Easy and smooth checkin to a larger room at the back of the hotel (short stairway to entrance). Pre-arrival contact and advice was excellent. The hotel is newly renewed and rebuilt and comfortable and had everything we needed including an opening window onto a quiet courtyard. The hotel is across the road from Bruxelles Midi station so we used it as a base to visit Gent, Bruges, Antwerp and Luxembourg by train. Brussels is very central as a place to stay while doing day trips on a rail pass across Belgium. The hotel is close to transit to Brussels sights.

The quoted price of the hotel buffet breakfast was very high: there is a much better and cheaper and larger buffet breakfast in a nearby cafe. The area around Midi station is becoming more unpleasant for travellers than in the past with street people, graffiti and so on. This is not a dangerous area but it's just becoming increasingly seedy. Balance this against travel convenience and the good comfort and friendly welcome of the hotel when booking if it is of concern to you.

The location is very convenient for the Eurostar terminal, a few minutes walk, plus you can easily walk to the historic centre of Brussels in 20-25 mins. The hotel was actually nicer than we expected for the price, the room was spacious , not cramped at all which we have found before in triple rooms. The breakfast was pleasant and plentiful. Maybe SLIGHTLY less choice than we've had in other European hotels, but the hotel wasn't very full when we stayed so we're not expecting a massive banquet! The staff we interacted with were all very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this hotel, exceptionally good value for money !

Nothing really

We booked this hotel last minute as our train to Paris was cancelled. The staff is very helpful and kind. The hotel is very clean and neat. Location is very close to the train station. The area near the train station seems a bit doggy however Jill hotel is situated in a safer street.

The rooms are very small. If you have 2 big luggage then it's impossible to fit in. It's right in the main street so it can get v noisy. But o guess that's the limitation with centrally located hotels.

I was in Jill Hotel for a long weekend. I was really impressed by the kindness of the staff. Sometimes is not about the room or food. It's about the experience and how the people make you feel at home. A big shout out for Aisha in particular: she took care of us in the best way possible. She was kind, attentive to our needs and always supportive with everything. All the staff took care of us every single day. Defenetly I will choose this hotel if I will back in Brussels. Rosaria

The staff was very friendly and helpful also The hotel location is very convenient if you are planning to take the train to Brugge and Ghant (it is right in front of the hotel)

The hotel area can be a little sketchy, and require caution eve though I never felt unsafe or in danger! To Brussels tourist area like the Grand Place! It is about 40 min Walk!

The room was very spacious and pretty much everything I needed was there. Fairly close to the city centre

The mini fridge had no cable attached to it so it didn't work, and there was a strange brown/red stain on one of the towels. The area the hotel is located in doesn't look very nice

The bed was super big, although the pillows a bit too bouncy so ended up sleeping without a pillow. Breakfast was ok, toast, baguesttes, croissants, yogurts, apples, eggs, bacon, cheese, coffee, tea, plenty enough for us. Location is good, across from train station and 20min walk to city centre. The walk through wasn't too enjoyable as there are massive road works.

The pillows a bit too bouncy so ended up sleeping without the pillows. The view...better not. Our room had a rear view so there were demolitions and renovations going on at the back of the building. No water/tea/coffee or kettle available in the room. The shower curtain looked a bit old, the shower cabin floor really needs to be changed. The tiles around stained with mold. Toilet seat looked old too.

It's somewhat uncomfortable when the hotel staff writes your credit card number to some paper during check in

Booked in unexpectedly due train cancellation, greeted by friendly reception staff, Deluxe double was spacious and very comfortable for our nights stay, with tea and coffee facilities. Comfy bed. We overlooked the train station and could watch the trains coming and going.

Friendly staff, 24h service, clean and modern. Ideal when arriving late / leaving early from the Brussel Midi station.

Having to make a 50€ "non-smoker" deposit, in cash or credit-card reservation, although stated in their conditions, is inconvenient and came a bit as a surprise.
