Breakfast was superb. Room was very nice. Facilities are what is expected and all work. Location in Brussels is great connection to Gare de Midi/Brussels Zuid station and towards the centre by tram, metro or walking. Staff is very friendly and calm. Very clean and very comfy beds.

The shower doors did not close properly. The area around the hotel seemed quite unsafe but that could also be due to internal bias. The Wi-Fi was very intermittent: the internet itself cut out for a minute or so every so often. I think the price you pay is on the higher end for what you get overall.

A lovely reception area on arrival. The staff were very helpful and happy to order taxis, get extra towels when needed. We were in room G03 it was down one level wow the room was massive a large double bed and two full size singles and a bathroom I have never seen one so large. It was clean and had everything you could ask for opening windows for fresh air or great Air con, shower was great and plenty of plugs etc. We didn't eat breakfast here but it always smelled nice. Cleaners were lovely, polite and had a laugh sometimes in translation. Nice to have 24/7 reception and at night security as well. If you could walk it wasn't far from the stations otherwise we could call a taxi into town which we did often as I cannot walk far fare around 12€ A lovely restaurant across the road had nice food and we sat outside which was nice on arrival.

The bad bit was the area definitely wouldn't recommend it for lone travellers especially females. Lots of people hanging around in square outside and I should imagine when the road fair wasn't there it would be very quiet, I would feel very intimidated walking back to hotel. Also sometimes the noise above the room was loud as you were under the table and chairs which could be noisy when people were banging and scrapping them late but you got used to it, but if you light sleepers might not like it. This is a shame as otherwise it is lovely

We really liked the hotel. The family room was just right for us. It was beautifully decorated in terms of style. The highest praise goes to the reception staff, who helped us several times with their advice and practical assistance. The receptionist even called the delivery service on our behalf to check where our food delivery had gotten stuck (yes, it seems that food delivery to a hotel in Brussels is completely normal). We can’t comment on the breakfast because we didn’t use it. We hesitated quite a bit due to warnings about the hotel’s location. Yes, the neighborhood is rather dirty, there’s a lot of trash, and some sketchy people gather around, but we didn’t experience any unpleasant or dangerous situations. Gare du Midi is literally two streets away, which was very convenient for us, as we used it to take trips to other cities and the coast. The city center is about a 15-minute walk away.

As for the downsides, apart from the location—which is something the hotel can’t really influence—we have one suggestion: it would be great to have a small fridge in the room.

The staff was wonderful, they took early luggage to put it in holding since we arrived before check in. It was a relatively quick walk from the train station to the hotel. Very clean and modern for the area.

Location was good In regards to distance from the train, but overall, the neighborhood was not the highest quality. We were very disappointed until we walked about 15 minutes toward the square and realized the beauty of Brussels. When we arrived, there was a fight that broke out on our walk to the hotel. Of course, not the hotel's fault or location or this incident, but it was unfortunate. We also had a large man sleeping outside of our door when we woke up at 5:00 a.m. to catch the 6:00 a.m. train. He was blocking our way out so I nudged him to wake him up. He was obviously drunk, and I assume he could not get into the room next door but I am not certain.

The Staff were very lovely. The rooms and the entrance had a pleasant scent and were very nicely decorated with lots of space and pretty furniture. Very modern and good amenities like TV (with Youtube etc), aircon, hair dryer, towels).The outdoor area at the back was a nice bonus for gatherings (but it could do with a bit more maintenance and love). The breakfast was really tasty and with a fair amount of hot and cold options (including gluten free). Overall a pleasant stay for a big group with large rooms and bathrooms catering up to 4 people. Distance-wise only a 10-15 minute walk towards the main centre. Customer service was also very informative and responsive, and the payment process was simple.

Location-wise it was a good distance from the centre but it didn't have anything going on around the area of the hotel. It's also a shame for the hotel that the paths and fountain outside of where it's situated weren't the cleanest, but the hotel definitely was. The light sleepers did use earplugs to help block out some of the noise coming from passers by, but generally it wasn't too loud.

The hotel offers good service value, is clean and has all the main facilities you would expect. Breakfast is decent and the breakfast room offers a view to what I will describe next ...

The hotel is located in a very dodgy and dangerous place. While I was there, I saw a brawl between maybe 10 ppl, and I walked past someone bleeding heavily while on my way to the hotel in the evening. 20 policemen arrived minutes after. The square in front of the hotel is EXTREMELY UNSAFE, and there's always gangs around. I never felt so unsafe in my whole life. Going to the hotel at night was like fighting for survival. The streets around the hotel are all littered also. Avoid that hotel if you value your safety. I won't go back and don't recommend it to anyone until the safety improves. It's a shame as the hotel is really nice.

The location….we needed to be near the railway station. Decor and tranquil gardens at the rear were nice. The receptionist had a hearty laugh!

There were several maintenance issues which we took to the staff. They seemed concerned and hopefully have resolved these now. Some of the reviews express concern about the safety outside the hotel….we initially found the area off putting as there are people hanging around, but after familiarising ourselves with the area we felt comfortable and were happy walking into Brussels centre without issues. There was an excellent Sunday eastern food market which was a delight to see just round the corner, and there are security staff around the hotel if anyone needed reassurance. The whole area will be much more pleasant when the work on the nearby road is completed.

The staff was very helpful and very polite, every small interaction put a smile on my face (and it's not a joke, I felt the need to smile every time I went to the reception or bumped into the cleaning crew down the hall). Btw, the room was impeccably clean and smelled wonderful evey night coming back to the hotel. If the managers are reading this, know that they deserve a raise :)

I didn't quite enjoy the area, there is trash everywhere on the streets (not hotel's fault but...). On the plus side, it's close to Gare du Midi. I guess it's the same story in every city - the closer to the train station, the dirtier the streets.

Probably one of the cleanest places I have stayed in, it was immaculate! Many thanks to the housekeeping staff. The breakfast was also superb, such a great choice and a lovely place to sit and enjoy it. Staff were very accommodating and the place is lovely, beautiful decor and a nice oasis.

If you could buy drinks there (even non-alcoholic) that would be great. It is probably not the prettiest location in terms of the surrounding area, but I felt very comfortable and safe nonetheless and it is no different to parts of other cities in that respect.

The staff were the most kind, informative and accomodating hotel staff I have ever come across, they let me and my friend keep our bags at the hotel past check out time for free as our flight was later on in the evening, and we were still able to enjoy the patio and seating area. As for the room, it was extremely clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and had a lovely mirror and spacious sink and shower.

The only issue we came across was that water was dripping from the ceiling above the shower, and a piece fell down during the night, as well as light flickering in the bedroom.
