The apartment was in a great location, 5min walking to the Teleferico and next to the Mercado dos Lavradores. A very big supermarket is 2min walking distance. It was very spacious and had a small balcony. The bed was comfortable and big. Kitchen worked well, we cooked two evenings with no issues. Living and dining room was very big and comfortable. The bathroom was big and quite new. There is a new washing machine with hanger and iron with ironing board. We had a package with breakfast included, which was a collaboration with BioForma (healthy food place). We tried all three menu choices, which were all really good and the staff took care with allergies. We communicated with the management team via WhatsApp which worked very well and very smoothly. The doors lock with a number code, so you don’t have to bring around a key. The apartment gets cleaned every day, with fresh towels every two days.

It was in a very busy street so with the windows open it was very loud, but we slept with the windows closed and didn’t hear anything. The shower head was not possible to be fixed (it kept sliding down). The washing machine worked very well, however it is in a closed cabinet next to the entrance door, so the door needs to be closed to exit and enter the apartment. Unfortunately there is no parking at the apartment, however you can park at the underground parking lot of the Anadia Shopping Mall for 15€/day. Parking on the street is free on weekdays from 20h-8h and on Sundays. Parking on the street can be tricky as the machines only accept coins and you can park for 56min.

It was effortless to use the code provided in the message from the host to access the apartment. I loved the location most of all, absolutely perfect for everything that I wanted to do. I wasn’t expecting the apartment to be serviced during my stay & I was surprised to notice it had been cleaned each day, like a hotel.

I was slightly confused about the breakfast arrangements & messaged the host but got no response. I was running late for a tour one day & another day I didn’t feel great & the 3rd day I had an early start to the airport, so I actually missed the breakfast opportunity which is a pity as it looked superb.

The accomodation staff “Cristine” is big proffesional and everything was so smooth and correctly done. The accomodation is well cared. Really appreciate location of the room. Wow! I was surprised. And also balcony was super cool to watch an evening city “noise”. The price is really fair!

The only things i would mention is system of breakfast… whilst we ve been ordering one day ahead everyday until 4pm after coming to the breakfast morning to the resturant we needed to place that order again. So we did not really knew why we need to book breakfast one day ahead. Also we tried to manage breakfast on time, but it was not really successfull, and we ve been about to leave without breakfast… we decided to stay and had to eat breakfast fast because of oir flight. Supposed to be ready breakfast at 7:30, but we waited 30 mins… Breakfast is nice, pretty simple, super tasty tea and juice. Actually the room we got was not really comfortable for 4 people.

Central location, apartment on fourth floor but accessed by elevator. Did not hear noise from other apartments although did hear a little street noise which would be expected given the location. Breakfast more than enough and fresh. Kitchen has adequate equipment and crockery for preparing own meals although the kitchen area lacked workspace. Offered cleaning and fresh towels every day. Comfy beds and a good shower. TV had English speaking programmes. WiFi was mainly good but not working on one of the days. Communication with management team was very good although we had difficulty bank transferring the tourist tax and had to pay in cash instead.

Poorly designed bathroom - door didn’t open fully and banged against sink. Need a tray under dish draining board. Was reprimanded for opening windows as they were glued shut ( not sure this would meet H &S requirements of UK ) and we could not read very small notice asking not to open them. It was very warm and we needed fresh air.

The location is great - you have access to a wide variety of supermarkets and to all kinds of shops. Basically, this property is placed on one of the main streets. The kitchen includes all kinds of amenities.

Parking is very difficult as you have to park your car inside a garrage of a supermarket, which is rather expensive. The room is good, yet some imrovements could be made. For example, the bathroom could be improved. The provided coffee is only instand, there is no espresso machine or another alternative. The breakfast is pretty much very sugary, you only get a very small piece of ham and cheese.

The apartment and location were excellent. There were several international TV programs including Eurosport The cleaning staff were friendly and did an excellent job

The parking was a five minute walk away and was more expensive that we had been quoted. The breakfasts were not to our taste as they were basically processed carbs. We asked to have it changed but this was not possible.

We had a great time at this apartment midst the centre of Funchal. It was cleaned every day and there's even a washing machine in the apartment! We didn't use it but that is a total plus. The bed was good and we were able to cook every meal in the kitchen. We also appreciated the little café downstairs where we got coffee and pastel de nata, a typical cake from Madeira. Because of the use of a code to get in and out of the apartment, it was really easy to 'check-out' and leave for our flight back. The busstop is also very closeby. It is located on a busy shopping street, but it had an airconditioning that worked fine, so we were able to get some good nights of sleep without any noise from outside. Great place to finish our holiday in Madeira.

Room, staff, comfort, cleanliness all great. The location was outstanding, close and walkable to stores and restaurants, the cable car, the Mercado, and the waterfront. Also a lovely walk to the Cathedral, and beautiful parks. A lovely coffee shop is just downstairs.

It's not a hotel with a lobby, and breakfast is delivered to your door each morning. It was too heavy on bread for my tastes. But a grocery store, where you can also park, is half a block away.

A fully equipped kitchen and even a washing machine was a huge benefit. Location was also great having everything nearby - the market, supermarkets, restaurants, bus stations to all locations on the island, the harbour, ...

The breakfast was getting quite repetitive after a few days. While I appreciate the effort to have breakfast delivered to the door every morning, a little bit more variety would have been nice. E.g. making use of the wide variety of fruits available on Madeira, instead of just going for apples and bananas.

We really liked the location of the apartment in the city center near everything you need, the apartment was spacious very clean and it also had a balcony.

There was no hangers for coats or something where we could dry our clothes, parking was really difficult in Funchal so maybe they could at least offer some discounts in the parking houses and the breakfast could be improved.
