencial is located in the centre of Funchal Old Town, next to the iconic Markets. It is a bit old fashioned, but the room was comfortable, well equipped (en-suite, Cable Tv, and a Fan). A real bonus was the shared kitchen, where you can keep things in the fridge, make hot drinks or heat up food. The room was cleaned daily by a friendly cleaner. I was nervous before going there as the price was so low, but I had nothing to worry about, it was great, and I will certainly stay there again. Very close to a large Supermarket for your shopping, bus stops, and the Cable Car Station, for getting around the Island. Selection of Bars and Eateries nearby.

A few, could be negatives, but they weren't a problem for me - lots of stairs and no Lift. It was August and the room did get hot, but a Fan was provided, so it was fine. You can get some general hustle and bustle noise from the Market opposite, if you have your window open, but I think that this added to the character of staying in the Old Town rather than a Tourist Resort.

The room was exactly like in the picture. It's the room I hoped to get. Clean room and confortable bed. I got helpful instructions for late check in the day before.. The lady working there is kind and always smling at you. Location is perfect! The kitchen is equiped 5/5!!

I recommend changing the light bulbe/lamp. It feels night during the day

Great place to stay. The location is perfect. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a towel and hairdryer in the room. Laundry is offered for a price with a terrace to dry it on. Luggage storage is also offered.

Soooo central ! So close to all the shops and restaurants and all the bus stops ! It was just perfect … walking distance to the walk or anything you want to do in town

Maybe a kettle or instructions to using the stove it when no one was around

The location was very good - easy to walk to from the Aeroporto bus stop and easy to get to the centre of Funchal from. I have not seen so many television channels to choose from for a long time.

Can't recommend more! They provided useful tips and interesting information upon arrival. The room was very clean and functional. I messed up my checkout time and they were accomodating and understanding, polite and friendly. Perfect!

Location in the city center

Quite noisy. The window had to be closed all night to eliminate sounds from the street.

The room is exactly as in the photos, great location, best value for money
