I recently stayed at HIP Seaview Resort Phi Phi Island for my honeymoon and had a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the friendly staff with refresher drinks and cold towels, which was a delightful touch. I didn't mind the stairs leading up to the main lobby and room – a little exercise is always good! The beach nearby is beautiful, and the view is simply splendid. One of the highlights of our stay was when all the resort's cats came to our room; we had a lot of fun playing with them. The flowers around the resort added to the beautiful scenery, making our stay even more enjoyable. And I have to mention, the breakfast is absolutely delicious! I'll definitely come again!

I'll start with the view, which is breathtaking; we loved our breakfast and dinner on the terrace. I wouldn't recommend it to people who aren't very fit or disabled because this little paradise is only accessible by stairs. There's a lift for luggage. It's located in Long Beach, a 10-15 min by boat from the pier, a beautiful and not very crowded beach, perfect for snorkeling; you can even swim to Shark Point. Transportation to the hotel and back to the pier is provided by the hotel only for arrival and departure. There are always boats available just outside the hotel for an additional cost to reach the pier. It's also possible to walk for 45-50 minutes, but we preferred the boat, especially since it was affordable and very hot. The beach is quite long and offers various options: mini supermarkets, restaurants, massages, paddle boarding, kayaking, and scuba diving so you don’t really need to go to the centre unless you want something specific. The rooms are spacious, with sublime sea views, and cleaned daily. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help. To summarize, if you're looking for a relaxing place with a beautiful beach that's not too expensive, this is the perfect place. If you’re not ready for daily exercise and want to be close to the nightlife this may not be the place for you.

The long beach is just perfect, beautiful for swimming and snorkeling just from the shore. We really liked the room with the balcony, very comfy large bed, spacious bathroom. Beautiful terrace where they serve breakfast. The staff brought our luggage from taxi boat to our room, which was very convenient. Also taxi boat from and to Tonsai pier was complimentary.

The stairs are manageble for people in good health condition, I would say the same as going up to the the third floor. Wouldnt recommend it to those who struggle with walking or have breathing problems. The reception staff was quite unfriendly, we always felt like were bothering them with a question. When one of our group struggled with bad stomach sickness they were not helpful at all and did not care, the just told us to go to pharmacy which is in the town (quite far from the hotel). Other staff besides the people at the reception were really nice and friendly. The hotel restaurant closes at 8 PM for dinner, which was very early for us but you can find few other restaurants on the beach. (Do not recommend Paradise resort, that is where we got the stomach sickness).

The staff were very friendly. Views absolutely breathtaking (make sure to get a sea view room). The cats and kittens that live on site were very cute and playful (there's also monkeys that come and go so just be weary). Room basic but comfortable.

There's at least 150 steps to climb to reach the hotel, there's no other way. It's a little tiring but not a deal breaker. The views at the top are worth it! The breakfast is basic but tasty. No pool but the beach at the bottom is lovely (shared beach with nearby hotel).

On Long Beach - the most beautiful beach we have ever seen. Staff super friendly - greeted us with juice on arrival, upgraded us for free, gave us lots of advice and helped us secure two boat tours for a great price. Beautiful view from the room. Very clean. Breakfast great - especially the pancakes and scrambled eggs.

If looking to stay out late/party maybe not the best location. Long beach is quite isolated from the main part and you need to get a longboat everywhere (only about 300 baht each way but they get expensive late). But for us was perfect - we much preferred this side of the island anyway as we were looking to explore the island rather than go out and drink which we can do at home!

The views here speak for themselves. Unlike anywhere we have stayed before we were totally wowed by this place. y. The staff are super helpful and you get a boat shuttle included on check in and check out form the main pier in phi phi. Boat taxis to the main phi phi go from long beach all day and night until around 12am. You pay about 150 baht pp and it is super quick. I would really recommend staying here rather than main phi phi as it so easy to get there and much more beautiful in long beach

There are so many steps up to this property. If you can handle a workout everytime you want to go back to your room then you are ok. We managed but it did kind of hinder things. I guess that is the price you pay for the unreal view at the top. Air con wasn’t great and with 29 degrees at night. We could have done with it really.

Amazing views from the hillside. Our cabin was clean and modern, a very good shower and comfortable bed with plenty of space available. Reasonable enough breakfast which was included in the price so all good on that front. The men assisting with the longboats were great and very helpful with baggage both to/from arrival/departure (compimentary) as well as providing taxi services (100-150baht depending on day or night) into town at other times. Good location to quickly get to Tonsai pier if you’re wanting to do boat tours from there. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful

It’s advertised and well known but the amount of stairs is a lot - take your time in hot weather and obviously it is not a suitable location for physically challenged people.

The staff were helpful and friendly. Extras such as a cold towel and drink on arrival were appreciated. The boat transfer to the resort from the pier was as described. Even the 145 stairs were ok because we needed some exercise. Breakfast was quite good. For the money and the view, I thought it was good value. We took the 3 hour boat trip and thoroughly enjoyed it, but the coral was not healthy. Swimming at the Phi Phi Village beach was my favourite part of the boat trip.

All the cabins have views but some of the cabins have better views than others. Fortunately, we arrived when there were some similar empty cabins and could be moved to one with a better sea view. Many people wrote about the stairs, but we're in our 60s and had no problem.

Beautiful location and cabins. The view from our window was stunning. Very comfortable beds with good air conditioning. Breakfast was delicious and can buy drinks and snacks from front desk throughout the day. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel offers complimentary longboat transfer from port to hotel and back

Being on a quieter part of the island meant that it's a very long and steep walk (about 110 metres uphill and the same downhill) to get into town, in hot weather. There are no taxis on the island but you may be able to get a longboat taxi into town (I don't know for sure, as we chose to walk and didn't find this out). Generally, staff were nice but they were unkind to the lovely, friendly stray cats that roam around the property and aggressively scared them off when the cats were not causing any trouble, nor were they begging for food or annoying guests.

Outstanding views from the room, good breakfast, amazing staff. Spotless clean.

Be mindful that you need to walk up 150+ steps to get to the hotel. Mixed views about location: not close to Phi Phi centre however very nice beach close by. No toilet door, just a curtain.
