Warm and clean with mega comfy bed. For a busy location the rooms were well sound proofed

The area but not the hotels fault. It was convenient for the Eurostar but not the cleanest area.

The check-in process was very smooth and quick. Sara and Samuel, who were at the reception, were very polite and friendly. The hotel and the room were very clean. The rooms were cleaned, beds made, and towels replaced daily. There was an excellent variety of food for breakfast. There were free luggage storage facilities. The location is very convenient to access transport links, only a very short walk from the train/metro/tram and bus stations, though it was about 20-25 mins walk from the Grand Place.

The room was slightly different from the description on Booking.com. It was facing the street rather than the garden, and I was told that there were no garden facing twin rooms. Although the room was soundproof to a certain extent, the deafening noise of ambulances was heard fairly frequently, though this is beyond the control of the hotel. I would recommend a room facing the garden. The seating arrangement was also different from the description. The room was slightly smaller than expected from photos.

Location was good as it was very close to the Midi Zuid station. Rooms were good - bed very comfortable but pillows were poor. Bathroom good. Nice to have a cold water machine in the foyer. Breakfast was a usual continental one and the scrambled egg, fruit loaf and other pastries were very nice. Option to sit and eat outdoors too. Air con was much appreciated during our visit!

Instructions on how to get to you would have been good as we initially took the wrong exit out of the station and had a long walk! Bit of a walk to get to the centre bars/eateries too but we got used to this fairly quickly. There was often a lack of clean glasses for the water machine.

It's very conveniently located next to Bruxelles Midi (which was where we trained in and out from). We had considered a different hotel on the other side of the station, but luckily we chose this one instead as the roadworks around the station would have made it very difficult to get to the others we considered.

the sound-proofing seems to need improvement. We could clearly hear the room directly upstairs (and it sounded like they constantly dropped something heavily all the time) or anytime anyone else walked past our door. Our room was, however, on a high floor and faced towards the back (i.e. not towards the station) so it was otherwise relatively quiet and had a nice view of the Palace of Justice.

€24 for breakfast is expensive.Local eatery does all you can eat for €14.50. Locality rather sad, around entrance for this station is a bit dodgy especially at outside tram platforms but not the hotels issue.

Room was clean, bed was very comfortable, staff were very pleasant, breakfast had a good variety of food.

Room was warmer than we like - probably 21c. A/C is not available in the winter, we could open the window to make the room more comfortable but the hotel is across from the train station so there was a lot of train noise when the window was open. When closed the room was very quiet. The hotel is very convenient for travel by train (e.g. Eurostar) but its not a pretty area and you have to walk a few blocks to find nicer restaurants - hence my score of 8/10.

From the moment we arrived until the last cup of coffee upon leaving, the staff gave us their undivided attention, helping with all sorts of various things. Each & every staff member we interacted with were friendly & super helpful. The beds were very comfy. The entire room was comfy. We never heard the trains at all. Occasionally voices traveling down the hall but all in all, the rooms were extremely well soundproofed!

I was aware of the vibe of this location after reading reviews before booking, but we were traveling by train & I wanted to stay close to the station & "seedy" neighborhoods don't often scare me. The streets were fairly unclean in the area but I never felt threatened or scared in any way. Besides the south train station directly across the street, the Metro station was as well! Just 3-4 stations away from the heart of Brussels.

The location of the hotel is perfect - only a few steps away from the Midi station. The room was quite spacious, well kept. The breakfast was great.

The room was okay but unfortunately I was surprised that the toilet was not clean enough. I checked-in late and told the member of staff at the reception about the problem. Went out for the walk and when I came back I could tell by the smell that they did the cleaning. Unfortunately the problem was not entirely resolved - I just used the toilet brush to clean myself.

Few minutes walk from the station, they gladly stored our suitcase on the last day, everything was neat and tidy and a comfortable room. Very friendly staff at reception, delicious main meals from room service, yummy biscuits in the room, good storage, modern bathroom.

We were happy with everything honestly (okay 1 tiny thing that is quite funny - we ordered room service one night and the Brussels waffle was literally a rock hard dry piece of cardboard, it was the strangest thing! But we laughed at it. I would just recommend don’t order it!)

The staff was always willing to help, never had a problem with cleaning and the facilities were value for money

the only thing i did not like was the location. Loved the fact that the station was right across the street but that also came with many homeless people and many weird people that made the whole neighborhood a bit sketchy. We just figured some paths that were always busy so that we feel safer. Don’t take it the wrong way we always felt safe IN the hotel, just not the neighborhood.
