Good location, although the front door opens up to a busy road and there's no sidewalk on this particular street. Be careful when arriving and leaving! We rented a car and had no problem finding parking spots near the apartment. The hosts provided extra towels and gave us an extensive list of places to eat and visit during our trip. There's a laundry room in the basement of the building (laundry detergent included!) which was nice during a 2-week trip. The apartment was clean, and the bedroom was larger than I expected. The bathroom, kitchen, and living area are quite small. It was fine for me when I was there alone, but after a few days, it felt a little small for 2 people. If you're solo traveling, it's perfect. Overall, a good experience. Madeira and its people are lovely!

Leaving during rush hour (morning and evening) made me nervous at times because cars would come out of nowhere, speeding down the street. It felt a bit dangerous. There was a little enclosed balcony, which was nice during the day when I was working. There's not much lighting at night, so we didn't spend much time out there. The space It doesn't get direct sunlight (something to keep in mind if you're looking for a big, sunny outdoor space). It was fine for us.

Excellent location with easy walking access to public transportation, grocery, farmer’s market, restaurants and the waterfront. It was an easy 5-mins walk from the Aerobus stop #3 (Campo da Barca). Apartment had a spacious bedroom and bathroom; ample hot water; efficient and well-equipped kitchen and a small living/dining area. It was very clean and included cleaning and a change of sheets and towels once a week.

The sofa and beds could be more comfortable. The apartment and its balcony were not sunny at any time of the day thus it felt a bit cold and damp at times during February as there was no heating.

Sarah, the host, was very welcoming, friendly and pleasant to talk with and she has a lot of great recommendations. The location of the apartment is also very central, it has easy access to the city center, a very good shopping center where you can buy groceries and many good restaurants within walking distance. I didn’t have any issues finding a parking in the street where the apartment is during my stay, which is free.

Lovely host and good location - close to all the central points in the city.

The place was not sparkling clean (not smelling too good honestly as well - but at least bedsheets were super clean and fresh). Some things were quite old and not in the best condition (like sofa). Also It was quite noisy in the night because of the cars - watch out for those with lighter sleep.

Great location, walking distance from the city center and with parking spots on the road right outside the Apartments. Quiet and clean, comfortable bed and spacious bathroom/shower. We had the most amazing welcome from our host, Sarah, who gave us the best tips for visiting the island. Thank you again! 100% recommended!

Great appartement with everything you could have need on a week's stay. Fully equipped kitchen, even a private terrace. Location was perfectly located in between old town and city center. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and even let me check out late. Would Def book again when I come back to Madeira.

Our host was great, she gave us a lot of useful informations and tips about the best places in Funchal. The apartment was very spacious with fully equipped kitchen. There was a parking lot close by which we really appreciated while renting a car. Overall a great experience.

This was perhaps one of the best holiday homes I have ever rented. Luciano and Sarah were both very helpful from the moment of the booking, during the check in, as well as during my entire stay though out to the check out. They were easy to approach and responded quickly to all my questions and queries. As for the setting, the house is divided in to 6 holiday homes, so everybody shares the same mission of enjoying their holidays and you do not need to feel uncomfortable bumping into locals not liking the idea of sharing their space with tourists all the time (which I have full understanding to btw). On top of that, my apartment had an independent entrance and came with a terrace that provided amazing views. Beds were comfy, kitchen was very well equipped, and everything was perfectly clean. Weekly cleaning (included in the price) came as a cherry on the top of the cake. The location was close to perfect for my needs - not exactly in the centre, yet very close to the municipal market, marina, old town, cable car station, public transport, restaurants, shopping mall etc. All of these in a walking distance. I do recommend this apartment to the other travelers with an easy heart.

There was nothing I had a chance to dislike.

Great location,a five minute stroll to restaurants, etc. We stayed in flat 19 and it's very quiet for sleeping and private. Helpful staff and always reply promptly to questions Good washing machine facilities.

The sofa needs replacing, and it is uncomfortable to sit on.

We stayed 8 nights, the apartment had all we needed, it was clean and perfectly located, just a walk from central area in Funchal. There's also a free parking spot just outside the apt. Sarah is a great host! Anna
