The apartment is so central and in the hub of the old town. There are two supermarkets nearby. It is very clean, bright and spacious. The rooftop veranda was a peaceful place to relax with the most incredible views - day and evening. Cristina, the host was attentive and the breakfasts provided by a health food store were delicious. A daily visit by staff to clean the apartment and refresh towels/bedding was also a lovely unexpected touch. In summary, was a lovely place to relax both during the day and after a long day of activities.

The apartment was quiet at night however the street below came to life very early which was expected when choosing a central place.

The apartment is spacious. Located in the old town, very close to 2 supermarkets, Farmer´s market, the famous street with painted doors and promenade. in a flat part! We enjoyed daily cleaning service and breakfasts. They were simple, but the pastry was tasteful and fresh. In general we enjoyed our stay wits small exceptions. Parking was eighter in parking houses (15 EUR/night) or on the street in blue zones-difficult to find the place, but feasible. Free over night and weekends. Consider using public transportation for Funchal and agencies for treks (you do not have to return to the same place from a trek), next time I will not rent a car, maybe just for 2 days for visiting some far away places we haven´t done.

One day breakfast was not delivered. There is some engine outside starting to humm around 4/5am, which woke us up often, as the windows do not have isolation (typical Mediterranean style sliding windows). Kitchen should have added some more knives.

Fabulous location central to every amenity. 2 supermarkets within minutes walk. Breakfast included and was really nice and a minute walk away. (Turn right when leaving the apartment building). Would highly recommend only minor things in the 'didn't like' comments :-)

Air con outside the bedroom window very noisy at night we were possibly unlucky with the apartment we were in. The apartment could have done with an extra armchair as only 1 couch fitting 3 comfortably, so an extra chair would have been nice.

This accomodation has a great location, being placed in the middle of Funchal. Supermarkets are widely available nearby and all kinds of shops, too. The apartment is very large and the kitchen includes all the necessary stuff.

Parking is either difficult (if you wish to look for a nearby parking spot) or pretty much expensive (if you wish to park inside a garrage). The breakfast includes too much "sugary" stuff and just a bit of ham and cheese.

Lovely apartment, comfortable, bedrooms nice, kitchen ok with lots of utensils, but a few still needed, for eg coffee making equipment like a French Press.

Shower not nice. Too high to reach and can’t move the head to angle towards myself. The air extractor was exceedingly noisy. Bedroom windows not double glazed so all the street noises can be heard very easily especially at night late when the supermarket below as restocking. I had to wear earplugs.

The location is just perfect, on a parallel street with the main shopping street, so everything is in a walking distance (eg. Santa Maria street or the Market Hall). As the name shows, it is located on a quite high floor with a stunning view to Funchal. The access is working with codes only, so it is super smooth. The apartment is spacious, well-equipped and comfortable. AC was working which was a big help in drying our clothes. Wifi is free and fast, and the breakfast was hung on the door before we woke up. It was perfectly enough for 2 people with pastries, fruits and juices. Overall great accomodation, I would recommend it.

As our flight was cancelled we needed accomodation quickly, so we booked this place 30 minutes before check-in time. The operator did not realize there is a booking, so when I called her (after check in time) she was surprised, and we needed to wait around 20 minutes to get the access code. From then, everything worked perfectly fine:) Also one small detail: the toilette was leaking.

Location was great, very close to everything (bars, restaurants and 2 big supermarkets) and the beds were very comfortable. The apartment was very clean. The cleaning ladies came every day, including Sunday.

The apartment was very noisy: the windows did not retain at all any noise from the street. Starting from 7 a.m., when the city woke up, we had the feeling that we were sleeping in the street. The amenities were missing from the bathroom: apart from a liquid soap, there was neither shampoo, nor shower gel. We stayed one week and the bed sheets were not changed at all. The apartment has no parking. In the area, there are only parking at which you have to pay.

Excellent location so central in the city. Breakfast was continental so breads, jams, cheese, ham, cakes, fruit and juice, there was plenty to eat and set us up for the day without the need to stop for a breakfast. There was an issue with the water pressure but the staff did everything they could to fix it and also offered us an alternative room to shower in until it had been fixed - they were very helpful. Nice roof top area to sit in the sun. The apartment is very clean and spacious.

Only one mirror in the apartment and it is in the bathroom, I had travelled with a friend so it was difficult to get ready to go out if one of us was already in the bathroom. A full length mirror would be very beneficial

The place was right in the centre, easy to find and close to everything. Cleaners came in everyday (which was a surprise as we weren't expecting them) so place was very clean. The Rooftop is amazing especially as we had a firework display. Host were helpful and polite.

Be careful with pick ups for tours as sometimes if you type in five design, building number 45 comes up which is down the road to the apartment. It would've been nice to have shampoo/ condition as the only soap provided was generic. Same with salt and pepper for cooking, not a problem per say just a nice little extra.

Great central location. Spacious apartment with many facilities. Amazing roof terrace which wasn’t even in the property details. Daily cleaning was a bonus. Having air conditioning in the flat was a bonus. Flat was conveniently located opposite the supermarket and close to old town and restaurants and where the flower festival activities were taking place. Very reasonable price for the apartment.

Would have been if there were basic food ingredients in the flat. There were works going on which started early morning and it was very noisy. It would have been good if the property had warned us about this beforehand. The flat was quite noisy at times from the building works and street noise. There were security entry key pads for the main front door and the flat front door however the code for both was the same with no keys to lock the door. This is very weak security as anyone who knew the code could have entered the flat.
