Lovely room, beautiful grounds, well kept. Hosts obviously put a lot of time into doing the place well. Breakfast was help yourself to toast, cereal, fruit etc. Close to Waitomo so very convenient for the caves.

There was only one toilet and one bathroom between several rooms, so while the communal teeth cleaning was quite fun, there was a bit of a queue. They could really do with another couple of toilets at least.

The check in was easy - a blackboard with your name and roomnumber. The breakfast was self-serving with a variety of choice. Even though I did not have time to enjoy, the garden setting was lovely. When I arrived at night a rabbit was crossing the street and I was welcomed by a very friendly dog and not at all shy cat. The proximity to the Waikomo Caves was nice too...

The walls are a bit thin and my room 4 was closest to the shared bathroom, which was in good use in the morning. The host seemed more shy than the cat/dogs which felt a bit anonymous to not have met at all...

The owner was very welcoming and helpful with information about local restaurants and Waitomo Caves.. The property is beautiful! Amazing views and garden. Access to the hot tub was a nice touch. Our room with twin beds was spacious, and the beds were very comfy. Parking was easy.. The continental breakfast was nice, held in a very pleasant room with big windows and a nice view.

Shared bathroom for several guests (8?). It's common for B&Bs, but not always convenient. In this case, there was a separate stall with an extra toilet, so that helped.

The location is great—it's a 10-minute drive to Waitomo Blackwater. The continental breakfast includes bread, jam, fruit, cereal, and even an oatmeal bar for each person. The garden is beautiful with a view to overlook the hills.

The rooms are too close to each other. I can hear all the sounds from the hallway, the other rooms, and the dining room. The chatting from the breakfast had woken me up very early in the morning. In addition, there are only two toilets, one shower, and one washing basin for all guests from 5-6 rooms during my stay. It's challenging to avoid waiting in the morning and at night.

The property was welcoming and we felt at home from the beginning of our stay. We loved the heartwarming interior in our rooms and it was more than cozy. The bathrooms were always clean and tidy. Which is surprising because shared bathrooms nearly always are unclean. The breakfast was wonderful! Thank you so much we will definitely recommend staying here, especially when you want to visit the Waitomo Caves the next day. And we really loved the dogs!! Can’t stop thinking about them.

Such an amazing place and we had a great time at the B&B. Parking is convenient. Everything is easy. The room is very clean and the beds are comfortable. Each room has its own air conditioner and TV, they are working fine. The self-check-in process is clear and the breakfast is continental, but enough. The owner's dog Jack is so friendly to be with you to have breakfast together. The location is fantastic to everywhere close by. Very recommended for an overnight stay and to start your next adventure in the Waitomo cave area the next day.

One bathroom for 4 bedroom is a bit difficult.

Gorgeous setting just a 15 minute drive from Waitomo Caves! The room provided ample space. The bed, linens, and pillows were comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean. We appreciated the side tables, small dining table, 2 chairs, huge bin, fridge, coffee, tea, mugs, and glasses in our room. Great wifi and A/C. Breakfast was good and included basics such as cereal, bread, English muffins, yogurt, jam, peanut butter, cream cheese, granola bars, fruit, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and OJ.

We didn't see any water available in the breakfast room. The owner was friendly as was the staff member who greeted us at our 8pm check-in, but she seemed a little uncertain about if we could use the kitchen. A little tour of the property and how things work may be useful in the future.

It was a fantastic stay, we would definitely stay there again! Trevor was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and had created a great place to stay! Incredible location for the Waitomo Glowworm caves and Kiwi House, easy driving and great parking at the B&B. Our room was exactly like the pictures and incredibly clean and well presented. There is a hot tub on site and views out across the countryside.

I liked everything. The cleanliness of the place is impeccable, they offer a continental breakfast, and the place is lovely. There's a spa, and there are benches and sofas to enjoy the view while you chat and have a coffee. There's parking on the property and a beautiful, well-maintained garden. The view is wonderful, and Trevor (the host) is very talkative and kind. This booking is definitely 10/10. And for those who like pets, there is a dog and a cat who love to be petted.
