Perfect location near the South station which serves greatly when using the Metro to explore the city or to reach your business locations such as EU premises, Spacious room, convenient and spacious bed, small kitchen with the typical equipment that one needs for small cooking activities (coffee machine, micro wave, induction stove with pan and pot for your eggs in the morning). The breakfast service is as others have it already described many times: In the morning the host delivers bread roles and others edibles (like puff pastry pieces or muffins or fruit etc.) at your room door, throughout the day the fridge will be refilled (with ham and cheese packages, milk, water, and other things for a substantial breakfast). The fridge in our room had also a freezer where you can store some ice-cream if you just came back from Spain and liked the idea of finishing your breakfast with ice-cream ... The building is one of those typical Brussels houses, i.e. a small, rather ancient house with small staircases, and to reach the (three) rooms you must take the staircases. It was no problem for us, but be prepared that it is not barrier free, and if you have two suitcases you most likely need to bring them to your room one after the other. The bowl of sweets at the foot of the staircase, however, is an incentive ;-)

The room (at least our) may deserve 1-2 armchairs for reading a book as it was spacious and cozy enough to remain a while and read a book or two, and specifically for us, despite having TV channels in French or Flemish and few in English, some German channels would have been appreciated.

We loved the passion and professionalism of the host Arthur - he made the stay stress free and really enjoyable 😊 We would definitely stay again...

This place is in a perfect location, especially if you like me travelled by train. Just across the street from Brussels Midi and close to tram, bus and metro stops. A lot of attractions are also within walking distance :-) As soon as you walk in through the front door, you'll feel more than welcomed and comfortable. The service is out-standing and the fact that the breakfast is included is a big bonus. Fresh bread and extras are provided daily and to your door so no set time for breakfast as you'd normally get with other hotels. Another bonus is that it is so blissfully quiet, a nice place to relax and unwind.

We loved our stay at Aparthotel Midi Residence. The location was perfect, just 1 block from Gare du Midi and very convenient to walk to the main attractions and public transportation if you need to go farther away. The apartment itself is very well equipped. Most breakfast items were already in the fridge when we arrived and the next morning Arthur left some fresh bread and fruit in a box by the door. We look forward to staying at Midi Residence again!!

Hmm. The kitchen was fine. No problem. BUT a bit more info about 'fully equipped kitched' would be good - for example, two hot plates and a microwave.

The host had great communication before our stay and was there when we arrived. Just one block back from Midi train station. He was friendly and helpful. The apartment is up stairs but he helped with luggage. The apartment is new, large, fresh and clean. Bed was so comfortable and great pillows. I loved we had blinds and windows we could open. The food in the fridge was outstanding with a huge range plus you got fresh bread at your door each morning at 7 plus a daily chocolate treat. There was meat, fruit, cheese, eggs, jams, honey, Nutella, milk, butter and water. A great coffee machine and super good shower. There is also a great castle to explore at the end of the road. There was a washer and dryer in the basement to use also. The area is a little rough so is the train station but we had no problems just kept our eyes out Like any city. So handy having the train station so close and we went out daily. On checkout day we left early we booked a Bolt directly to airport and took 15mins. Super handy location to explore Brussels. Would highly recommend this place. Our room was freshened up daily.

Great location, near Gare de Midi, huge room with 3 beds at first floor. The self-served breakfast in the room was fantastic and the fact that you could take it whenever you wake up was a big plus for me.

Prices are going crazy in Brussels IMHO. The location does not have a reception, the owner is waiting for you, so you may not arrive after 22.

Very convenient for Brussel-Zuid station and not too far to walk into the city centre. A good selection of items left in the fridge for breakfast, and bread and fruit are left outside the door early in the morning. Good to be able to cook a simple meal.

I couldn’t find a way to watch terrestrial channels on the tv. There was just a message on the screen about checking the connection, or going to source, which only gave access to various streaming services. Pulling down the blinds was tricky as I’m only 1m 50 tall. I could only just reach when I stood on a chair, which probably goes against health and safety advice.

Great location close to Midi station and public transport. Warm welcome by the owner, clean and well equipped rooms. Fridge full of food, restocked every day together with fresh bread and fruits in the morning. We recommend this place to everyone!

The room I stayed in was remarkably spacious, offering ample room to move around comfortably. Additionally, the proximity to the train station proved to be incredibly convenient, especially for travelers arriving from other cities by train. The inclusion of a well-equipped kitchen met my expectations, complete with essential appliances such as a fridge, microwave, and stove, as well as a selection of kitchenware, plates, bowls, and cutlery. Moreover, the breakfast provided by the host was a thoughtful touch, with a variety of items stocked in the fridge, including canned sardines, ham, cheese, and yogurt. Each morning, the host also delivered bread and placed it in front of the room, enhancing the overall breakfast experience.

While the room itself was spacious, I found the bathroom to be somewhat small in comparison. Additionally, while I appreciated the daily changing of the bathroom mat, I was disappointed to find that towels were not replaced during my three-day stay, which impacted the overall comfort and convenience of my visit.
